The job is beautiful. He wants his work to show well - so he decided to black mulch the area behind the wall that he installed at no cost to us. This man takes pride in his work (and rightfully so). Highly recommended!

He was terrific, my knight in shining armor. He came to my house though it was Labor Day weekend---I think his family was even waiting in the car because they'd been on their way out---and one glance told him that an amateur could do better than what he was trying to walk on to reach my front door. He was so kind and patient as to get down on his knees and try to teach ME how to teach this contractor, how he might learn to use a straightedge to try doing a better job. He gave me a reasonable estimate for professional-level workmanship. He even followed up with calls to me, because he was concerned by what I'd told him about the contractor's threatening attitude. (I haven't moved forward yet, because we've begun dispute resolution.) I would certainly hire Anthony Peter in the future, what a nice and knowledgeable man, who was willing to go out of his way to try to make things right for me.

I needed a brick walkway repair and called two masons before calling Anthony. One could not be bothered with a small job and the other never returned my call. Anthony came for an estimate over the weekend and, as promised, fit my job in a few days later. He went beyond our agreement and sanded the walkway and secured a loose brick high on the house. His work was amazing--the walk never looked this good, even when it was new. I could not be more pleased.

Extremely satisfied. Responded quickly, very accomodating to our schedule and was very thorough in his evaluation of what needed to be done. Arrived promptly and worked proffesionally and meticulously, with a keen eye for detail making our patio look brand new. Truly a perfectionist at extremely competitive prices. Would highly reccomend him for any job big or small.

At our first meeting with Anthony concerning this project, Anthony spent an extensive amount of his time answering our questions, giving us suggestions, and explaining the process. He gave us locations in our area to view his work and brought us samples of materials to help us decide on our design. He gave us a tentative date for the job to begin and was able to begin the job on schedule. Due to a previous mason?s slipshod work on the old walkway, Anthony found that the removal of the previous walkway involved removal of an extensive amount of cement pieces. He also found it necessary to remove large roots from a tree that had been previously removed in the area. In preparing the walkway, he also needed to remove and relevel the adjacent grass areas so that the pitch of the walkway would be correct. The job became a much bigger job than he had expected but Anthony and his worker worked tirelessly and cheerfully everyday till the job was complete. We truly have never seen anyone put such care and genuine pride into every aspect of his work like Anthony. He was meticulous! For example, when he was going to reuse our cobblestones (as per our agreement), Anthony didn?t like how beat up they looked against the beautiful walkway he had created, so he bought new ones (no extra cost to us). In addition, he and his helper spent a good part of the last day of this project on cleanup, removal of all debris, raking, spreading extra topsoil and mulch to areas on my property that had to be releveled. (again at no extra cost). We will definitely call Anthony for any future masonry work we might have and have already recommended him highly to several of our neighbors and friends.

The workmanship was excellent. They showed up early everyday and made sure that they cleaned up every night before they left. Anthony was always willing to listen to any questions I had and his suggestions were very helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

Anthony sized up the work a few months earlier and gave us an estimate. He promised to work our small job into his calendar when he was less busy. This worked fine for us. When Sandy hit, we got a little nervous that Anthony's schedule would fill up with big jobs. So we called to follow up. He was very responsive and assured us that he hadn't forgotten his promise. A date was scheduled and he stuck to it. He worked the project with one assistant and it came out great.

Aside from weather delays which could not be helped, everything was fine.

I could not be more pleased with the work that was done. I cannot wait for spring so that we can replace our back patio. I have already recommended Anthony to several people who in turn recommended him to others. You will not be disappointed with this company. Anthony does the work himself - no sub-contracting here. He came up with ideas that we never even considered. The work was done on time and the front of the house was cleaner after he finished than it was before he started.

He was wonderful and very knowledgeable. He knew what he was doing and there was no pressure.

Anthony Peter Masonry gave me an itemized estimate. I knew I wasn't going to use him, because he was going to charge me $8,000 for a blacktop driveway. He was able to justify what he was doing, but the price was to much. He came on time. I will not use him, because the price was out of this world.

I joined Angie's List to find some good mason's. This one came with good reviews so I went to his website and then emailed him. Not once, but twice. I never got a reply, thus the F in responsiveness and professionalism. If I can't get an answer to my emails, there's a good indication of who I ma dealing with

Anthony replaced our delapadated front stairs and landing. He also sanded, repainted and installed the railings.He had listened to what we wanted, and didn't bully us into doing something different, or something "bigger and better".We wanted simple brick & mortar work that matched the brick work on the front of our house and he did just that,making everything look new and clean. The rows of brick are even and level.We also wanted a new look for the bottom landing, and he gave us good suggestions. He incorporated the design of the sidewalk stones that we have on the opposite side of our driveway into the landing. Now both sides complement one another. He and his partner came every day they said they would, and kept in contact via cell phones when needed.He cleaned up after each day's work, making the driveway and surrounding area look as if no one had ever been working there.We are very pleased with Anthony's work, and would recommend him highly. He is very professional and knows his stuff. No complaints on this job.

Anthony promptly kept his appointment for an estimate and wrote it out in detail while he was still at our home. He took his time to write down specifically what he would do and estimated the job would take approximately 2 days. His estimate of cost was fair and competitive. He was very polite and not at all pushy, in fact suggesting that if we couldn't afford to complete the two projects (porch in front and walkway for the back patio), we could do one now and the other at another time. He estimated both parts separately so we could choose. Anthony scheduled our job about a week after we gave him the OK. He and his helper arrived on the job when promised. Our front porch had loose bluestone pieces - and the entire porch seemed to sag in the middle, enabling water to collect and ruin the bottom edge of some of our house shingles. In removing the loose bluestone from the front porch, Anthony found a cracked cement porch underneath the bluestone which had led to the sagging. He reset the bluestone pieces so that the water would now flow away from the house. He was extremely careful and neat, taking care to protect our new driveway and front walkway. In addition, he would not accept payment until everything was cleaned up properly - despite the fact that he had to return in the morning of the 3rd day in order to do it.
