I left a message for this provider via Angie's list and they promptly returned my inquiry with a call and scheduled a estimate time according to my schedule. He arrived on time and after checking out the foundation problem he gave me several options when in trying to work with my concerns and budget. Though I have not yet had the work done it's not because I was unsatisfied but because other repairs have token precedence but when we are ready to do the job we will certainly give them a call back. I've had several people come and give me estimate including Franks basement and waterproofing but none have eased my mind with the options given to me. Also after we discussed the options he did say he would send me a written estimate with the options we discussed and again it arrived in a timely manner as expected. I'm very especially since there offices are not in buffalo but they had no hesitation in making the trip here.

Gary came out to evaluate the situation, and gave me, what I thought was the best overall solution - remedy to the cracks and inexpensive prevention against future cracks. The price was also good compared to what others were offering and their proposed solutions. One company actually gave me a $36,000 quote, completely crazy! In terms of the work, everything went very well, and actually took a day less than was scheduled (2 instead of 3). This was due to the crew staying late both days, close to 12 hour days as I recall, and the sheer number of them - I think 10 guys were there the first day. The were all very polite and professional. The supervisor kept me informed throughout the project of how things were progressing. After a friend and I painted the basement it looked so good nobody was even aware there was ever an issue that had been remedied. I sold my house a couple months later in less than a week of listing.

Very well, crew was on time and courteous, and answered questions as they were asked. Finished early. They did leave a burn strip on lawn about 4 x 10 area, but grass crew back.

Tim was excellent through the whole process. He was on time for every appointment and answered all of my questions and I had plenty. They did all the work in the time frame we established and for the price we established (no by the way it's gonna cost more than we thought). All in all it was an excellent experience I would definitely use them again but hopefully I don't have to.

I was satisfied with the work that they did. They were very personable and very knowledgeable. They were here on time. They did everything in the timeframe that they said they were going to do it in. They were very helpful with things I needed to have with moving. I liked their service. Any questions I ask them, they were knowledgeable and they answered it appropriately.

Water found in slab duct work. ABS was convinced it was ground water and suggested we draw the wall. They were on time, very professional and completed everything well.

Tim Case did estimate. A week later they came in & performed the entire job in 2 days. Very happy w/work done & staff.

They were very prompt and courteous. They did a real good job and helped me with things that I had to move. They explained everything that they were going to do. They gave me the price on it. I know that concrete is a little expensive. I am happy with it. It took them about three days altogether because they had to let it set up. They came and did the concrete. Then they let it set for a couple of days. They came back and finished up. It's been fine. They did good work. With regard to price, I am not familiar with that sort of company, but I know it's expensive. With regard to quality, there are certain little areas that bubble a little bit, but all in all it’s fine.

Unfortunately they didn't cure our problem but they did an excellent job. They did what they said they were going to do and they were there when they said they were going to be. They cleaned up after themselves pretty well. We were very pleased.

I have had ever worsening problems with my large basement for several years. I got estimates from several companies and selected ABS to do the work. They did a phenomenal job! My basement has been dry so far. Even after the huge snow from early winter melted. The bright wall product makes my basement usable at a fraction of the cost of remodeling. The dehumidifier and backup sump pump systems are quiet and work well. The customer service was top notch too. Very pleased so far.

Crew arrived when they said they would, even with bad weather. Very courteous & professional. couldn't be happier, pricing stuck to estimate will recommend.

It took 2.5 days to complete the job, which was quicker than their original estimate of 3 to 4 days. Communication was excellent, workers were prompt, friendly, courteous, and respectful to us and our home. These guys are fantastic and the results are wonderful, I couldn't be more pleased with the whole process. The first day had 3 guys cutting and clearing the channel around the inside perimeter. All the excavated material was placed in 5 gallon buckets and carried up the stairs to their truck. The second day had 5 or 6 guys clearing the channel, drilling weep holes, adding stone, installing the WaterGuard, installing the new SuperSump and battery backup system, and then pouring concrete over the WaterGuard and around the new sump. The last day was spraying the foam insulation into the sill cavity, cleanup, then explanation of the work and system. We are looking forward to having them come back and installing some type of wall finishing in the coming spring or summer.

Another basement waterproofing company was quite alarmist regarding the severity of the problem, but these guys approached the evaluation with a calm and methodical demeanor. They quickly made an evaluation that it was indeed a construction defect and clearly explained the reasons why. No high pressure sales tactics were employed, but they did offer a few solutions and further investigative actions that could be done by myself before engaging them or other professionals. I appreciated their candor and would strongly consider using them for future work if it is needed.

The concrete block wall of my exterior stairwell cracked and pulled away from my home foundation. After consulting five different construction companies I selected ABS to do the work. It was a complicated project that required the reconstruction of the complete stairwell. ABS did a fantastic job. What I have now is much stronger than the original construction. I am completely satisfied with the concrete walls built by ABS (12 inch block filled with steel and poured concrete), waterproofing, and improvement to the adjacent foundation wall. The new drainage system is impressive. Everyone I worked with at ABS was courteous and dependable.

Diagnosed prob;em as carpentry issue not foundation. Made recommendations, offered to consult with carpenter when we get one. Spent time thoroughly going over isses & explaining them. Imparted great knowledge & educated me. Couldn't have been more professional & helpful.

I had some cracking in my driveway where it meets my garage. Upon investigation it turned out there was a small hole underneath the cracked driveway which went underneath my garage. I called ABS after finding them on Angie's list and left a message. They got back to me a few hours later and told me they would have someone out to look at it the next day, which they did. They explained that I had slight erosion of the soil in that area due to moisture and it required them to cut a small section (1x3 ft) out of my driveway so they could clean out the debris, re-enforce the foundation and then fill it up with concrete. They also told me it was a small job and they would get back to me with a date as they would fit it in between some of their larger jobs and that I might be waiting quite a while as they were quite backed up with work. I was not happy with that exactly but I understood and agreed. Less than a week later they called me back and told me they could do it the following Friday in the morning and I agreed so long as they did not need me at home when they first arrived as I was not able to get out of work until closer to lunch time. I arrived home for an early lunch and they were practically finished! They explained some more about what they found and what they did and then they finished up and I paid the agreed upon sum and it was done. A nice clean transaction. ABS was professional, courteous and did very good work from what I can tell so I would definitely use them again and would recommend them highly to others.

The crew consisted of 3 men; a 4th joined later. They arrived on time, were polite and stayed focused on their job at hand. I was very satisfied with their work and their ethics. I would hire this company again; and I already recommended ABS to a friend.
