It was an excellent experience. He also repaired a heating unit for me. If you are looking for the most reliable, he's the one. If you are looking for the cheapest, don't call them.

Given the cold temps here in NY I wasn't certain that I would have any one fix my boiler the same day as my initial call. Blit had a plumber here within 2 hours - during this period no other plumber had even returned my call. They were professional and explained the problem. As for the cost I am assuming that it was reasonable-I have nothing to compare it to. They were at my home for approximately 1 hours and replaced two parts. I would certainly use them again without hesitation.

Those guys are really awesome. They guy didn't change the whole burner; the burner was relatively new so they changed only the system. They were really good.

Called him on Friday in response to my problem, it was leaking down my driveway. He came a week before when we heard the leak, but he (we) couldn't tell where the leak was! He told me Monday,, I wanted it done on Saturday but.... Monday came and he called early that he would not come today, but tuesday. All in all they came, dug a hole about 6 feet deep in my front lawn and replaced the pipe that was leaking. Clean and fixed it, all good!

this is my first bad review EVER and Mr. Blit really deserved it. I updated my master bathroom nov 2012. tally and lucy sent two nice workers who gave me cost quote and schedule a date for the work. when they actually finish the work, Mr. Blit raised the cost from 160 each faucet to 200 each faucet. Since I was satisfied with the workers overall attitude ; therefore, I decide not to even ask about the 80 dollars ( 2 faucets) difference does not seem to be major issue for the potential long term relationship.) I was also interested in the generator which Mr. Blit came to my house for cost quote... that is when e situations got worse.. first of all, he refused walking into my house. because I offered him a pair of new surgical shoe covers. ( I got toddlers and baby at home so we keep the floors very clean) I even offered to put on the cover for him. after he came into my house, he had no interest hearing about what I as a consumer wanted to be done, was cutting me off in a very abrupt manner... I had to asked my husband to speak with him to finish the generator estimate ( and noted that he really speak to a MAN somewhat more respectful ! how strange ....) We decided later to redo two bathrooms instead & since I did liked his workers & his warranty for one year for workmanship ... I called for estimates. I did reflect to Kallie and lucy my concerns about " difficulty of communication because maybe I am a female & not a native speaker.. (which I do not care to take it personal... I even thought it is funny because mr. b has a very heavy accent himself ... I got enough confidence about my English since everyone else in my life understands me well and my works requires clear and frequent communications ...) As a result of our communication, kellie offered to come with her father for estimate. Again, Mr. B refused to came into my house for the same reason, his own daughter had to talked him into being reasonable. he was again rude but thank god that his daughter was easy to speak with and made everything possible to go through punch list quickly... ( I went extra effort and had given a copy of punch list to him and his daughter which kept things clear.) when i received his price quote, I was very confused by Mr. Blit estimate with all the plumber jargon ... I called and clarify & finalized for the estimate and booked date to start. the worker arrived that day and determine that estimate was incorrect, but, Mr. Blit wanted me to signed and pay half before his workers were allowed to start the work. I offered to pay half so workers can start but I was told that I not allowed to write onto the contract... and my effort to correct the contract difference ( details ... and again, i was fine paying little more just to keep my project moving) resulting Mr. blit yelling at his workers to leave & " not to waste their time at my house" the workers told me that the office will called to reschedule as they left. I waited two weeks and follow up with office that is when I was told by kellie that mr. Blit had no intention to call me back & reschedule. which I wished they would just told me earlier & not wasting my time. So, I went back to angie list and found myself another plumber next day who is nice and happens to be 800 cheaper than his quote. who I will use again & recommend too. I was glad in a way that Mr. Blit had forced me to use someone else. which otherwise I normally am too busy to do so. about their one year warranty? it is a joke. my faucet had minor issue six month after installation. Mr. Blit " yelled at " me that unless it is his own part ( I always choose and buy my own parts from Huntington plumbing store. ) he can not honor the warranty. to sum up, if you are a female or not speaking English perfectly ... you are NOT qualify to be his customer. if you are a guy & speak perfect English, you are qualify to use his service but remember to let him buy all your supply in order for he to honor his one year warranty... I think Mr. Blit shall retire.. His workers shall open their own plumber service & they will be successful without having a boss yelling at them.

Called mid-afternoon for service. They were at my home in 30 minutes and finished with the sink trap replacement within an hour and a half. Very professional, kept area clean and dry, and cleaned up after their work was completed. Thoroughly satisfied. I will definitely be using Blits Plumbing again!

They were very very good and excellent. I liked everything. They were polite, reasonable in price, on time, everything. It's hard to find a company like them.

Very detailed on what his intentions were. Seemed very professional. UNTIL I asked who would be doing the work. I am very fussy and if you come here I expect you to be doing the work. He skirted around the issues until I asked directly if he would be picking his workers up off the corner in town where the illegals hang out. He told me yes, but they were here legally. If you pick them up off the street how would you know?? I asked if any of them are licensed plumbers he told me NO but he would show them what to do. REALLY????? But wasn't I being charged for a plumber? I asked him to leave. BUYER BEWARE - Know the right questions to ask before you hire anyone. You may think you are hiring a plumber but what you get is some stranger off the street with no license and a big headache.

I called three plumbers on your list at 7:30 saturday morning with two sinks inoperable and one bathtub draining slowly. Couldn't wash dishes or brush teeth, needed help NOW!!!! Thanks to Angie's List I found three names that were in my area and called. Blits was the first call back at 8am. The rest called but much later than Blits. I think Mr. Tsafrir Blit called me back himself and asked what I needed. He listened and told me someone would be there before 12 the cavalry arrived at 10 am. AWESOME!!!! They quickly came in and asked what the problem was; they quickly evaluated the situation, broke it down, including worse case scenario. (Of course in these situations the worse case scenario always somehow materializes) NOT THIS TIME!!!! They gave me a price and quickly got to work. Bing-Bam-Boom they were done in an hour and half and went the extra mile by unclogging a drain in the basement. They charged me exactly what they quoted and best of all, no worst case scenario. WOW!!! I found me a plumber!!!! Yep, goes without saying, they'll be back. This house was built in 1956, coming back is inevitable but I will make sure it will be Blit Plumbing that will do the work. Great job guys, and i mean everyone including you, Angie's List. It's like having a neighbor you trust.

They were knowledgeable, courteous and professional. I would definitely use them again. I plan to do so in the very near future and will have them replace bathroom fixtures (toilets, sinks, faucets),

They are the best plumbing company I have had here in NY. They had a flexible schedule for our appointment and arrived on time, they even got the project done in a timely manner.

After trying to get several plumbers to come(or even return a call) I contacted Blits Plumbing( who I saw on Angies List.) I was pleasantly surprised to have my call answered by a person who took my information and made an appointment for the following day. The men showed up on time , were courteous and professional and completed the repair to my satisfaction. I would definitely use this company again.

Blits Plumbing & Heating, Inc were fine, I thought they were a bit expensive but they came when they said they would and they fixed. I had called someone else who said they couldn't fix the slow flow toilet that I had. They were professional and they cleaned up after themselves, I have no complaints and I am intending to use them again as I have another plumbing issue. I told them what the problem was and the make and model of the toilet before they came and they came with the part and replaced it, they were good.

I liked him because he was very nice and straightforward. He did the job in a timely manner and finished the job in a reasonable amount of time. He did a good job. Their price is reasonable and not too high.

He is truly a professional. I had called 10 plumbers. Only two responded. When I call Blitz he had someone to answer the phone. He called me right back. He came the same day. I had water everywhere and didn't know who to call, so I called on Angie's List. Angie's list gave me plumbers in my area. I called three of the plumbers on the list. Blitz was quick in returning my call. Very professional, and even gave me an estimate, give or take a few dollars. We set up a time for the men from Blitz to come and they were on time! The men finished the work well, and quickly! The men picked up after themselves and didn't leave a mess for me to clean up! I was impressed, and I will call on them again if I ever needed work to be done!

They came the same day I called, performed the work well and were very courteous & professional. I was very satisfied.

First, I emailed Steve Lauschus Plumbing on Sunday afternoon. He emailed back that he would call me in the morning (Monday.) When I didn't hear from him, I called Blit's, left a message and got a call back within minutes. I described the problem; Callie told me the basic price for service (130.00 plus parts, etc.) and told me that the men would arrive later. After I hung up with her, she called me back to say that they were on their way if it was ok with me. It was. The men were courteous, professional, neat, and fast. They were done within a half-hour. The work and parts, they told me, have a year's guarantee.
