 + -1 moreI left a voicemail message for John on Friday. John called Friday evening and scheduled a site visit for Saturday. He called prior to the scheduled appointment to confirm that I would be home and arrived on time. On close examination of the problem area, accessed by ladder and through an attic window, he felt confident that he knew that the problem was the stepped flashing and the roof shingles being cut too short. With some materials that I had on-hand, he was able to make the repairs on the spot in an hour's time. After a week of dry weather, we've had a week of rain including some very intense storms - no leaks and no damage, nothing but total satisfaction.
Description of Work: Repair of a roof leak.

Description of Work: We had a leak in our roof coming through our kitchen whenever it rained. For weeks we have been calling roofers & roof repair people. Some never returned calls. Some blew us off. Some showed up, gave an estimate & never came back. The gentlemen from J&C Roofing called back within 30 minutes, arrived shortly thereafter, tested the roof, running a hose over various parts to narrow down the leak and then said he would come by the next morning to fix it. Early on a Saturday morning he hopped up on our roof, repaired the damage in less than an hour & would not take any money for the work. He only left several business cards & asked that we tell our friends about his business. I practically begged him to take some money & he would not. I don't know how often in life I will need a a roofer, but J&C Roofing will forever be my company of choice!
