Description of Work: Robert Savage (owner) is an a** to deal with. |Jan 25th 2016 - Called to ask for an estimate to repair sidewalk. Robert texted back stating 'need an address for chimney job' |Feb 2nd 2016 - Called to follow up on estimate. Robert stated that someone else was supposed to do the estimate but will not in winter time as the job cannot be done until spring. |Feb 3rd 2016 - Estimate was complete (priced way out of the water) and taped to the front door of the house knowing that the house was a rental & I did not live there. Asked if Robert could email the estimate his reply was 'I don't email estimate in mail box and I'm busy right now would like to tend to my business right now' | |Needless to say with Roberts arrogance on each phone call & the response by text that Robert initiated he did not get the job. I never like to do business by text but this was an exception as I could not stand the way he spoke to me. Maybe this man is allergic to females that have their own real estate empire. Consequently Robert has not only lost business with myself but other real estate investors.

+ -1 morerrived on time and work done as scheduled. I had hired four other contractors (roofing "specialists? and other masons), paid out approximately $2,000 and problem was never fully resolved. By the time I found Robert, I had water streaming down the rocks of the fireplace in my living room - floor to ceiling disaster. I happened to see Savage Masonry sign roadside while he was working on a brick chimney. Stopped , talked to him, made an appointment for an estimate. Work was scheduled and done as promised. I would definitely hire again and highly recommend Savage Masonry. AND - work is guaranteed for 5 years.
Description of Work: Repaired several cracks and missing cement in chimney outside. And installed chimney cap.

+ -1 moreVery businesslike and concerned with the task. Did excellent work as far as I can see from the ground. I can't (and wouldn't) be concerned with small details at this price. New chimney flue included in price. Responded quickly to our request for an estimate and did the job soon after. A very good job at a very fair price.
Description of Work: Replaced crumbling chimney crown and flue.

Description of Work: Repaired cracks and bricks in chimney. Estimate was to replace 6 bricks and he did 13 total at no extra charge. He also was the only contractor out of 4 called to return my call and show up.

+ -1 moreAWFUL He did okay work but swore at me when I asked him to make the front of the step that he raised, "what the h***, man, it's fine" then when he got dirt on the concrete "now I have to get the f****** sponge" He changed the look of the 2 steps that he fixed by pointing them, the other 10 steps are open & will now have to be made to look like the 2 he did & when I said that he just started yelling & insulting me at the top of his lungs. I am a single female & he is a bully!
Description of Work: repaired 2 steps, raised a step, pointed front stoop

Robert came up with a solution that not only was affordable but has preserved the building's integrity for many years to come. It looks good too! We highly recommend Robert Savage.
