The crew was professional neat clean they explained everything to me and the work was what they said would be and quality work they're very reliable they were on time and very communicative about what the exactly were going to do excellent job if you thinking of doing basement work these are the guys excellent work

Do not use this company. They never connected the discharge pipe so the sump pump was just pouring water behind my wall causing mold (see photos). They drilled through absestos tile and mastic, requiring me to go through thousands of dollars of asbestos abatement and risking harm to me and my family. On top of this they have made little effort to resolve anything. The project manager, Victor, will not return any phone calls. Itâ s borderline comical how I will be assured that victor will call me back and he never does. Over the past three weeks Iâ ve called Vulcan over ten times and each time an exasperated person on the phone will assure me that they relayed an urgent message to Victor and Terry again, and that they will call me by ends of day, but they never do. The asbestos issue is crazy because they had their employees jackhammering through a material that is know to cause cancer, endangering their employees and my family, and yet they still have zero interest in answering a phone call. Donâ t make the mistake I made, steer clear of this company. And if someone at Vulcan is reading this, Iâ m happy to change this review if you guys actually give me a call back to fix the system you installed.

Professional job done as described cleaned up after offer different payment options

Dealing with this company was a costly and unpleasant learning experience. Ensure you have all the details of the job discussed and ironed out with their Rep. who unfortunately has no idea what the foremen for the company actually do or offer. Ask questions like how will the sump pump be supplied with electricity-had this company been forthcoming with their inability to create a separate GFI electric outlet line for the sump pump then I would have not hired them. Also if you decide on getting an industrial dehumidifier from them as well, ensure you know what model you are paying for because the brochure they use to sell you the device is not the same that is provided, apparently the model they provide, the hose that drains the dehumidifier is not hooked into the sump-pump, it is just laid on top of the basement floor on top of the gravel? Beware in dealing with this company, professionalism was very poor and to complete the job they had to come back 2 more times. Totally will not be using this company and would never recommend them. Their approach and response to issues changed once a male presence was established. Bottom line, get everything spelled out completely.

My home is an attached townhouse, make sure you speak with your installer about the water discharge options. The crew arrived on time and went right to work. I definitely saw their experience as a team. Would recommend to other.

Very quick service and quality. Workers far from lazy

Vulcan was EXCELLENT. From the moment they came to assess, to the crew that came in to work the job, to the customer service over the phone, this company has been extremely professional, trustworthy, and exceptional. I highly recommend them. The work was stellar and completed as quoted. Our only hiccup, leading to the docking of half a star, was the recommendation of a dehumidifier that caused more problems than it helped. They ARE taking it back and refunding most of the cost, but I'm stuck with a $250 restocking fee that seems steep for something that I had for two days and wasn't an appropriate recommendation for our space.

Felt like I was getting coned out of my money. Salesman wanted me to pay him in cash with no receipt.

The work was completed in timely and clean fashion. Workers were neat and cleaned up when work was completed.

Vulcan stone floors were laid down and essentially achieved by goals in my basement flooring. They laid the floors under a pool table as promised. But now 3 years later after the pool table has been removed we discovered problems under the 4 leg spots. I have made 4 calls to them without the courtesy of a return call. What had been a good experience with Vulcan has now been soured because they seem unconcerned with dealing with any issue. Shame on them!

contractor did a great job, delayed by a missed day or two , but still done quicker than others had proposed. quality workmanship, job created a huge mess that was cleaned spotless before they left everyday.

This sterling recommendation is for their quick, clean work. Whether or not the seepage of water through my basement wall will cease remains to be seen.

They did install pump, but heavy rain water still came from other window, that mean they did not expect water came out from there. Anyway, they told me I still had to fix the other window. They did half job.

Work was not completed as described by the salesman.

I called Vulcan to evaluate the situation in my basement. I told the salesman that I have a damp basement and not a wet basement, he convinced me that I need an internal French drain and a sump pump to solve the problem. A month goes by and the sump pump is dry even with heavy rain, while my walls are still damp. I was sold something I didn’t need and the review would be even lower if not for the great crew of laborers who work for them. They did a good job and were efficient.

Be prepared to clean up cement dust from everywhere! Check the sump pump for cement droppings which could stop the pump. Insist on floor protection on patios in the path of cement transfer. They stained my brand new granite patio in the front of the house. There was an attempt to clean up cement droppings on my driveway but there is still stains there. I will have to try a power wash in the summer. You really have to watch everything they do. Leaving them to do the work on there own you will not be happy.
