Jim gave professional advice and fixed my lawn problems. Despite a scheduling problem, work was done in a timely manner. They returned and reseeded when some areas didn't germinate.

They were fantastic. They were punctual. Mr. Louis is the owner of the company. The gentlemen who came to do the service were very kind and accommodating. There are no complaints about them what so ever. I would rate them high overall. I have signed a contract and I would absolutely continue using them in future.

Fine, no problems. They followed my request.

I spoke to the gentleman several times. I just didn't want lawn care service. The gentleman was very, very knowledgeable. He was able to answer a lot of my specific questions over the phone. When I called the company initially, I explained to the secretary that I wanted somebody to come out and give me a price on specific items. They came and assessed the space of the lawn care treatment, put it in the packet, and left it. They really didn't follow my instructions. Nobody called me back. They weren't very good with communication.

I purchased one of Angies List Big Deals. When I called, they say they do not go out that far (Nassau). The following week I get an email saying they WILL be out here for service. Two+ more weeks passed and nothing. Meanwhile weekend opportunities to take care of the lawn disappears so I decided to do it myself. Terrible implementation on both Angies List and Emerald as there were no restrictions in the fine print. Do not offer what you cannot fulfil.

I bought the Big Deal for them. Everything was fine. I called and scheduled the appointment and they told me the available times. They came when they said they would. I would use them again.

Requested an estimate. Met with estimator in the morning and was promised a response by the afternoon. Called after a week of silence and was told they had computer issues but would address right away. Never heard from them again.

I started using Emerald Magic three years ago with the hopes of having a nice green lawn despite a rather shady location. Three years and 3 thousand dollars; later, I wasn't totally satisfied with the results, so I decided to save my money and do it myself. I should have done this along time ago.. It's rather easy to do as long as you stay on top of it, it's much cheaper and the results are better. The only thing I didn't do myself was the core aeration. Since Emerald Magic wouldn't negotiate the price I called another reputable company and not only did they beat E.M's price (by a mile!) but also seeded for free!

They said that they would be out within 2 days to look at the situation and leave you an estimate and also asked me if I would like to be there. I called them 10 days later and said that you were supposed to give me an estimate and the lady asked if no one has contacted me. I told her that no one has contacted me or come by, so I gave her the information and she said that someone will contact you and set an appointment. I still haven?t heard from them. I wasn?t contacting anyone else to have the work done because I was expecting them to come and do something.

Mike came last week to give me an estimate on poison ivy control. I have a large sized property (almost an acre) and heavy infestation of p.o. all over it. He was right on time and spent a lot of time with us, explaining all about the problems of p.o. and shared a lot of information about our landscaping which was very helpful. I would definitely hire him as a horticulturist in the future. That afternoon I had my estimate. Although the price is high, I recognize that I do have a lot of area to cover and I felt confident that this company knows what it is doing in this regard. Jim called this morning to say he was coming to do the job at 10AM. He was right on time. Jim is the nicest guy and it was evident that he knew exactly what he was talking about. He, too, took a lot of time to explain p.o. to us and was very thorough. Of course, we won't know for a while the results of today's p.o. control treatment, but I was very happy with the company and both Mike and Jim.

Called them 9/11 to schedule estimate. I'm told estimator will call after 12-1 PM. 9 days later they left a message on my phone that they wanted to come over that evening. Since I work during the day by the time I got home it was already evening. 9/24 4:30 P.M I called again & left a message for "Jena" with the guy who answered the phone but could not make an appt. for estimate. I'm told she's out doing estimates & will call me back. Now it is Oct. 8th & I still have heard nothing. If this is how they handle estimates I don't think I want them working on my lawn. Already got someone else who responded the day after I called them.

I THINK THE JOB THAT WAS DONE WAS SUPURB. IF I HAD ANY PROBLEMS AT ALL THEY WERE FIXED IMMEDIATELY, WHICH WERE FEW AND FAR BETWEEN. I LOVED THE WAY MY LAWN LOOKED ALL SEASON.

I'M SATISFIED WITH THE SERVICE, EVERYTHING THEY DO IS GOOD. I WOULDN'T SAY THEY'RE GREAT OR OUTSTANDING BUT DEFINITELY SATISFACTORY. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM.

EMERALD IS GOOD ABOUT COMING OUT ON A SCHEDULE OR WHENEVER I CALL THEM ABOUT A CONCERN. MY YARD WAS GREEN AND LUSH ALL SUMMER LONG, EVEN WHEN THE OTHER YARDS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD WERE TURNING BROWN.

EMERALD HILL DOES A FINE JOB ON MY YARD. THE LAWN IS FREE OF CLIPPINGS FROM THE GRASS AND HEDGES. THE DEBRIS IS HAULED AWAY, AND THE WALKWAYS ARE CLEARED. THEY TRIM NICE AND CLOSE TO THE FLOWERBEDS AND HOUSE.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED SIX TIMES A YEAR, IF THERE SEEM TO BE ANY PARTICULAR PROBLEMS WITH THE LAWN, I AM ADVISED OF SOLUTIONS, THE TREATMENTS HAVE RESULTED IN A BEAUTIFUL LAWN.
