They were good. In the past I have had many people come to repair the roof and failed. He resolved the problem.

It was a nightmare from start to finish. Wrong door , all the windows leak due to poor installation and not enough caulking around them I had to have them repaired at my expense. The company doesn't care and doesn't respond.

After finishing the work, I realized they had covered the dryer exhaust. I was lucky to have noticed it before my dryer would have caught fire. They did come a few days later and fixe that problem. The first day that it rained I realized they had not reinstalled a gutter in the front of the house. After some discussion they finaly came and installed the gutter they had torn down. On Friday the13,2009 we had high winds here in Queens. all of a sudden in the middle of the day I hear things falling fron my home and hitting objects in the street. When I went outside I was astonished to see that the siding that this company had installed 5 years ago was falling out!. A huge section of the front of my house was all over the street. Other homes in my neighborhood with siding much older than mine were intact !. I left a message with R.H. Construction to have them come and replace the siding they had installed. They did call me back the next day to inform me that this was not under warraty. According to them, they only warranty their labor for 2 years. What that means to me is that if they installed siding on your home you should pray for a snow storm wind storm or other such circumstance to occur within their warrenty period or else your out of luck. How else would you be able to determine if their labor was adecuate?. Isn't installation part of what you are paying for?. I honestly believed that siding was supposed to stay attached to your house for at least 20 years not fly off in 5. What happens if they put in a new roof ?. If it leaks in three years and it starts falling down do they blame labor also?. So what is it exactly that I paid for? To add insult to injury they wanted to know if I wanted them to come back and fix the sidding at MY own expense. Sure why not. I'll do this every five years. After all.... you stand by your labor.

Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience. The contractor called me on many occasions where he raised his voice and I was forced to hang up on him. I finally got the company to agree not to have him call me nor come to my home. When I complain to John, his usual response is that I have to pay more money in order to get something completed to my satisfaction. I expected better from this company because I did not find any unresolved complaints at the BBB website. Some of my original fixtures were used in the two bathrooms so I cannot understand where $10K has gone. It's certainly not to fixtures because I have itemized the dollars he spent on fixtures and it's less than $1500. Had I known that I would be spending this much on labor, I would not have used this company.

Crew worked efficiently, paid attention to details, cleaned work area at end of job.
