I got VERY lucky when John Peterson agreed to work with me. He has a great understanding of historic houses, and constantly impressed me by noticing 'old house issues' and having a clear sense of what it would take to fix them (both engineering-wise and financially). He understood what I was looking for, kept in close contact throughout the process, and made sure I didn't miss any interesting new listings that fit my criteria. I really felt like he was on my side every step of the way and had all the qualities you could possibly want in a realtor. John's communication and negotiation skills are excellent, and he was incredibly on-point while making sure to connect everyone on the buying team (mortgage/insurance people, lawyer, etc.) and keep us on track, all the way until the Closing. I knew I could count on his perspective and honesty, and he went way above and beyond the call of duty many times, even calling 9 home inspectors until he found one who could come out at the very last minute. That allowed us to meet a nearly impossible deadline. Besides his project management experience and construction knowledge, John is also a really great and trustworthy person. Going to see potential properties together was always very comfortable. John is open-minded, comfortable with all sorts of people, smart, and kind. He helped us navigate a very complicated situation effectively and I'm not sure another realtor would have been able to pull off this complicated sale. I'm recommending him to everyone I know!

2 months ago, we decided to look for a house in Hudson New York. We found our Realtor, Trevor Moran from The Truss Group with a google search. How lucky for us. Trevor took us on a tour of Hudson, showing us the houses we had picked out and educated us on the culture, places to go and overall pulse of Hudson. At the end of the day, Trevor showed us a home that was about to go on the market; an 1850 Victorian in the heart of the village that is walking distance to restaurants shops and all Hudson has to offer. We fell In love. Trevor listened to everything we had told him. He is skilled at taking the important parts of what wanted, and presented back opportunities that we loved because he got what we wanted absolutely right. Since our purchase, Trevor has been consistently available to offer us advice on everything from choosing contractors to legal services for our purchase. He is amazing. Trevor is the best Realtor I have ever worked with.

After seeing a piece of property on Zillow that I was interested in, I was quickly contacted by Joseph from The Truss Group, offering to show me the property and answer any questions I had. We met up a day or so later and walked the property together while discussing the vision I had in mind for the land. I came with a lot of questions and Joseph was super easy to talk with, very personable, eager to help, and also very knowledgeable about the area we were in. While this property did not end up being the right fit for my vision and I didn't pursue the search further because it's not an immediate need or goal, I feel so happy that I made a great contact for future property interests. Searching for the home I intend to spend the rest of my life in was a big challenge. Selecting the right Realtor is important; in my experience, your choice can make or break the deal. Trevor Moran from the Truss Group is the realtor I selected online and called. I told Trevor of my desire to buy a house in Hudson. Travel from Florida was complicated due to COVID-19. Trevor suggested he take me to the homes I wanted to see while we face timed. Trevor spent his Saturday showing me Hudson. He educated me on the Real Estate market in Hudson and answered all my questions. At the end of the day, I went into contract to purchase an 1850 Victorian in Heart of the Village. The confidence and trust i had in Trevor made me comfortable that doing this was the right thing. It was like having an extension of me doing the work to ensure this deal closing. Trevor is on top of his business. When you are with him, it is evident, you are high priority and his goal is to get you what you want. I have bought and sold 8 houses in my lifetime. Trevor is the best realtor I have ever worked with. I highly recommend him.

Joe was a phenomenal realtor to work with during my home buying process in Hudson, NY.
