Bobby, the electrician from Nichols Electric was professional, timely and responded concisely to all our questions concerning the various processes he performed. We were especially appreciative to Nichols Electrical for not charging us for a return trip due to a scratched fan blade, which was packaged and received directly from the manufacturer,. We found the e-mails from Nichols Electrical responsive and helpful. Overall, we were very satisfied with our experience with Nichols Electrical. Thank you for a job well done.

3.5 hours all 4 cameras installed in the eves, wires drawn through the attic to my computer room and all functional. Two of the most pleasant electricians, clean, quiet, respectful of the house (shoes off) and a pleasure to work with! One element of the quote did not have to be performed and the bill was adjusted accordingly on the spot. My electrical service provider of choice for any other projects .

From the moment I got the quote I knew I was dealing with professionals. They did the work at a fair price and great service. They were timely and communicated well. You knew what was to be done, when it would be done and what to expect. They coordinated with our local power supplier, town and took care of everything. I highly recommend Nichols Electric!

A young man came on 8/23 to give us an estimate. Even though the three reminders sent to me stated that if the estimate was accepted the work could be done right then, the young man said the job was "too big" for him to give an estimate. He said we would receive the estimate either 8/25 or 8/27. Here it is, Sept. 1st and we have received nothing. I know they have our info as we received 3 emails & 3 texts.

Tim arrived right on time and after introducing himself he explained what the “process” would be. I explained the problem that I was having and he got right to work performing a full house safety inspection. Tim then got right to work testing outlets and switches on the dead circuit. It took him about 10-15 minutes to isolate the problem and another 15 minutes to repair and clean up. Tim was very cordial and professional, explaining everything he was finding along the way.

Two employees showed up on time to discuss the recess lighting layout for our kitchen and living room and promptly began work. They cut drywall and installed (11) 6" recess lights with LED trims on the main floor with four dimmers. 16 old recess lights in the basement were replaced with modern units. Several old light fixtures were removed and one was replaced with a chandelier. Also, they removed a hood range and installed an electrical outlet in the cabinet above the range (this was added to the project after it was initially scheduled, so it was nice they fit it in). Although they don't do drywall work, I was notified of that during the quote process and the workers labeled the pieces of drywall in case they could be re-used. The entire project was finished in less than a day, as promised. We've been using the lights and dimmers for almost a month now and they are fantastic!

It was an old style heater, but Steve was able to find one , and everything went great. This is the second time I have used them, and I have been very pleased with their service. Very friendly staff.

This company was GREAT! Steve called me within 10 mins of me messaging him. He came out right away and was very detailed on what was needed to be done. He had a quote for us within a couple of days and had a crew out within a week. The crew worked hard and kept me informed on what they were doing and offered suggestions on ways to protect my house. We had the power in our bathroom go out and wanted to get that fixed as well as have a look at some other things we had wanted to get done. When we called to discuss the issue, I left a message and received a callback promptly. The phone experience was great and they were able to arrange for a technician to come out the next day and were upfront about explaining everything for the service visit. On the day of the service, Tim, the technician, texted 20 minutes prior to arrival. Tim was great: polite, respectful, clear as day in explaining the issues and what would need to get done. The estimates all felt fair and he did the work very efficiently, all while entertaining my questions. We were very happy with the service and we will be looking to contact Nichols for our future electrical needs.

It was a bit of a hassle taking the old one out, but Tim stayed until it was done. Of course the new one went in, no trouble at all. He had to charge me an extra $50 to for going overtime by a half hour. But I didn’t mind. It was worth it

Steve Nichols contacted us within an hour of putting in the request. He scheduled a time to come out and look at the job that day. We received the quote the next morning. Once I approved the quote they had the job scheduled within 2 days. The employee that came out was very nice, efficient and cleaned up after himself.

Great job! We got exactly what we needed and the guys were able to work around the existing structure in an old (50's) house. Now the breaker doesn't trip every other time we use the microwave :)

An honest estimate, honest work for honest pay. Steve was great to work with on the phone and through email contact and the 2 people who came to do the job were on time, honest, respectful and friendly besides doing an excellent job. I found my new Electrician for any future work.

Nichols came out and gave a timely estimate, and still honored it a few month later when I finally decided to get the work done! They did change how they were going to run the wire without notifying me, but in this case it is an apartment and I did not much care either way. On a personal home though I would imagine they should call about such a change. I was left with a quarter sized hole into the house not filled with anything which I will take care of later, but would have been good to get notified. Other than that, permits were pulled and all was done as it should be. great work! Thanks.
