 + 0 moreIt took a bit to get an appointment because of my schedule but Robert was very nice and he went out of his way to accommodate my schedule. He and his staff were very professional and did a great job. They figured out the most cost effective route to take that was also very attractive. They were also very efficient time wise and were able to get the lights installed, the necessary rewiring done and the mess cleaned up in a few hours. The lighting looks great and is now energy saving LED lights.
Description of Work: The lighting in our kitchen needed to be redone. The house is old and there were, it turned out, code violations that could have led to a fire.

 + -1 moreIt went very well. My wife called on a Thursday and explained that we had a party in our yard planned with lots of people on Saturday and our outdoor lights were not working. They came early the next morning and took care of the problem and their crew worked very quickly and neatly. Second time we used them and will continue too.

He has performed an electrical repair to my service entrance and also ran new service to a new building. He also performed repairs on our central air conditioning unit. His prices are fair for the quality work you get. His communication was good, and he was punctual and finished the work within the estimated time. He is a reliable and trustworthy electrician who I would not hesitate to use in the future.

 + 2 moreR Costa Electric Inc was on time, he really went out of his way to do the job with the kitchen lighting, he was able to put the lighting where we wanted without putting holes in it. I was happy with his service. He referred us to someone else when he couldn't do a job for us and the person he referred us to was also very good.
Description of Work: I used R Costa Electric Inc. He installed a flat screen TV, he installed new lighting in my kitchen and he installed a general link so you can hook your generator directly to it. He also fixed my generator under warranty.

 + 0 moreRob did an excellent job including removing and replacing a couple of 29 year old valves that were frozen in place. Overall I was very pleased with Rob's work, his professionalism, his attention to detail, his creative solution to a tough problem, reasonable charges and great sense of humor. I would not hesitation to hire him again or recommend him to other potential customers.
Description of Work: Rob serviced our heat pump system; checked and charged and changed a couple of Schrader valves. Also had him install a Generlink unit to our electrical meter panel.

Description of Work: I left a message with R Costa Electric regarding a ralatively small repair problem. Within a couple of hours he was back to me. The same day he was out to investigate the problem and offered a couple of solutions. The next day he called to say he had found the necessary part and gave me the price of the part. Two days later he called and apologized for not getting back to me sooner, but his supplier of parts had let him down as far as delievery of the part was concerned. Later that afternoon he was back, had the part installed, and everything worked fine. As an example of his conscientiousness, he had a container of parts which he refused to put on the bumper of my car because it had a metal bracket on it and he was concerned that it might scratch my car. Very reliable and professional service.

 + 0 moreThis is the 3rd time I have used RC Electric and as always it went well. This time around my furnace/central air was not working. Rob discovered that the central air blower motor was not operating, causing the breaker to trip. He made several phone calls finding an Emerson motor, which saved me approximately $200,00 on a motor. Response time was great, job was completed in a timely manner, cleaned up after and removed/disposed of damaged motor. Great job at a great price!!!!
Description of Work: Tripped breaker to furnace caused by bad blower motor. Diagnosed same and replaced/repaired motor.
