Description of Work: I needed some work done in my bathroom. I called HV Deck and Wall to set up a time to get an estimate for wallpaper removal, drywall repair, and painting. I spoke to Al and he told me it wasn't convenient for him to talk at that time and asked me to send him an e-mail with my information. I immediately sent him the e-mail with the information he requested. Six days later he got back to me and we set up an appointment for the next day. He arrived right on time and was extremely polite. He didn't flinch when he saw the damage on my walls and he even took his shoes off when he entered my house. He spent approximately 15 minutes measuring and when he was done we spoke again about my possible options. I wasn't sure if I was going to paint the room myself once the wallpaper was down and the walls were repaired so I asked him for an estimate for either possibility. He asked me to give him a couple of days and said he'd get back to me with an estimate either by phone (his preferred method of contact) or by e-mail. When I didn't hear from him after 10 days I called and e-mailed him asking when I could expect his estimate. I never received any response from him, and it has been more than three weeks since our initial contact.

 + -1 moreAl was extremely attentive and responsive from the first time I called him in the Fall. He promptly provided references when I asked and they were very positive so I chose to give him our business. As for the painting, I had requested that no-VOC paint be used and he went out of his way to make sure he found the type of eco-friendly paint I had requested and wanted to make sure I was happy at every step of the way. The painters did a great job in the house, were very nice and professional and did a good job cleaning up. I would definitely recommend Al and his team to others.
Description of Work: They painted most of the rooms of our house and a couple ceilings.
