Jake, the owner provided an estimate along with some helpful hints for my yard. The job was completed yesterday. The contractors were efficient, and trimmed the trees exactly the way I asked. All cleanup was done before they left. The cost of the job was reasonable. I would definitely use Alpine again.

My wife and I needed several large trees removed and others trimmed from our property and contacted Alpine Tree Service for an estimate. Our first compliment is for the rapid response in which the office returned our inquiry. Just as impressive was how quickly an appointment was made for an onsite inspection. Jake arrived exactly on time. He listened to our objectives and concerns, and then offered suggestions based on his knowledge as a Certified Arborist as well as his experience in all aspects of tree cutting. Jake was a pleasure to work with and we were very impressed by and appreciative of his assistance. Within hours, a written price quote was provided and we accepted what we felt was a fair offer. On the day the work began, the crew showed up promptly and Jake introduced us. We all reviewed the day’s plan of action. Throughout the job I observed workers who were most skilled at their profession. I say this from a prospective of having served in the FDNY for over forty years, the last eighteen as an officer whose job it was to assure the safety of my crew at dangerous operations. Tree cutting is a most hazardous occupation, with the safety of the workers depending on each other as well as themselves. It was reassuring to watch as these men exercised perfect communication between each other before, during and after every dangerous maneuver, many times in which one of them was more than 40 feet off the ground. They were also most diligent in their equipment checks prior to each operation. Finally, and the bottom line, Alpine Tree Service fulfilled all the tasks we needed them to perform, safely. Not to be overlooked, they took great care in safeguarding our home (and driveway) in proximity to several of the larger trees as well as a fence along their worksite. Throughout the duration of the job, the workers did an outstanding job of debris removal and were most attentive in their final clean up. From the office staff, to the supervisor, to the crew, we could not have been more satisfied with Alpine Tree Service and highly recommend you consider them for any tree work you might require.

Excellent-- very good communication, personal interaction. Delivered on time (quickly) and gave me an estimate for some tree work (that I didn't go ahead with). Firewood was the right length, well seasoned, and at least the full cord I ordered (Seemed like it might have been more, actually), and a very good price.

Jake and his crew are highly competent and do excellent work, including a very thorough post-job cleanup. He worked with me over the Winter when I was in Florida and a tree had fallen on my house back in NY. He took care of everything, including applying a temporary patch to the smallish hole in my roof caused by one of the branches poking through (fortunately only into an attic space). I had him come back this Summer to inspect the rest of the trees in the yard to take care of any that might similarly threaten the house (as well as a number of other trees that needed some serious pruning and trimming). Once again they did a great job and a super cleanup. I highly recommend Alpine Tree Service (and will use them again in the future).

Friendly, professional and reasonably priced. I bought a load of firewood, which was delivered promptly. Some of the wood is still a bit greenish, but it'll burn. I plan to order from them again.

We met with the arborist at his place of business and he stopped by that evening to assess the trees in question. He called us an hour later with the estimate for services. We agreed immediately to hire them and scheduled for the work to be done a few days later. They showed up on time with the necessary equipment and went straight to work. The dead elm trees were felled and all debris was chipped. We asked for the wood to be stacked in the woods, and they did this for us. The diagnosis was failure due to Dutch elm disease. One tree with a dead branch will be trimmed in the fall or early winter. That one and the other 3 healthy elms are going to be treated with injections to help prevent them from Dutch elm (have already OK'd the upcoming work). The Royal maple was elevated and select branches were removed. The white pine has several issues. It was also elevated and select branches removed. We will continue to monitor the health of the tree since there is new growth appearing. Diagnosed with adelgids, spittle bugs, possible fungus and since it is near the road, possibly salt damage. Fertilizer spikes were recommended and I will perform that duty. The damaged maple was taken down. He climbed the tree and dropped all branches before finally cutting the trunk. It appears the tree was beginning to rot. Neighbor wanted the wood and they accommodated by setting aside the pieces he indicated and then chipped the rest. All trimmings were chipped and they raked and leaf-blew to tidy up. We opted to not have the stumps ground although this was a service that was offered. We were beyond thrilled with this company. Prompt, professional service. Nice employees. Dedication to their work. Not once did I see anyone on a cell phone either talking or texting. Follow up was prompt and courteous. As indicated above, we have already contracted to have the elm trees serviced and later this year we'll have the dead branch removed. All questions were answered or researched as needed. Pricing was great, especially considering the work needing to be done. So very happy to have Alpine Tree Service in our area. We'll continue to use them and hope others will, too!

The crew arrived on time and eager to work A very positive attitude was had by all the men Normally I'm not comfortable leaving workers on my property when I'm not able to be there but they gave me enough confidence to go on with my scheduled events of the day without any worry they left my property very clean and arranged all the firewood I requested neatly in one area

I was worried because the big oak had limbs overhanging my house, but Jake did a great job. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an honest and careful tree service.

Alpine Tree company quickly scheduled an appointment after my initial call. They came over to determine what needed to be done and provided a quote via email. Once I agreed, they were able to schedule the service shortly thereafter. The team completed the job very efficiently and neatly. They even cut all the wood and neatly stacked it under my deck. I would highly recommend this team for any future tree work I have.
