Previously I purchased the big deal for a complete home inspection . I was impressed with the detailed report and decided to have the work done. A team of electricians arrived on time and were very professional and polite. They were very organized and proceeded to complete everything outlined in the report. They changed outlets , upgraded the service , installed dedicated lines for air conditioners and dryer, relocated power switches , repaired the dishwasher , replaced the attic fan and added a outdoor power outlet . They organized the cables and wires neatly inside and out . Thank you BQ for your fine work . Look forward to the next time .

The job went great!!! Team was amazing and they knew what they were ding stone-cold. They always went an extra mile and spent extra time on everything to make sure it was done right the first time. I am thrilled with the way the job was done. Totally will use these guys again if I need electrical work

I called them for my elderly neighbor who had a power surge from her pole outside. It resulted in shorting out her entire system. Brian came on Labor Day to assess the situation and promised to come back the next day to do the entire job. Tommy and Sonny came and couldn't have been nicer. They would not leave until every outlet , light, t.v. etc. was checked. They were very patient with all the questions and confusion. I would definitely use them myself for any electrical problems and upgrades. I would highly recommend them.

It went great. The whole team was a pleasure to work with. They are super responsive, and I couldn't believe how knowlegable and friendly the inspection team was. They schedule the inspection, two people come to look at all of the wiring, outlets, etc. Then they come back with a report. I never felt pressured by Brian who is our sales rep to do everything they recommend, but we are definitely going to move forward with some of the work they recommended.

Brian, Bill, and the rest of the team at BQ are amazing. Within a day of calling them they had a guy at the property assessing the situation and had a quote the next day. Extremely prompt professional service!

Brian was responsive and professional throughout the process (first contact, providing a quote, scheduling the work, performing the work, following up as needed). Everything was done on time and as per quote. No complaints. I would use BQ Electric again in the future.

The men arrived when they said they would, they were professional and friendly/ The only reason I gave a good for the price is that I didn't price the job with anyone else so I am unsure of it is a good price. I would call them again

The electricians arrived on time. They explained they would inspect the entire electrical system that includes all outlets, cables, and Box . The connections in the attic was checked including the fan . BQ also inspected the exterior including electric awning, lighting fixtures and outdoor lighting . The report was completed and met with Mr. Quinn to review the inspection and decided to have all the recommended work done. The explanation of the report was very clear and I was very impressed .

There were some minor lapses in communication, and it took them a while to follow up with an estimate for repairing the issues that they found. Aside from this, everything turned out well for the most part.

I purchased a $39 whole-house inspection, and scheduled an appointment. Bill (the tech) and another tech came over and did their thing. Very knowledgable and professional. Next step was an appointment with Brian, the owner. He came by and gave an estimate. Scheduled a time for the install, but due to a hiccup started very late. I was a bit frustrated at the delay, but Brian was a stand-up guy and made things right by me for the delay. Not too many owners would admit fault and try to make things right. Bill and several others finally came and did an excellent job on the install. Some cracks here and there due to wiring, but I can easily deal with it. My wife felt Bill and his team were very professional, polite, and efficient. I would recommend them to my friends and family, as well as use them again myself.

Excellent service. Brian, the owner, called back within the time given on placing my order. He was very detailed in describing what would be done and guaranteeing that there would be no leaks or problems with the installation. I'm counting on that! The two young men that came for the installation called ahead of arrival as promised, were very courteous and did the job well within the time frame given. I was given an explanation again of the job that would be done and after finished they checked everything out to make sure there were no vibrations or noises. I didn't go up on the roof myself, but my son will check it out this weekend. One of the best experiences I've ever had with an installation--I'd definitely go to this contractor again if any electric service is needed in my home.

I'm very happy with the work that BQ Electric performed. Bryan was easy to reach, responsive and communicative throughout the whole process. His crew is really top notch and professional, they work quickly, get the job done right and avoid making a mess. Even though the house was undergoing remodeling, they were extremely considerate and took great care to avoid damaging anything (floors / counters). There was a slight mix up with the work to be done but Bryan and his crew took responsibility and quickly resolved the situation to my satisfaction. Overall a pleasure to work with, very competitive pricing and a great value. BQ electric will be my first choice for any future electrical work.

Brian, the owner, as well as his workers were all very professional and was able to juggle his schedule to make sure the work was completed on very short notice as my daughter's 21st birthday was to be celebrated over the weekend. No lights or outlets for a backyard party would've been a disaster. I had recently installed a ceiling fan in my Florida room that I showed Brian and asked him if he could make the top piece flush with the ceiling (I wasn't able to). He offered to fix it free of charge and when he checked further he noticed I was missing a part which could've caused the fan to dislodge and fall. He disconnected it and ordered the part and is scheduled to fix it when the part comes in. Brian is a conscientious, fair electrician who I would highly recommend and will certainly use for future electrical work.

Brian is the owner and a master electrician. He is accessible and extremely responsive at all times. From the beginning he was the first company to quote the job. His quote turned out to be most fair for the professionalism he displayed. His knowledge of how to get the job done saved me money as well. I interviewed 4 others and none were as responsive to my needs as Brian was. The job was completed to perfection. It was neat and meticulous. They even avoided damaging the ceiling that others said they could not guarantee. Brian had two of his electricians on the job. When they encountered challenges, because running the wires to the panel was not an easy run, Brian rolled up his sleeves and figured it out for them. Other electricians thought that they would have to run the wiring outside the house at a greater cost. Brian's expertise in construction saved me several hundred dollars. Additionally, the workers told me after he left, that Brian treats them very well and is great to work for. The workers were professional, neat, respectful and caring as well. What excellent training for a small business. I was extremely impressed from beginning to end. My decision to use BQ Electric turned out to be one of those great decisions in life. Brian is caring, takes pride in his work and a man of his word. He is generous in providing materials that were not discussed to complete the job. The crew was equipped to handle anything that could be anticipated. My experience with BQ more than exceeded my expectations. I am a delighted and satisfied customer. I could not imagine a better experience from beginning to end!!!! This is the company for your electrical needs, big job or small job. Hands down, consider them a great choice. I never thought that I would ever feel so compelled to give such a glowing review to someone that I had to hire to do work in my house. Imagine feeling happy when paying for a project that you dreaded. I am!

I have used BQ electric many times and every time I am blown away by the workmanship they do and how friendly and knowledgable their employees are. They are very neat and the job is always completed on time. I will always use BQ electric for my electric needs. Thank you BQ for outstanding work!

They arrived at the prearranged time. They worked carefully in order not to mess up and disturb the area they were working with.. They put a drop cloth to make sure there was no dirt. And when the job was finished, they wiped around the ceiling to make sure that there were no marking.They worked very well as a team.

Brian contacted us today & was beyond apologetic for not getting back to us. I would contact him again for any additional services we might need based upon our conversation

Brian was very professional returning calls and scheduling the appointment. Alan and Bill came and called to give me a 20 min heads up. They were prompt, polite , professional and neat . I was extremely pleased with the work and the way it was handled. They showed me everything and explained what was needed to be done. The final cost was within the estimate that Brian quoted my husband over the phone. I highly recommend BQ Electric and will definitely use them in the future for all our electrically work.

They were punctual and courteous. The workers were very professional and knowledgeable about everything. They gave great advice on the attic fan and were able to explain the existing problems in terms that I could understand. Brian is great to talk to and explains everything well. Working with Brian and his crew was a pleasure. I was impressed with Brian's professionalism when we met and I was equally impressed by his crew. They arrived right on time and went right to work. The price was right and they did a beautifuljob.

I found BQ Electric via Angie?s List after encountering less than professional local electricians, which weren?t too good with promptly returning phone calls and who seemed more bothered by the ?small scope of work? that I was looking at having done. I was looking to run a couple of lines for air conditioners (one was a new line going up to the second floor), plus I was trying to determine if my electric panel needed to be upgraded. I selected BQ because of its sterling rating and reputation on Angie?s List. I contacted BQ via email through Angie?s List late in the evening, probably close to 10pm. The next morning, I received a confirmation email stating that they would contact me via phone. Sure enough, I had received a call from Brian around 9:30am. We spent over twenty (20) minutes on the phone discussing the scope of work. I found his pricing to be fair and straightforward. I scheduled my work for the following week. The day of the appointment, the electricians called at 8:05am informing me that they were en route and would arrive in approximately a half hour. When the two electricians arrived, they were easily identifiable, as they were in a BQ Electric emblazoned company van and were wearing BQ Electric company shirts. The technicians promptly placed tarps at the entrance and in the work areas to protect the floor and furniture/appliances. To their credit, when they checked the first floor wiring, and to my pleasant surprise, they determined that a new line wasn't necessary. After ascertaining that the line was a dedicated line, they replaced the existing breaker in the electric panel with a lower amperage breaker, due to the gauge of the existing wire. I?d like to point out that this alternate work solution was completed at a fraction of the original quote. The technicians performed their work under less-than-ideal conditions, including a hot attic and cramped basement crawlspace, and performed their work fastidiously. They also identified and corrected a wiring issue in the basement crawlspace. They cleaned-up and, except for the new outlet, left little evidence of their work. Overall, I would say that BQ Electric was professional, trustworthy, competent and affable. I would certainly give BQ Electric a call for any future work needed around my home.

My 2 family rental had electrical issues wherein the upstairs tenants could not use their air conditioning because the circuits would shut off. I found out that LIPA had also shut off the electricity for the ground floor due to non-payment by my previous tenant; however, there was still power in the ground floor apartment, which seemed to have been piggy backed off the 2nd floor. I asked Brian to fix whatever the issues were. I explained that I lived out of state. It is not easy being a long-distance landlord and I am always fearful of contractors or vendors that may take my money and run without providing me the services as promised. Brian immediately put me at ease, and I am happy to say that today, both apartments have very happy tenants, and I am one happy landlord.

The electricians, Tommy and Jason were punctual, professional, and very informative - this was the easiest, most pleasant experience I have had with any kind of repair/improvement job - will be using these guys for any/all electrical jobs I have in the future.
