Attic to Basement Solutions

I called Attic to Basement Solutions. Jamie returned my call the same day. He gave me some advice on how I might address the problem without professional help. He was extremely helpful on the phone, and if these actions don't fix the problem, I will certainly be calling him back for a better solution. It was such a pleasure to work with someone who was sincerely trying to solve your problem instead of how best to line their wallet.

From what I can tell everything went great. They were on time, fast, quiet and professional.

It went well. He was thorough and told us what he was doing. He told us he figured he'd hear from the lab by Friday that week. Friday arrived and we didn't hear from him. I called him on Monday or Tuesday and left a message, asking for an update. He didn't call back, but on Friday that next week, I received an email with a pdf copy of the lab results. He didn't send any info regarding how to interpret the data, but as best I could tell, one of the numbers was extremely high. I called him again, and left a message asking him to call back and give us an idea as to how to proceed. He never called us back. We need to do a lot of mold removal, but it seems he has no desire to do it.

Jamie came over the same day we spoke on the phone, right when he said he would. He discovered a broken sewer pipe and showed me a few places outside where water was making it into the basement too. He was very nice and professional.

I recently bought a house and noticed there was some mold in the basement. I am a first-time home buyer so I wasn't sure the extent of the mold or what I should do about the problem. Making an appointment was easy and quick, and Jamie came out to the house on time ready to do the inspection. He was thorough and explained everything as we went along, making sure to answer any and all questions I had. Jamie also pointed out several areas where I could make small improvements around the house to prevent future mold. At the end of the inspection he summarized all his findings and walked me through what I could do to fix the problem. He was extremely knowledgeable and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone.

All was great. I booked the job over the phone. Service was prompt. The day before the job the provider contacted me about arrival time. The crew arrived on time was very pleasant and presented themselves well. The job appears to be very well done. Everything was cleaned up. Would definitely use this provider again.

He called before he came out, and was punctual. Very professional inspection of basement and everything in it. Actually found more mold than I knew was there. Instructed me how to remove it; recommended I lower the humidity on dehumidifier to 50 and move it to a more central location; and open the HVAC vents to circulate drier A/C air to the basement. Said everything looked very clean and in good shape. I was very pleased. I would recommend to my friends and neighbors.

At the estimate, the owner was very professional. He was not at all pushy. He was very knowledgeable and took time to explain everything. Both men who did the work were also extremely professional, knowledgeable, patient with my questions, and worked hard while they were here. Price was higher than I thought was warranted based on the time it took to do the job.

Initially Mr. Jaime Coonan came to give us an estimate on the house we were putting an offer in on. He was prompt, professional , helpful l and gave us a fair estimate. We felt he was knowledgeable and took time to explain things. After we closed on the house we had him come back to do the work . He sent 2 guys to do the work. We never saw Mr. Coonan again. His employees were there 6 hours or less. Upon closer inspection after they left we found they did not scrub off all the mold . It was still on the metal beams in the rafters. and in other spots. The sealant they applied was fine in HALF the basement. The other half had runs, drips, and dribbles. It appeared they were in a rush and did a very sloppy job. They never left us a receipt even after paying. We called Mr. Coonan. He sent them back and it was touched up. Although there was still all kinds of drips all over the basement floor (Which WE now have to repaint!) as well as all the insulation that they had pulled out. AGAIN we called Mr. Coonan. He sent them back again to clean up the insulation. I don't feel you should have to call someone back 3 times to complete the job.

When I inquired about the inspection, Jamie contacted me the same day that I emailed him. The next day, he was at my house for an inspection. Jamie was professional and knowledgeable throughout the inspection and explained the information it a way that I can understand. I would definitely recommend Jamie!

Jamie Coonan gave me an estimation much lower than others. He took out moldy wood around sump pump area and cleaned mold from walls in about half of the basement. Drilled weep holes to relieve water build-up and painted walls with odor block shield. His men were very neat and did a great job cleaning up. Job took less than a day and a half. I'm very satisfied with the work they did. Also cleaned out trench around walls to let water flow as system was designed.

Everything went very well. They showed up on time each day and were very professional. When they finished the space look like it was freshly constructed. No dirt or cobwebs anywhere. What a great job. I would not hesitate to hire Jamie and his crew again or to recommend them to family and friends.

Service was performed prior to home closing. The estimate was done quickly and the final work was exactly in line. The work appears thorough. There was no mess left behind and without visually inspecting the attic, there was no sign that workers had been in the house. Will use again for future basement work.

Looks great. Walls in better shape. Floor looks good. Space much more usable.

He arrived exactly on time and very quickly determined what the problem was. He spent some time explaining what we could do and gave us a referral for a gutter guy. He was honest, professional and helpful. How nice to have a contractor tell us honestly that we don't need his services, rather than sell us something we don't need. Highly recommend!

Extremely respectful, responsive, and fair. Quite frankly the cleanest crew I have ever seen. I was overly pleased with the work as I felt like I got my moneys worth. Initially I felt they would only encapsulate and paint the one side but they did both. I would use them again without a doubt.

We were extremely happy with all aspects of the work. Pat and Nate arrived promptly, worked diligently, and were very respectful of our own comfort. They were very neat, and the area looks great. The gentleman who came looked and sounded knowledgeable, he gave us some tips, he said that we really don't have an issue but gave us an estimate on some maintenance that we could do but we really haven't gone down to it but it was a good experience. He seemed like a pretty good guy.

We have Jamie's estimate and plan to contact him soon to schedule the job. He also had a recommendation for us for someone who could address our roofing and siding needs.

As stated above, we did not decide to have Jamie perform the work because he is not able to soda blast. If you don't want soda blasting, however, Jamie appears to have a good reputation, from the reviews that I've read and the couple of people whom I've talked to that have used him in the past.

They really did a good job. They are extremely honest people.

They were great. I wanted a third opinion for the service, so I called Jaime and she was on time, really knowledgeable and nice. I didn't need any professional work done but he showed me what I could do myself. He was really nice about it. He showed me why I didn't have a problem where somebody had said I might and told me what to do. He gave me a couple of assessment and told me what I could do to kind of fix things up or whatever and it was great. He didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. He came to gave me an estimate but there was nothing to estimate because I didn't need anything, so I asked her to cancel that and he wouldn't get money, he just gave me a card and asked me to call or refer him if there would be problems.

Did an excellent job. On time, quick, neat, good price and pleasure to deal with.
