The BQ employees were on-time, even calling the night before to confirm?and when they were on their way to my house in the morning. They were professional and made sure to clean up the house before they left. All of the lights look and function great! I didn't have a light fixture picked out for one of the new ceiling boxes at the time of installation?but Brian assured me he would come install it once?we picked one. Overall a great experience, from the day Brian came to give an estimate to the day the work was completed. We will definitely be using them again for any lighting/electrical needs!

I used provider last year and was so happy that I told them at the time my plans to have them back. Brian came by first to see exactly what I needed done. Price was agreed upon along with his suggestions which I needed and were most welcome. A few days later his guys (Bill and Nick) came. They were on time, thoroughly professional and prepared for the work.They performed all tasks in a good manner and worked very carefully not to damage the existing wall. The job turned out just great with only a slight mess which I fully expected considering how much work was done. I commend both Bill and Nick for providing the services I requested and a job well done.Brian is a pleasure to deal with as are the people he employs and will recommend them to my neighbors anytime they need the services of an electrician.

I have been using BQ for years-always prompt, honest. professional, and meticulous with their work. I know others who also work with them, and nobody has anything to say other than very positive comments.

Brian called me to go over my report. He apologized for the mix up in paperwork and is going to come over so we can discuss work that needs to be done and future repairs. I also explained to him that my initial review was meant to be a B, and must have hit C in error. So I apologized to him on my end as well.

They inspected the entire house ans made recommendations

The install was fine. Workers were clean and punctual; however, the attic fan was not sealed correctly and we have a terrible leak coming into our bedroom. They have agreed to come seal it in, so I would use this provider again.

BQ electric performed an inspection of the electric service in my entire house. Approximately two weeks after the inspection, I met with Brian who discussed all the items in the inspection report with me and my wife. He pointed out those items which were dangerous and required immediate attention and those which could wait. His recommendations were fair and honest. My wife and I were totally satisfied that all the work had been done in a professional manner. A strict time schedule was prepared and adhered to and the work was completed exactly as promised.

Brian (Brian Quinn is the BQ of BQ Electric) met with me and corresponded with me a number of times before the job. On the morning of the installation, his foreman Billy arrived promptly with two additional men. A security camera install, like many electrical jobs, is a fluid situation because they never know what they are going to (literally) run into as they start trying to run wires in an unobtrusive way. Billy was expert at dealing with the issues, on the fly and coming up with solutions that worked. The other guys (Nick and Chris, i think . . .) were also very easy to work with and seemed to follow Billy very well. Brian seems to be honest and fair and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

Brian, Bill & the whole team were excellent. Bill showed up for the inspection and was very thorough. He identified everything I wish I found before I bought the house. In talking to him and Brian afterwards, we came up with a list of priority items and would be nice items until we whittled it down to fit my budget. The team was on time and worked non-stop throughout the day to complete the job. They replaced my frayed service cable and my corroded standpipe and panel. Along with a list of cosmetic items listed above they also addressed a big concern for my basement which was full of miscellaneous unorganized wiring from the previous owner and sketchy splices. The team got everything up to where I feel the house is safer and better situated for future home improvement. They also went the extra mile when they found and repaired minor defects outside of the original job scope. Overall, the price was fair and the work was excellent. I recommend BQ electric.

There were two individuals who performed the work (Bill & James). BQ showed up on time both days. We were very satisfied with the work that was performed. The lights were installed and sealed from any weather hazards. The surge protector and breakers that were required were installed properly and there have been no issues. As to the outside line BQ made sure that the PVC pipe housing the house cable was installed neatly since it is on the front of the house. They also made sure that the Verizon wire was also coming into the house was attached properly. Again we were very satisfied and would definately use BQ again.

I had used BQ Electric before and decided to go with them again for this job. I was able to schedule an appointment quickly and did not have to wait several days for a technician to come -- I was offered the next day but took an appointment for two days later as I had to take a day off from work. Billy and Nicky showed up towards the end of my estimated time window. They were both excellent. They checked the circuit and located the issue fairly quickly (burned return wire). While we were checking the circuit I was following a spliced line that Billy noticed on the circuit to see where it went. I pulled on it and saw a spark. Billy checked it immediately and found that the previous owner (or whoever did the work) had drilled a screw through the wire. (It was pretty fortuitous they were there when it happened.) They took care of that as well and then suggested a plan to fix the lines so things would be properly wired. Quote seems reasonable and I trust BQ, so I took them up on it. They have already scheduled this follow-up work for early next week. Once again, it's nice not to have to wait weeks for someone to take care of it.

Brian and team did an excellent job. I will certainly use them for my electrical needs in the future.

Had very nice experience, Brian was extremely helpful and promptly replied my call even at 9pm. Walk me thru all possibility and resolved the electrical problem right over the phone, were others can have easily charged me few. Will be my got to guy for all electrical requirements in future.

Brian is the gentleman who i spoke with and orchestrated all the work through. Bill and his partner came and performed the work. They are all absolute gentleman, a true pleasure to work with and I was extremely comfortable leaving them in my house. Answered all questions, didn't appear to ever take the short cut or cheap way out whatsoever, didn't check the watch, just enjoyed doing the work and explaining the job. We had a bit of a hiccup that evening, as coincidentally we lost power the evening that this work was performed!! Bill came to my house at 9pm with a backup generator, spent an hour triple checking everything and tweaking the balance of load, due to an additional backup freezer we had in the basement that I wanted running. It ended up being a bad generator on my part but he was happy to help, even provide advise on what to get as a replacement. Additionally, their work is very neat. I have already recommended them to two people and am writing this review to do same.

I hired BQ to fix some electrical problems in my rental property. The technician called before arrival, came on time and called me to provide detailed explanation on the problem and the work that needed to be done while only my tenant was at the house and I was not. While my tenant wanted to add some additional work that I didn't agree to previously, BQ kept me informed and tried to get my approval first instead of doing the work as was told by my tenant. They are honest and courtesy and get the job done. I will use them again.

A team of two professionals arrived when scheduled and began to troubleshoot the problem. After a few questions (by them) and answers (by me) they performed circuit testing and zoomed in on the problem and began to fix my electrical power panel. They evaluated the power line outside coming into the house as well as the overall condition of the power panel in my basement. They explained everything to me and actually showed me the problem (corrosion on the circuit breaker contacts). They explained why the corrosion occured and indicated that in the future the entire service may have to be replaced. They replaced the corroded circuit breaker and rearranged the power loads to minimize future contact corrosion issues. The price for this service was as they originally indicated on the phone (no surprises) and was I very pleased with the entire process. I would recommend them.

Technicians (multiple visits) were all punctual, extremely professional, knowledgeable and patient in explaining issues and answering questions. BQ Electrical was responsive both my phone and to email communications. Definitely very satisfied with their services and will absolutely call them again when we next need an electrician. Brian and his crew were excellent. They were professional, neat, diligent, and helpful.

Brian's team - Nick and Tommy - accommodated my work schedule by stopping by in the evening, and they took their time to inspect and change two outlets that were not set in the wall correctly. They also pointed out a dangerous situation with my breaker box - and were the crew who came back to replace it just a few days later. This time they came with two truck and an additional helper, Chris. They were professional, neat (as they had a bit of work both inside and outside to outfit the new service box), and walked me through everything they did - making sure I was comfortable with the new service and every step of their process before they left. Class acts - all 3 of them. Would definitely use BQ again, and would recommend them to others.

I had a little problem setting up a schedule time to do the work as only Brian can give the quote. We played phone tag a few times. Once we got that worked out, everything was seamless. Bill showed up as promised (office called day before to confirm and Bill called in the morning when he was in transit) and did the work exactly as promised. Very professional and would absolutely use again.

I called BQ Electric (which I found on Angie's List) and Brian returned my call. We set up a time for an estimate. Brian arrived on time, told us what he was going to do and how and gave us the price. The men arrived on time, went to work, and completed the job. The work was professional. The men were knowledgeable, competent and very easy to talk to and ask questions and get answers!! Work was done quickly and to my complete satisfaction. The men cleaned up as they went and, when they left, my house looked as though nothing has been touched. I have already arranged to have them install my generator. They are now my electricians. I could not ask for better service and I highly recommend this company to everyone.
