Just Right Carpentry & Painting

Pretty good. Three guys all together. They were very polite and cleaned up after themselves. Just one drawback.. I wished he would have told me that he was putting putty or caulking on the top and bottom of the moulding. Maybe because it was Home Depot moulding and was a little warped.

Joseph was extremely responsive-- on time and answered all questions. I was handling this painting project from afar for my elderly mother. Joseph even sent me pictures along the way. He did a great job and communicated well. His estimate came in exactly as he described and he completed the work on time.

My Wife and I could not be happier with the work performed by Joseph and his brother Tommy. We closed on our house in July and had a decent amount of work to do (remove carpet in all bedrooms, refinish the floors, crown molding in all room, paint entire house, etc). Being first time homeowners, we've heard nothing but nightmare stories about renovations from our friends. I was a bit skeptical about using Angie's list at first, but I wasn't quite sure how to find the right contractor. After reading endless reviews about how great Joseph was, we decided to give him a shot. He was extremely responsive from the start and came and gave us an estimate on the job. The price was very reasonable, and the time frame he gave us was much less than what we expected too. Joseph came the day after we closed on our house and worked around the clock (nearly 12 hour days, including weekends). He was at my house by 6am most mornings. He was very responsive to calls, texts, etc. The most important part however, was that Joseph and Tommy's work and craftsmanship was top notch. I am extremely particular, and I wasn't able to find anything wrong with their work. If you're on the fence about finding a contractor or handyman, do not hesitate to call Joseph, I promise you will not be disappointed. We'll definitely be using his services again in the future, and have already recommended him to multiple friends.

They ripped out all of the shelving and hardware, spackled, painted interior, installed & painted bi-fold doors. They were punctual , efficient, neat - it turned out perfect. I would definitely hire Joe again. The price included the doors and was well worth the money.

Joe and Tom came over and in no time, or so it seemed, the bedroom had crown moulding in it and it looked gorgeous. I would recommend and use them again. Thanks.

Just purchased a new home and started to make a few upgrades. Joe responded same day and setup an appt. for a estimate. Proposal was sent over and the work was done after everything was finalized. The craftsmanship is exactly what we were looking for, I believe we found our carpentry we would use for any work we need.Highly recommend and will refer to all friends and family

I thought I would be looking at a whole new door and frame but Joe and Tom came over and were able to cut out and repair the frame at a fraction of the cost. They were prompt, courteous and professional. Very satisfied

Amazingly, the paneling looks just as good as it did before. I'd expected there to be some sign that it had been sawed through/taken apart, but Joe figured out a way to remove a section so that the work wouldn't show in the end. He had to remove lots of little pieces of trim as part of this, and numbered them so there wouldn't be a mixup while putting them back together. They came to the house quickly too - which was important because there was no heat in that part of the house until the pipe could be fixed. The work went went faster than I expected, and the price was very reasonable. Very happy with the result.

They were prompt, courteous and experienced. They were considerate and left everything neat. Being carpentry is there speciality, I will definitely hire them again to do a future job in my dining room.

I found Joe on Angie's List, and first had him repair the front porch at my father's house. Reasonable price, great job, done quickly. Within a week, a plumbing issue required extensive inside ceiling, drywall, tile and electric work. The place was a mess, and I had to manage the project from 800 miles away. Joe and team were ready to move into the job as soon as the plumbers were done, and did a great job. Joe is great to work with, very responsive, and I know I will be asking for his help again on future projects at the house.

Found Joe on Angie's list as we are new to LI. We just needed the wall painted in the bedrooms - not the trim or the ceilings. He was my third quote, and his price was very reasonable for what we needed. He was very prompt in getting back to me and was very professional. We ended up having him do other areas of the house while he was there. He really worked hard, had a professional team with him and is a really good guy. I would hire him again for any home improvement project we have come up. We already referred him to someone for additional work.

Called to get a price on a pocket door install. Had to call and email several times to finally get the estimate and when I did it was nearly double of the other estimates received by Angie's list contractors. I tried to contact him to see what kind of kit he was using , maybe it was better and more expensive than the other contractors and he just decided to ignore me. Not very responsive or professional.

Joseph does great work, very professional, very responsive via text and e-mail, upfront and honest about timing, left house in good order after I was done, all work looks great 2 months later, very happy with services and would definitely use again.

Joe showed up for an estimate, just as he'd promised. We scheduled a day to start, but the weather was bad, so we had to reschedule. Joe showed up as promised, bright and early with two additional carpenters and an assistant. They knocked out most of the job before the end of the day, working very professionally, covering all the furniture and cleaning up. Joe came back the next day, with his assistant, and finished the spackling and painting. $3200 was not supposed to cover painting, but Joe threw it in because the job was easier than he anticipated. When was the last time a contractor did that? Now the room is nice and bright and the skylight looks like it was always there. Couldn't be more pleased. We're sure to use Joe again.

This was my first time using Angie's list and I could not be happier because I found Joe! He and his crew are awesome! He called me right away and came over immediately to check out the job. it was very obvious he was very knowledgeable and a talented carpenter. A few days later he installed crown and base molding in our bedroom and it is perfect!! The craziest thing is that they were done in exactly 1 HOUR! I could not believe it. They promptly cleaned up and they were gone. So friendly and courteous. Really I am so pleased with the whole experience. Joe will from now on be my go-to guy for projects in my home.

I found Joe on Angie's list. I've been in the area for 30 years and have not been able to find a good "hand man" that would do all sorts of jobs (large or small) until Joe and his team. What a great find. I called Joe on Friday and described the job., he gave me an estimate on the spot and stuck to it. Joe scheduled the appointment with me on Saturday for the work to be done on Monday - could not have asked for better turn around. He came over Monday afternoon with an assistant and started working right away. Of course I identified a few other items to be done but Joe was extremely cooperative and said no problem. He came by Tuesday afternoon and (again I asked for more to be done) and told him it would be fine to do the extra work another day. He did it all on Tuesday. The price was extremely reasonable for the work done: removing a built in book case and wall in the basement, moving an electrical control panel for in ground sprinkler system, painting door frame and sills. He and his team cleaned up after themselves, were on time, quick, and very neat and professional. They were great to work with. I wish I had found Just Right Carpentry years ago. I am extremely happy with their work. Do not hesitate to use this company - they really do mean to satisfy.

Provider was very cooperative in scheduling an installation date around my work schedule. He arrived on-time with all materials needed for the installation of the crown molding. He matched the new molding to existing molding and it looks amazing. He was pleasant to work with and I would hire him again without any second thoughts. I have already recommended this contractor to a couple of friends. A+

Joe was great from the start! I called after coming across his info on Angie's List and he said he was in the area and could stop by for an estimate within the hour. His price was more than fair given the quality of his work. He was easy to communicate with and contact via text messaging. He showed up when he said he would, and came with 2 other men who completed the job quickly. Everything was cleaned up prior to them leaving. I will absolutely be using Just Right Carpentry in the future!

They were very good. They came in got the job done and removed all debris. They moved everything back the way it was. I am hoping to have some cabinets installed by them also.

We have been so happy with the work that was done. It was done well and it was so easy to deal with Joe. He got back to me quickly whether by phone, email or text. During the project he sent me pictures or video of the progress so I could see the work. The crew was nice and cleaned up after the project was done. I especially like that he told me to keep track of anything that I am not happy with after he left so he can come back to fix it. That pride of workmanship is hard to find. Highly recommened. I have already given their name and number to some friends. I would use them again without a question.

Joe showed up for a review of what I wanted done, quite promptly.....however after he requested a picture of the mantle I wanted and I emailed it to him I never heard back. I have called 4 separate times, he promised that he was getting prices on materials. Finally I asked for a response if he was interested in the project or not either way ....I never heard back. Very disappointing!

They came on time, very happy with the installation, and clean up after. Overall excellent service!
