+ 6 moreALL our neighbors in Oceanside were in this situation, having to tear out and rebuild. Just about everyone is now done, but we are not. Eminent is working on a couple different jobs, so we don't have full time work being done. There's also a wait for supplies, pending the receipt of insurance reimbursement. We were on vacation for a week, then the owner (who does most of the work) was out with dental problems. The insurance issues are affecting everyone. Eminent has been very flexible and has been working with us (and others) to get everyone's needs addressed as quickly (and fairly) as possible. We do expect everything to be finished up in the next week or two. Overall, we are very happy with the results and will definitely use them again.
Description of Work: We contracted with Eminent to rebuild the lower level of our house after Super Storm Sandy. He brought in the dumpster and a crew, and tore our sheet rock, the half-bath, floors, etc. He has re-tiled the office, utility room and bathroom (twice, since we bought the wrong color vanity). He redesigned two closets, and built out a cubby in the utility room to give us more space. He installed crown molding through out the downstairs and is now painting. We're waiting for doors, and a replacement sliding glass door. He brought in the plumber to put in new baseboards. We brought in our own electrician. We have used Eminent previously, and were just as happy with them then. They remodeled two full baths - on schedule and on budget. They created a custom cabinet between the wall studs, which was very clever.

Description of Work: Full kitchen re-model. Old plaster and floors removed. New walls, plumbing, electrical and cabinets installed.
