There was evidence of lots of sloppy (even dangerous) electrical work in the house, but my particular problem involves running special HDMI cabling in the house. Because of the distances involved, I had purchased special HDMI cables with signal amplifiers built into the HDMI connectors and provided those cables to the provider (Jim Bellinger). These cables were clearly marked "Source" end and "Displahy" end. A fact that Mr. Bellinger was aware of. Three of these four special HDMI cables were correctly installed (and work fine), but one (going to the loft) was installed backwards. I had provided complete documentation to Mr. Bellinger, yet his crew managed to connect the one to the loft backwards, making it unusable. There were several other instances of sloppy work by Bellinger Electric, including loose neutral wiring in one of the outlets (creating a safety issue), connecting Cat 5 data cable as phone wiring and improperly terminating Cable TV wires. While I have been able to correct many of these issues myself I have tried, on four occasions, to contact Mr. Bellinger on the HDMI to the loft issue. He has yet to respond. As Mr. Ballinger has been unresponsive to my communications, I have had to take an alternative approach to providing the functionality that I paid for at an additional cost of $210.
Description of Work: Install special A/V wiring in a house under construction in addition to the regular electrical work that the builder had hired the provider to do.
