All I wanted to do is clean sweep my boiler Chimney, I had their advertisement from magazine promising $125 dollars for FULL CHIMNEY SPECIAL INCLUDING, 12 point inspection, carbon monoxide test, draft test, brush and vacuum. They came Inspected MY CHIMNEY to tell me THAT TOTAL job will cost close to $4500 dollars, I said TO HIM THAT all I need is JUST clean my chimney. They brushed from the top and told me that its finished. I asked him about Carbon Monoxide and draft test, he said he didnt have Carbon Monoxide test with him and it was not on his work order paper and and left my promise. I was not happy with answer at all. When I started my boiler smoke backed it up apparently they did not clean the bottom of the chimney so I immediately stopped my boiler to prevent miserable result, and called them. It was a phone service and told me that they will contact them to come back. I was so mad because my boiler guy was just cleaned the bottom of the chimney the day before for yearly contract I had. Now it was full of sud and debris. They came back and he blamed the new guy who suppose to suck from bottom and didnâ t do what he suppose to do. This time they Cleaned the bottom which they suppose to do in the first place again and left, they were not happy to come back at all. I would never ever do anything with these people, all they do is try to SELL YOU UNRELATED items to your chimney which will be costing THOUSANDS of dollars and it is not true, because I was also in construction business before I retired. Also Their 3 sales people go around the block to sell more stuff to your neighborhood based on your address. Just try to look somewhere else but not THIS PEOPLE, NOT ADV-NY

Tommy and Marcus came to my home for a cleaning and inspection . They were knowledgeable , honest and made sure to leave the space they worked in the same condition it was in when they arrived . 10/10 would recommend adv to anyone in need of chimney / fireplace work in the future .

The service tech was professional and explained what needed to be done. However, I have not received my receipt for the completed work. That is a problem for me. I have my credit card receipt to prove payment for service, However, I still need a receipt from the company.

The gentleman who worked on my fireplace was conscientious and hard working. I was not aware that there would be another fee at the time of visit.

Avoid this business at all costs! I made the mistake of hiring them to clean my chimney after seeing their display at the Nassau Coliseum Home Show. They came for their appointment and claimed to have inspected and cleaned my wood-burning stove chimney. This was in April. I paid them assuming that they did clean the chimney. I did not use the stove at all since their Cleaning. I recently had to have another chimney company come due to a blockage in the gas burner chimney. This company performed an inspection on both chimneys. After resolving the issue with the gas burner chimney, they informed me that the wood stove chimney was not only filthy and uncleaned but the chimney cap was blocked solid. ADV never cleaned or inspected the wood stove chimney at all! Please beware!!

Was contacted by ADV chimney to rectify issues regarding (Negative Review). Was told they would take the necessary steps (work) to resolve issues. Well since they called and said they would resolve issues I have not heard a word from them since, That was a couple of weeks ago! So they cannot be trusted.. Original review: 11/27/2021 They were terrible! kept trying to up sell service. At Time No receipt was given to us (since first negative review they emailed one to me). Over priced would not recommend. Issues: Chimney water proofing was a joke. did not get up on a ladder to get up to top (just stood on ground and just squirted up with a container like is used for spraying insecticide - Total waste of money! Caulking - Was suppose to caulk gap between chimney bricks and house. incomplete! Gapping Openings where water CAN get in! Total waste of money! Originally we contacted them to reinstall a chimney cap that was blown off by the wind! Just 4 screws, then the up-selling started! Cost of this scam was Hundreds ($300.00) Response from company: Hi Rob, We will coming to take care of this and make sure you are completely satisfied. (AS of 12/31/2021 NOTHING has been done to resolve issues!!! But they wanted me to change to my review!!)

They were terrible! kept trying to upsell service. No receipt was given to us. Said would be emailed, over one week so far. Over priced would NOT recommend!

They were supposed to fix the chimney and repair the encasement. work was sloppy and unfinished. debris was left behind. very unhappy with the quality of work.

The whole experience from beginning to end was pleasant, including them having to come back because they did not have the proper chimney liner on hand. They set up chimney caps on my main chimney and wood burning stove, as well as a new chimney liner in the main chimney. This was a new home I purchased and the previous owners did not have these set up. ADV NY was responsive, courteous, and able to put my mind at ease with their great work. Would definitely recommend.

ADV NY, Inc. excelled in old fashion customer service and work. In this new world of press 1, then press 2 then hold forever. Others made promises and appointments only to NOT show, but ADV NY, Inc. delivered where others failed. There customer service, returned calls and follow-up appointment reminders were very much appreciated. They came when promised, did the install perfectly, explained my options and completed the repairs timely and at a fair price. (Trust me i researched material costs) I would highly recommend ADV NY, Inc.

They did the work thoroughly in no time. Were very polite and in time. Cleaned up after the job. I was very pleased.

ADV established a 90-minute time frame for the cleaning, then phoned me on the day of service to let me know exactly what time the tech would be here. The man was efficient and friendly, and did a thorough job of cleaning up after he finished.

They were very neat on the job site. They were also on time and respectful.
