+ -1 moreI started to call the SP to advised him what happened and asked for a copy of warranty that supposed to give me but I didn't receive it. My husband just died and have a leaking roof. After they did the roof I think is excellent but after 2 years I started to notice the soot on my house. Tried to call them but the SP is not returning the call.
Description of Work: They are going to replace the main roof of the house. They came to me and said that the chimney is falling down so they said that they need to remove the chimney. They covered all the area whre the chimney was and they just put firewood and the roofing materials over the chimney that they removed. They didn't ask permission to go down to the basement to see if anything is vented on that the chimney. They told me that it will cost $3000 more than the estimate and I said fine. nothing happens until this January 2021 I notice black soot all over the house and I can't seem to understand where it came from and I don't have an idea so in April 2021 I asked my neighbor who is contractor and asked why i have black soot all over my house so my neighbor who is a contractor went down to the basement he found out that there's a carbon monoxide.
