Martin’s crew did a great job! Neat, on time, and Professional. Quality of work was excellent. Would recommend.

The finishing was not good but he was able to stop the leak from the roof.

After he visited in April, he called to say that the roof was in very bad shape and he was able to replace some of the shingles but that the underlying cedar shakes were in terrible shape and the whole roof needed to be replaced. He said it would be a 40K job. A few days later, he called with an estimate for the job at 32K and said I only had 2 weeks to accept it and if I don't take it this summer, it would be 40K next summer. He followed up with a little additional information, and again is good at communicating. In the meantime, I called Dormer Doctor (highly rated on Angie's list) and they came and gave me an estimate for the same job at $19,400. As for what he did, he said he went up on the roof and replaced 26 missing shingles and that it took 2.5 hours, but honestly I have no way of telling that since I couldn't even see where the roof was missing shingles when I called him about the shingles in the first place. (It's a high roof on a hill, so you can't see it from the ground). All I could tell was that some shingles were on the ground and there was hole when you stood in the attic. The most disappointing concern is that even after his visit the original hole that I had asked him to fix is still visible from the attic (When I look up, I see the skylight shining through). After I saw the hole was still there after his visit, I contacted him about this and asked him when he would be able to come by and fix it. He told me that it cannot be fixed. I am disappointed to be writing this review because I liked his open communication style, but I do not like paying someone to do a job and not having the job completed. I also do not like being pressured into getting my roof replaced at a price over $12K more than the next estimate.

They made an appointment to show up for an estimate. I took time off from work to meet with them and they never showed up or called.

He was reachable by phone. He took pride in his work and came back to help us with a few minor problems. His price was very competitive vs. the major companies.

Super professional job, as perfect as you can want. Neat and intelligent workers and spotless clean up of all debris. Would recommend the company in a flash. Price was competitive.
