Did work as required at a good price.

I called Baughman's based on people's positive experiences and reviews on Angie's List. My experience was absolutely terrible. Here is how the conversation went: Me: I want to get an estimate for my driveway. Reply: $134 Me: $134? For what? Reply: To reseal the driveway. Me: Huh? You don't even know how big it is or what kind of shape it's in. Reply: I've been doing this for 30 years, I know how much it costs to reseal a driveway. Me: I was hoping to have someone come out and give me an idea on whether or not I should completely replace it or reseal it. I'm a first time homeowner so I'm not really sure. Reply: If I had to drive around all day giving estimates do you know how much money I'd waste on gas and how annoying that would be? If you want to spend a few thousand dollars, we'll replace it. If not, spend a couple hundred bucks and reseal it. I was completely blown away. I don't know if I caught this guy at a bad time or what, but this is the worst customer service I've ever experienced in my entire life. No chance I ever call or recommend them again - I don't care what the other reviewers have said.

I had many, many estimates for my driveway to be replaced. The estimates were all over the place--one estimate was as high as $3000! I got an estimate directly from Steve, who is the owner. He advised me exactly what I should do and not do with my driveway. I discussed other estimates with him and what other companies said they wanted to do. Steve said that some of the other companies were suggesting things that weren't necessary for my pariticular driveway. Steve's estimate was not only the best price-wise, but his description of what was needed vs. what wasn't needed, made sense to me. The day the new asphlat was done, was the hottest day in July! Still all of the crew worked their tails off and didn't take any breaks! I kept bringing them out cold water, which they all appreciated! : - ) All the guys on the crew were very friendly, polite and professional. The whole job actually took two days. The first day, they ripped out the old asphalt and leveled it with stone. The second day was the application of the new asphalt. I watched them work and they were sooo particular and precise with their application, edging and regrading! I could tell they took REAL pride in their work and were treating my driveway almost like it was their own! I was very, very impressed and conveyed this to the crew boss. My new driveway looks FANTASTIC! Next season (after the Winter) I will have them come to do the first seal for my driveway. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for any driveway related jobs! I really can't say enough good things about this company and the GREAT job that they did from start to finish! I look forward to dealing with them in the upcoming years to maintain my beautiful new driveway! It really adds to the outside appearance of my house! I'm very, very satisfied and I DID recommend them to my brother--he's going to use them to replace his driveway, too!

Baughman's showed up on time. Thoroughly cleaned and then sealed the driveway. Quality job and the people were polite and professional. Great work at a fair price.

Baughman's Magic Seal has sealed my driveway for many years. Every experience has been A+. They do an excellent job of removing debris, including complete removal of grass growing along the edges. I have NOT seen sealer splattered on other surfaces. The materials are NOT applied sparingly. I have my driveway sealed every 2 years. Even then, I can see the asphalt is not bare.

They did a very good job. They gave me the price ahead of time over the phone. They came out as they said and did a nice job. There is nothing too fantastic about driveway sealing. They cleaned up and left it looking very neat. It took them only 20 minutes to do it. About a year ago the town came by and put in new drainage and cut into everyone’s driveway. They put in a new seal but there was a seam. When these guys came by they filled in that seam and they did a couple of other areas that for no extra charge.

Work performed on-time, as described and professionally. Good telephone scheduling and question answering.

Scheduling was easy. Even though I changed the scheduled time twice this year, the process was quick and simple. I found the phone crew to be extremely pleasant and accommodating. The sealing itself is a big job and a bit fussy, but the crew was skilled and careful. This is at least the third time we've used them, and every time the crew has done an excellent job. Aside from the need to keep off the drive for a day, they make the whole process just about hassle free.

They left a flyer at my house with the price. I called the number given and they gave me an appointment. They showed up on time. Theuy cleaned off driveway with a large blower the edged it with a string trimmer. They gave me an envelope and said I could send payment in or give it then and there. they were careful around white garage door and edging materials.

I have used them 4 years in a row now, and I have first used them because of the price.

A neighbor used him and that is how I got to know about him. They cleaned up after themselves.

I found them off of Angie's List. I used them right after I looked them up. My experience with them was excellent.

They’re great. Can’t say enough about them. They were right on time. They exceeded what I had expected. I had done business with them in the past as well.

They did a good job. They did what they said they were going to do when they said they would do it. I haven't had any problems with the job.

Their sealing lasts about two years on my driveway

arrived at door asking to get check / payment ready. fifteen minutes later, driveway sealed and single cone at the end of the driveway. Did great job covering without any spill over onto new sidewalk.

They were punctual and professional. They did excellent work. We have had a lot of driveway work done, and they have been the best so far. We would absolutely use them again.

We had no problems with them. They did exactly what we asked them to do. We would use them again.

Our expereince was postive. The initial call was answered very professionally and they were able to give us an estimate over the phone. We scheduled a a day for the work to be completed. They came as scheduled and were done in 15 minutes. The only issue was the some of the larger cracks could have used more sealent. However, overall we are happy with the job and will use them again in the future.

Arrived promptly as expected, did a nice job, completed in less than an hour.

They showed up when they were supposed to and did an excellent job. They didn't keep anybody waiting. They were reliable. We have this job done every three years.

Very prompt and punctual; I had told them about doing some patch work. The crew came, saw what was to be done, said they couldn't do it and will arrange for a subcon and left; didn;t hear back. When I reached to office they said the same but no one contacted me. I have since engaged another company. I wish small companies like these have a better follow-thru to not lose business.

I placed one phone call to set a date. They came on the day promised and did the work I expected for a reasonable price.
