Aventine Properties started out helping Suffolk and Nassau homeowners in 2003. Case by case, it became clear that the average homeowner was not aware that they could fight an unfair assessment. After having done very successful grievances in Suffolk and Nassau, we expanded to the north and today we are helping homeowners in a dozen New York State counties: Columbia, Delaware, Dutchess, Greene, Nassau, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Suffolk, Sullivan, Ulster, and Westchester.

Description of Work: Aventine is a property tax grievance consultant who specializes in representing property owners in an attempt to reduce property taxes. They were successful in having my property taxes reduced by 25%. Their one time fee is 1/2 of what they are able to save me on the first year's taxes plus filing fee. They were able to get my taxes reduced in less than two months even though I was told that it might take several months.

they were successful in getting my taxes substantially reduced. I am currently awaiting a refund which I was told by the county office would come from Aventine. They said that they would try to expedite this refund.
Description of Work: I am still in the process of working with this firm. They offer assistance in getting your real estate tax reduced. It is a lengthy process and I won't know the outcome for several months. However, so far there service has been satisfactory.
