Brian is very responsive and professional. Two of his electricians did all of the work on my home which took about 5 hours. They even came back free of charge to finish the job because I forgot to purchase something cosmetic that I wanted to add. They were clean, neat, friendly and truly took the time to explain everything step by step. They left no dirt on the floors, no marks on the walls... that is something I've had bad experiences with in the past with other contractors. I also had peace of mind knowing that Brian is a volunteer fire fighter in my neighborhood and understands all codes and regulations including what commonly causes house fires. We plan to revamp our entire electrical panel in the spring and will definitely use them again for the job. Highly recommend!

This company should have an A++ rating. They arrived on time (something rare these days), were extremely professional and knowledgeable. They took the extra time to explain their course of action as well as their progress. They left all the work areas in clean condition and we found there prices to be comparable and their work to be of the highest quality. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for an electrician.

Due to the heavy weight of the chandelier the job was much more involved than initially thought. The ceiling would need to be reinforced and the job would take about four hours to complete. The providers took the time to explain in detail what needed to be done and reviewed all my options with me. They were exceptionally nice and professional. I said that I needed some time to decide whether to move ahead with the job due to the increased cost because of the additional work. There was no pressure as well as no charge for the visit. They also fixed a recessed light that was broken without charge. I would highly recommend them

Brian gave a fair price and was true to his word. Provided the fan i requested. The installers were friendly and professional and cleaned up after themselves.

The provider was great --- courteous, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. The provider went over things with us, wich was so greatly appreciated because we don't know anything about electrical work. The provider also brainstorm ideas about how to run new wires in my home without ruining our new paint job. I would definitely recommend them and will have them come back to my home.

We had a lot of electrical issues with our house. We didn't know where to begin. We got quotes from many companies. When we met with Brian at BQ electric, he knew exactly what needed to be done. Brian and his employees were punctual and thorough in their work. The job was complex and the price was extremely reasonable compared to other companies for the work that needed to be done. They cleaned up after the job was done as well. We no longer need to worry about fuses blowing or walking into a dark room trying to find a lamp. I have since recommended BQ Electric to many friends who are also extremely pleased with their work. If any work needs to be done in the future, I will absolutely use their services again.

After two other service providers failed to get it right, B and Q came through. I called B and Q in the early a.m. I got an immediate call back by Brian who listened to the problem (saga really). Another electrical company did not have the part, another wanted to "update" my whole panel. All I needed was a new breaker . I explained all this to Briian and he assured me the electrician could replace the breaker and would have it on his truck. I asked for asap scheduling because the breaker controls my central A/C unit. I got an appointment that day--and it was not really an emergency . The electrician came on time, was very professional and the cost was exactly as quoted. The repair was successful I Since this only took a few minutes I was able to discuss two other electrical needs with the electrician .

We are completely satisfied with the service. They were able to resolve a complicated issue with the door bell. When there was a problem with the replacement timer I had purchased, they had another timer in the truck which was a better fit. We will definitely use BQ Electric again.

nice guys - punctual, fast & neat - came across a possibly dangerous problem which they will fix in the near future

LIPA was at my house shutting down my power on Sunday night and they were the only company that called me back that same night. They encouraged me to get other quotes, their price was in line with every other company. They weren't the cheapest and they weren't the most expansive, which both concern me. When a company is the cheapest I expect them to either do a cheap job or rip me off by adding stuff on. When a company is too exspanive obivously I'm getting rip off..... Regarding the work they did; They did exactly what they said they were going to do with no surprises, they came when they said they were going too and they finished up before they said they would. Everything is back online and working great, better than before my outage. A contractor was doing work at my house at the same time they were here, he was so impressed with the work they did that the boss reach out to them to do jobs for him. I would highly recommend them. I already scheduled them to come back to do more work on my house. So hopefully I'll have another good review in a couple of weeks.

Our old attic fan had stopped working and we had already replaced just the motor eight years ago. It was time to upgrade and get everything new. I went right to Angie's list to look up a company and called several. I got a few prices and with this very intense heat, jobs can only be done early morning, making a service date hard to get. What was most impressive about BQ Electric was that his price was the best and then he has a coupon on Angie's List for an additional fifty dollars off! Brian was very polite, was able to give me a date in a reasonable amount of time, and was always available by phone. He called to confirm the day before and called afterwards to make sure we were happy with the job. The guys that came to do the job were very nice and it was unbearably hot on my very steep roof. They got everything installed and working great. I would highly recommend this company and would definitely use them again.

They arrived on time. Took out old fan installed new one and on/off switch. Tested system. They were done in an hour, very professional. there was no mess, nothing to clean up after they left. If we need electricians again we will definitely call Bryan at BQ Electric Inc. and when asked for a recommendation we will not hesitate to give their name to anyone.

It went absolutely fantastic!!! BQ Electric are the best electricians that I have come across. They are on time, do a clean job, quick, polite, extremely knowledgeable, and reliable. This is the 3rd time I have used them and am completely satisfied. I would recommend them to anyone needing an electrician.

They came a few days before to look at the job and gave an estimate. The appointment was set up for 6/11/13. They called the day to confirm the time and date. The morning of the job they called and said they were on the road and would arrive at the schedule time which was 8 AM. The workers arrived and we discussed the job and how they would be doing the job. Since they would be cutting into the wall and running the lines from the basement up to the attic and dropping the lines from there. They put drop cloths in the work areas. It was difficult running lines in the attic due to a small crawl space, but they did without any complaining. The easier way might have been to run conduit outside the house but felt as I did, you really do not want conduit running outside of the house. They had suggestions to do as little cutting of the existing walls, and we discussed it. I really liked that we discussed everything that was going to be done and asked for approval before doing any work. At the end of the job, everything was cleaned up and spackled up any holes which needed to be cut. I told the gentlemen, I would be using them for any electrical work which I need in the future. That afternoon, I received a call from the office to check on how did the job go, was I satisfied with the work, and were the workers professional to which I answered yes to everything. I also told the office I would be using them in the future and would recommend the company to my friends.

It went terrific. They were in and out in three hours. Brian, the co-owner, was very competitive and very reasonable. He has a great personality and does work was top notch. He was very flexible with me since the work was being done in New York and I am North Carolina.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Brian and his crew along with Bill did an amazing job. They took care of my home like it was their own. Extremely neat when cleaning up and even spackled up the holes when they were done. Could not beat the price or workmanship. I would recommend BQ Electric to anyone and will be using them to put High Hat lighting in my kitchen. Thank you Brian and crew everything came out perfect!

After what was thankfully a small fire with the potential to get out of control quickl I called BQ to inspect the outside outlet to see what the problem was. Within hours Billy was at my house and within a few minutes he identified the problem and source. Since it was late Billy shut off the power to the source of the electrical fire, making the house safe for us to stay in. Early the next morning Billy and his worker Mike came and started removing all the electrical wires in the crawl space which were filled with salt water from Hurricane Sandy. Billy took into conisderation that I have an infant and he left the refrigerator, microwave and stove hooked up so I'd be able to care for and feed my daughter throughout the day. Billy and Mike worked all day to get the wires ran and hooked up so life could get back to normal. They were professional, worked well togeher, worked efficiently and cleaned up after themselves. It was nice knowing I could have the house rewired and made safe again while not having a mess to clean up.

They started bright & early as planned. Since our service would be turned off all day, Billy suggested temporary service to the refrigerator so our food would not spoil. We are putting in a new kitchen so all of the lighting and outlets needed to be refigured...Billy & Brian offered many suggestions on high hats, pendant lighting, switches & outlets. Everything went as planned and the work was finished sooner than expected. We were putting off the upgrade because we thought it would be a nightmare but it truly went smoothly and we are happy we got it done.

I called the day before and Brian was able to fit me in the schedule for the following day. They called before they arrived, arrived promptly on time, laid down tarp so they wouldn't get my floors dirty coming in and out of the house. They detected a potential fire hazzard that had been created by a roofing company who placed the fan. All in all, they were very quick, efficient, the price was good and I would definitely recommend them to my family and friends looking for an electrician.

I RECENTLY BOUGHT A SPA AND NEEDED MY SERVICE UPGRADED AND SPA HOOKED UP. I CALLED BRIAN FOR A FREE ESTIMATE HE SHOWED UP TIMELY AND WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND COURTEOUS. THE CREW FROM BQ ELECTRIC ARRIVED ON TIME AND THEY WERE VERY NEAT AND EFFICIENT. BRIAN ALSO STOPPED TO MAKE SURE THAT EVERYTHING WAS GOING WELL. THE JOB WAS COMPLETED THE SAME DAY AND WE WERE VERY SATISFIED ALL AROUND. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AND WILL BE USING THEM FOR ANY FUTURE WORK THAT WE MAY NEED.

Installation was performed flawlessly. Work was neat and area was left clean. Provided clear and precise instructions on the connection and operation of the generator and transfer switch. Simulated power outage and had me run test connecting the generator and operating the transfer switch. I would definitely recommend BQ Electric.

Brian was very professional and honest,did everything on time and looks great. I have a Levitt cape so running electric is not easy. He told me he had plenty of experience with the levitt capes and him and his guys did a great job. They made very little cuts in walls to snake wires and they restored everything. My hi hats look amazing as well as all the new a/c outlets put in around house. Good, honest electricians are not easy to find. I would recommend BQ electric to anyone looking for electric work done.
