Overall everything went well. Professional service from start to finish. Any questions I had were answered and phone calls were returned promptly.

They did a fantastic job, my home is like new again! Their organizational skills are great. They did an excellent job! The workers were very polite and couldn't do enough for me. I would highly recommend them and will have them back again in the near future.

Came for estimate, purchased all materials, found that additional work needed to be completed, completed all work.

Exceeded expectations! Al was a pleasure to work with, very professional, flexible, cooperative and helpful; he communicated with us well, kept us posted on his schedule, and was prompt. He examined the deck and found it sound, no repairs needed; he powerwashed one day, and returned the following week when we had several sunny days to complete all of the staining and painting in a day-and-a-half... it was a lot of work. He did more painting than we expected, even addressing some adjoining garage trim which resulted in a very finished and attractive result. The deck and surrounding arbor/fencing/attached garage now look beautiful. His team is extremely neat and clean.. not a drop or smudge left behind. Our deck and surrounding areas never looked so good! We highly recommend HV Deck & Wall and look foward to working with Al when we being the interior work on our home.

The owner, Mr. Allen, is very nice to work with. He has got experience and very profesional. He and his crew member did a good job within the budget as quoted. He even did more in some minor repairs as needed without charges. He has been a great help to help me managing my property for rent since I am in Houston Texas. He even offered more painting for a better look than I required. His price is also excellent in comparison with other bids I got. Thank you for a job well done!

I was not satisfied with this and was not willing to pay the extra amoutn so I received a a full refund.

First of all, it was difficult to get a date for him to do the work. I wanted him to paint the ceilings in my living room and foyer area (roughly 400 sq ft of area) and he stated that the Big Deal would only cover the living room area. He then went on stating that the $399.00 that I had paid would end up being a good deal because he has to pay Angie’s List some money, however, he agreed to do this. He then didn’t show up on the day we scheduled the appointment. He then showed up a week later and walked in the house and told us that we owed him a $29.99 for fuel surcharge. He showed up at 8:00am and we argued for approximately 15-20 minutes about the fuel surcharge and I told him to leave at which point he said he would do the job, however, only the living room area and not the foyer area. He ended up painting only the interior ceiling of the living room only and leaving at approximately 3:15pm.

On Tuesday, my wife and I realized that we needed to paint our ceiling ASAP. I called HV Deck & Wall on Wednesday morning and spoke with Al (the owner) about our time crunch and described the project. Al was able to quote immediately on the phone and amazingly, he was available to come before the weekend and complete the work. When I mentioned being an Angie's List member and that my wife and I found him through Angie's, he explained that they were running a promotion at the time and offered me a discount on the spot - I didn't even have to ask! We agreed on the project and finalized the scheduling all during that first call. Al really came to our rescue and the ceiling looks awesome. He was also very personable and had some great stories - all in all, a great experience and we will definitely seek him out for future projects. Thanks Al!

Al, Albert and Eddie were all pleasant and did a great job with the bedroom. They scheduled to my convenience and were prompt. They worked straight through and were able to finish a bit ahead of schedule. The special was a very good value. I would use them again for the quality of their work.

It went well although these guys start early! Like 7 A.M.! - They worked hard though - I mean non-stop painting and they did a great job. I would hire them again!

The owner was present all the time although he did not do much of the work, but the workers were really good. Their price was very good.

.I purchased an Angie's List coupon that was for two painters for a day. The work is scheduled to be done next Wednesday. The price was right. He was able to schedule my job within seven days.

They were very prompt and worked hard. Prepping the area could have been better; although they mopped the floor they could have been better about covering everything more thoroughly with drop cloth. We were over charged $200 until I later pointed out the error (he'd forgotten to deduct the coupon amount already paid). He is going to drop off a check for the amount. Over all, they were good, prompt, and pleasant, but could use improvement in the cleaning-up area. UPDATE: Al dropped off the money we were over charged, and also fixed a couple of scratches on the floor that happened when a dresser was moved. He didn't have to do that - it was very good of him. Also, should note that the over charge was clearly a mistake - not intentional. Want to be clear about that. Also, Al and his 2 workers were always pleasant and prompt.

Al, the owner, came to give me an estimate. We agreed on a date to get the job done. Al and his crew showed up on time, and did a great job taking off the wallpaper without hurting the sheet rock. They then patched the places that needed to be smoothed out, and painted the ceiling. After the patched sections of the walls dried, they painted. The walls were painted a much darker color than the ceiling, and the lines were very straight and professional. I removed a towel rack before the paint job, and I had trouble reattaching it. Al went to get a part and reattached the towel rack. This was above and beyond, and very kind of him. Al and his crew did a very professional job. They showed up on time, worked quickly, and cleaned up after the job. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Overall I was pleased with the deal, but the job was far from perfect.

HV Deck and Wall are true professionals. The men showed up on time every single day, and worked diligently. The wallpaper in the kitchen came off easily, but the foyer and hallway were difficult to remove. The job lasted about 2 weeks,and every day before leaving my house, the men cleaned and mopped the floors. They were respectful, polite, and hardworking. I was extremely pleased with the finished result, and would hire them again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend this company.

Although the wallpaper was removed little pieces remained in crevices and corners. In addition the cleanup of the kitchen was incomplete. I had to clean up the kitchen floor to remove pieces of wallpaper. In addition they got removing chemical on my newly resurfaced and finished hardwood floors. I had to scrub the floor to remove the residue.

I hired this company to remove the wallpaper on some rooms in my house. The walls in the entrance, hall, powder room and Dinning room needed the paper removed, I took care of the Dinning room and they did the rest. To my surprise, the 199.99 deal was only for a limited square footage and I was charged over 1,300.00 dollars for the job minus the dinning room. I was charged another 675.00 since they continued to work on fixing the walls in the hall (which I assumed it was part of the already 1300.00 I paid) and they started to fix some walls in the Livingroom without authorizing the job. I don't recommend this company and when purchasing deals from Angie please read the small prints.

Walls in two bedrooms were severely gouged and damaged after removing wallpaper from unprimed drywall. Called HV Deck & Wall for an estimate to skim coat.. Al arrived at the stated date and time, estimate was fair, work started on time was completed by the stated date (3 days). The walls are now smooth as glass. Punctual, fair, superb workmanship-couldn't ask for more. Will definitely call again.

Al responded quickly to my email and came to give us his estimate. He asked questions about what we wanted and explained that until they start to pull off the wallpaper it is hard to judge how long it might take and if there would be an additional charge. He came back with the estimate promptly and we agreed to his price. He was able to start us within a week for this 2 day job. He picked up the color choices a day ahead and arrived ready to work with 2 painters the next morning at 7:00am. The were quiet, polite and hard-working. They cleaned up at the end of each day and on the second day put the furniture back. We have only good things to say about the 3 of them.

I found HV deck and wall on angies list. We had our living room walls repaired and painted, a hallway and a bedroom painted. We also had window trim, moldings and french doors painted. The owner, Al, was honest, concerned and responsive. I was more than pleased with the plaster repairs. The painting was done carefully and the lines were cut very well. Al and his team were extremely professional, careful and very clean. Every time he said they would come they were on time, and he always called when he said he would. He gave great suggestions and was easy to work with. He always asked if everything was okay and encouraged our feedback. We have to paint more Rooms in the house and plan to call them back this fall. Definetly one of the best vendors we have worked with!

THE PLACE WE BOUGHT WAS A DISASTER. THANKS TO AL AND HIS EMPLOYEES OUR HOME IS NOW BEAUTIFUL AND LOOKS NEW. THEY WERE PROMPT, TRUSTWORTHY, EFFICIENT AND HE ALSO GAVE ME THE BEST RATE. IF YOU ARE THINKING OF USING HV DECK AND WALL LOOK NO FURTHER THEY ARE AWESOME!

I found this company on Angie's List on Monday, April 4th and e-mailed them for an estimate. Mr. Allen e-mailed me back the same day and was available to come out the following day to provide an estimate. He came to my house punctually, took a few minutes to look at the deck and talk to me about what I was looking to do. He called me back about an hour after he left my house to give me my estimate. My husband and I were waiting on an additional estimate from another company so we didn't make a decision for another week, but once we decided on this company, on April 9th, they scheduled the power washing of the deck right away. Mr. Allen called me after the power washing (April 13th) to make sure the deck was to our liking, which it was. The painting of the deck took a little longer, because two days of no rain were needed and unfortunately, the weather was not cooperating with us. During the wait, Mr. Allen did contact me to check in and talk about paint color. Finally, there the weather was cooperating and the deck was able to be completed on the weekend of April 23rd. It looks great and we are very happy with it and we would definitely use them again.

Overall everything went very well. They did the job they came to do and were punctual, efficient, neat (cleaned up-left no mess)
