They have installers that work for them. I don't know if they have employees. It was five years, no interest. I don't remember being upset about it.

They were supposed to replace carpeting on outdoor steps. When they installed the carpeting, they told me that they needed a mason when they ripped up the carpeting; they cracked the landing on two parts of the stairway, and then expected me to get a mason to fix it. The mason gave me an estimate over $1000. They took the rod-iron railing off?which was not necessary to do and did not get permission to do so. They claimed it was rusted?which was a lie. They said they did not have anyone who was qualified to put the railing back, and they refused to pay to have the railing on. I asked for estimates to have the railing installed and they refused every estimate?saying it was too high. This all happened just before winter 2011. Fortunately there was no snow accumulation and that we had a mild winter. They did not finish the job of putting down the carpet or anything. I contacted the BBB, and an arbitration meeting was arranged, but they backed out. They are not answering phone calls or anything! Two weeks ago I had the railing installed myself. It cost 770.00 to have it installed. The BBB told me that the company agreed to pay $400.00. I told them to just send me the check and I never want to deal with them again. It was very, very stressful for all these months dealing with this.
Description of Work: I hired them to recarpet the outdoor stairs.

Response from WAREHOUSE CARPET OUTLET INC
Went to install carpet - her concrete was a mess, could not install over it - Removed 50!! year old railing, for better install. Railing is rusted and couldn't be put back on. I have pictures showing this. Customer got estimates to fix - too high - We got a contractor to do at our expense for $400. No cost to her. He called to do it - she said don't bother - she had someone else to do it. I gave her $400 which is what it should have cost to fix railing - We feel paying $400 for a 50 year old railing is more than fair.
