Very well. Terry and his crew replaced the old windows with (5) Andersen 400 series windows. Extremely pleased with the outcome!

We've had RCE out for a variety of projects. They do quality work, the employees are the best at what they do and they're reasonably priced. In addition to our entry they've done the following: siding new roof (complete tear off ) We won't hire anybody else.

Everything was done with care, skill and professionalism. We were pleased and will consider them should additional projects come up in the future.

This was a large and somewhat difficult Hardy singing and trim job for an addition that had to match up with existing structure. They were able handle several changes and add-ons. Responsiveness and quality of work was excellent. Workers took great care to do a good job and clean up was impeccable.

I had gotten a quote from RC Exteriors for a new tear off roof two years ago and unfortunately did not go with them. I went with another contractor and they were a DISASTER! Terry LaRue and his son are great. They start when they say they will. They call with updates on your project. Their Carpenter is a great guy. It was all good.

Called the President Terry to find out if a previously installed attic fan purchased by the previous owner was still under warranty. If it wasn't, I was going to have Terry come over to give me a price quote on installing a new fan. He was so rude, it seemed as though he didn't want any new business. It wasn't like I was asking him to do anything for free!! Supposing as a small business owner, he doesn't need any more work - too bad, I have a ton of work that I am planning on doing to the house this upcoming fall. Guess I'll give it to my current contractor, along with the attic fan job. Considering what little interactions I've had with Terry since buying the house - I think his son came over once to flatten down a flipped up shingle at no cost, in which my appreciation was thoroughly conveyed - I immediately thought to give Terry an opportunity to earn money from me. Definitely won't be giving Terry a chance to work on my house or any of my other properties ever. Too bad for him, I could have been a whale of a client.

We first used Rochester Custom Exteriors for some siding work, and they did such a good job on that occasion that we called them for this most recent work. As usual, they did a quality job, they cleaned up very well, and they worked us into their schedule quickly which we appreciated since the work needed to be done as soon as possible.

Arrived when scheduled. Work crew was polite and professional. Took care to protect surrounding deck and foliage. Left area around the house very clean. I can not think of anything they could have done better. Great job.

I did not use this contractor based on price.

They went out of their way to make the house look great. Their people are professional and polite. I could not believe that I never heard a swear word from the workers throughout their 2 weeks on the job. They found some structural problems while siding the rear of the house and immediately did a major repair. I was amazed to find that I was not charged for this extra work. I would recommend them to anyone wanting a first rate job.

I like everything about them. The quote process went very well. The owner of the company was the one who came. He was very professional and very accommodating. I find him easy to work with. He discussed how to do it and gave me a number of options. I feel very comfortable that they would do a great job.

Terry LaRue, the company president, came over just a day or two after I had contacted his office. He had his son Alex with him as well. They were very professional, knowledgeable and were able to do all the work I requested. Since I had already chosen some materials and styles that I wanted to use, they had the samples and literature available for me to see. We discussed the actual construction and modifications needed to install the larger window in the living room and repair the garage rafters. We had a very informative and pleasant meeting. He returned two days later with a formal written estimate broken down by the individual jobs that I wanted. I was getting estimates from four contractors, so I asked that the estimates be separated in case I wanted to spread the jobs out among them. Terry's estimates were well within my budget and actually less than I had estimated it was going to cost me. Bottom line was that it was a hard decision as I had narrowed it down to his company and one other. They were nearly identical in cost, materials, schedule, etc. Very difficult to decide, but in the end, I more-or-less flipped a mental coin and didn't choose Rochester Custom through no fault of theirs. I will definitely call them for estimates for any future needs, and have already recommended them to one of my friends. Very professional, friendly, reasonable, and a pleasure to have met both Terry and his son Alex.

They did a good job on the roof. They were slow on the cap, but got it done.

He was very professional but the estimate was higher than other companies I spoke with. I think its still worth getting an estimate from this company.

I've never had any problems with them. Would use them again.

The siding was not caulked well, they damaged the stucco on front part of the house and the gutters were not installed well and continue to leak. I had thought I would ask them to come and give me an estimate for re-roofing the front part of my house last year. When I called them they refused to do the work. I had Besroi quote and do the work and it was excellent. They installed additional downspouts to help with the back gutters and I have not had as many problems since they were installed. Rochester Custom Exteriors was terrible and I would not recommend them to anyone. It took months for them to come and repair the stucco they damaged and the siding is still not caulked properly.

The person who came was punctual, professional and very knowledgable of what I needed to have done. Unfortunately a price of about $4/quare foot ($396 per square) was very excessive in my opinion. It amounted to about $20 per 12 foot plank of siding with a 5 inch reveal. I decided then to continue installing the siding myself. I'm sure the company would have done a very nice job installing the siding but their prices were just unreasonable.

The project was started on October 14th and completed on October 29th. They arrived about 7:30 every morning and worked until about 4:00 PM with few breaks. Terry LaRue, the owner, has a crew of poeple that do the windows and doors, and one that does the siding. The windows and doors were replaced first and nicely trimmed on the inside. Then, the siding crew removed the old siding, wrapped the house with Tyvek and installed the trim and siding. They clean up at the end of the day and at the end of the project. Their workmanship is excellent. I would definitely use them again for any siding or window replacement.

The work was handled expediently and very professionally. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I did not go with them because they made a couple of comments. I contacted them to do siding on the house and the trim because I have a big house. He said that he would just slide the siding up to clean the gutters and cover as much of it as he could instead of doing the entire gutter. So I went with someone else. I got five quotes and he was the only one who told me that in addition to having the siding done he could put a new front door and a storm door in, even though I don't need them. He wanted to put them in because it would damage the siding at a later point when I put a new door on. So I called the man I was going to be using and he said that it wouldn't affect it at all. He said that I don't have to replace the door until I need to. He had to get back to me about the price of doors and the things that I picked out. The price on the actual siding was about $500 more than who I went with. I didn't feel like he was completely honest with me.

Ultimately the price was too high. We ending up getting the whole job done for $14000. I really liked them. They were just very expensive.

This is a fantastic contractor. He may not be the cheapest but he is the best. When he went to side the dining room he found a lot of rot in one of the corners. he brought in his crew, rebuilt the area and never charged me for the extra work. His roofing crew was very professional. My wife could not believe that she never heard a cuss word from any of his men for the several weeks that they were here. He delivered more than he estimated and did not charge me more. In fact he saved me money showing me where ideas that I had were to expensive. He accomplished those ideas in a different way with less money. Great people and great management

Terry LaRue is the owner of the company. The work was needed on a house that I was planning to buy. Terry told me what the damage was and proposed a particular type of material. The estimate was for $26000. I did not end up buying the house. I liked the fact that he talked about the different options available. He talked about the different materials available. He told me the pros and cons of using the original material. I thought he was very pleasant to work with. He was punctual and had some good ideas about what needed to be done. I will consider him for a future bid.

I didn't wind up going with them because the price was higher compared to the company I used and it didn't include all the windows (and the windows were going to be of a lower quality). They were professional and courteous and followed up. Very solicitous of questions, etc. I would definitely call them for an estimate. They actually return your calls in a prompt manner.
