Artie & Mike are simply the best. I used them to: 1) Build a LARGE extension to my house and redo my entire kitchen and dining room. The job was completed on time and on budget. Throughout the process Artie was transparent & professional. EVERY person who has stepped into my house has complimented at the detailed perfection. 3) Artie built us a custom walk in pantry 2) Built 2 large decks in the backyard as well as an outdoor shower. This project was completed on time, on budget while exceeding all expectations. Arthur gave us a fair and competitive estimate and was able to start work quickly thereafter. He and his team did an excellent job gutting and totally remodeling two bathrooms and a closet as well as redoing some of the wood flooring, moving vents, and moving hallways. Arthur himself was at the home everyday and did the important work himself. He also went the extra mile in helping us with small projects around the major project as they came up. He was extremely responsive in provided us with timely updates. When complications occurred (due to the house having not been renovated in 40 years) he was clear and helpful in keeping the project on schedule. He was extremely honest and I trusted him to be alone in my house for weeks on end with his team. I would/plan to work with Arthur again in the future for my home renovation projects.

Contacted Mr DeRosa for an estimate and he agreed to come to my house and give an estimate. He arrived promptly at the time we decided on. Immediately I noticed that he had no mask on (while we are in the middle of a pandemic) I had mine so I didn’t make it an issue. I asked him to cover his shoes or remove them because we do not wear shoes in our home at which time he responded,“how am I supposed to do the work if I take my shoes off”. I then responded that I would hope the floors would be covered while they were back and forth in the house. Mr. DeRosa then abruptly stated that he didn’t think he was the right fit for the job and walked away. Totally unprofessional. I will gladly spend my money with another contractor.

Mr. DeRosa and his assistant did a wonderful job. His suggestions were great and so was his workmanship, and the cost was reasonable. The tile work (walls and floor) is especially wonderful. I don't think that it gets any better than this. My master bathroom is beautiful.

I can't recommend enough this contractor. They exceeded our expectations in every way. Arti gave recommendations that made the process smooth and did everything and more we asked. Project was completed on time and within the budget that was quoted. We found our contractor for many projects in the future. A+++

This is the 2nd major project I contracted Art DeRosa & Co for. The 1st being 4 years ago a major living room/family room renovation which was hugely successful. That 1st experience led me to award Art (after several other competitive quotes) this 2nd and far larger & more complex project. Overall it went well but this was a complicated project encompassing all the typical trades and expertise of building a new luxury house but far more complicated because it was a renovation performed while we were living in the home. Dust partition walls with wood framing had to be erected in several locations in the house which included temporary doors for entering and egress in certain areas of the remaining living areas of the house in order to protect the remaining house from dust and demolition , as well as, provide privacy for us during construction. Experience, Experience, Experience and Professionalism, Professionalism, Professionalism are the hallmarks of Art DeRosa and company. He is a seasoned performer and pretty much seen it all. Art has such a vast amount of home construction experience in both hi-end and medium end homes that he can draw upon a wealth of knowledge in all construction disciplines to implement a fine finished result. As a former tool and die maker his penchant for hi-precision finish work yields highest quality appearances to things like moldings; trim; windows; doors; floors; etc. etc. This complex renovation project lasted 7 months which was within the initial time estimate given at the beginning and Art DeRosa and team were here every single day, day in and day out, bright and early during that time frame. He did not start any other projects and stayed on the job day-in and day-out even when other sub-contractors such as plumbers and electricians were on the job site excluding his people from doing any other work. Art DeRosa and team were here every single day until final signoff. I would not hesitate to recommend Art DeRosa & Co for any planned New House and/or House Renovation of any kind.

The job went as planned. Mr. DeRosa continued to inform us about any concerns he had regarding the project as it moved forward. Mr. DeRosa understands that keeping on budget was important to us and made valuable suggestions to keep finances on target without compromising our tastes. He is a master craftsman, who transformed our kitchen to our dream kitchen! His attention to detail is impeccable and his knowledge base is outstanding. Mr. DeRosa and his team are professional, trustworthy, personable, and easy to approach with questions and/or concerns about the project at hand. We have used Mr. DeRosa on multiple occasions and have no reservations about using him again. We highly recommend him!

Quite a few years ago, Artie renovated our bathroom. Not only did he do a super job, but he made so many helpful suggestions along the way making decision making much easier. For example, he suggested the type of tub to install and ones to avoid. He helped us order merchandise and we were able to get a contractor's discount! Recently we wanted to add a stone grilling station and a gazebo to our yard. Everything I shopped for, I did not like or it was way over priced.....Artie sat with me and helped design a BEAUTIFUL, river rock-blue slate grilling station. Once again, he directed me where to get the grill, type of grill, what to avoid and what would look best. He takes the time to listen and know exactly what the customer is looking for. He made everything by hand and the result shows....We get so many compliments from it! He is currently completing a Tiki Hut Bar/Gazebo........when it came to ordering the tiki hut straw for the roof, Artie took it upon himself to google information online and forward me what he had found.....this made it so much easier on my part! The bar came out great!!! Not only is Artie extremely talented, but he is so easy to work with, is very professional,responsible and shows up for a job when he says he will.....when do you ever get that????? I HIGHLY recommend Artie Derosa!!

Artie is the consummate contractor. He can do it all and does it well. His carpentry skills are superb. He is smart, reliable and trustworthy. He is meticulous and exacting. His estimates are right on the mark and his prices are fair. He goes above and beyond in every way and freely gives advice about all home-related issues. He was a pleasure to work with and have in our home.
