They came in and did the inspection. They also made some recommendations which we chose not to go with right now. The gentleman was very professional and it was a fine inspection.

Steve was excellent. He came to my house originally to help install a new electrical box for a bathroom light. He was so good, I asked if he could come back to help with ceiling fan by the end of the week. Alhough he was busy, he came back on Saturday morning to do the job . He installed a new ceiling fan where there was no current fixture so that required him to cut a hole in the ceiling and run the electrical to that spot. He gave good suggestions for accessing the fan (we installed a double light switch to control it). He was very polite, efficient and cleaned up very well. I couldn't be happier and I would definitely use him again.

Steve was wonderful! We couldn't be more pleased.He arrived promptly and we showed him the fixture we wanted removed and the new fixture to be installed. He got to work quickly and when it was installed he looked at a finicky closet light that would work sometimes and at other times just blink on and off. He tighten it up and recommended if it loosens up and begins behaving that way in the future we replace it. Then he listened to us talk about not having as much light as we'd like in the kitchen and recommend a few things we could try. One of the things he recommended was swapping the bulbs in the overhead fixture, which we did later that afternoon.The next day there was a sudden bang and the globe of the overhead fixture was in a hundred pieces. We notified Steve right away and he made room in his busy schedule to return the next afternoon. We picked up a new fixture in the morning and again as promised Steve arrived right on time, and quickly removed the old fixture and replaced it for us. He didn't charge us for the second visit.We most definitely will be calling Nichols Electrical Contracting for all our future electrical projects and repairs!

Excellent, Steve solved a wiring problem that I had as I was trying to install a light fixture. He explained in detail, was on time and completed the work in 30 minutes as estimated. I would recommend him locally, as I have had bad experiences with other electrical contractors in the past (cost overruns, quality issues, etc).

Mr. Nichols and his son came out that day. They quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem circuit. We also discussed the benefits of a whole-house surge protector and we decided to have him install it while he was already at our house. They responded quickly, they did their job quickly, and their rates appeared quite reasonable. They were professional and we would hire them again.

I am so impressed!!! I called and he answered the phone himself...told him what I wanted done and he told me how much.His prices are great compared to others...He set up the time he would come and was exactly on time. He did the job quickly and effeciently .Never left a mess. Very nice man to have work done for you. I will definately have him in the future and will reccommend him to all my friends. He certainly is an AAAAAAA plus electrician.

They were scheduled to begin at 8:30 and came around 9. They worked non-stop for over 4 hours. I am very pleased with the work. We do have an issue with turning the lights on outside from the house so they ordered a new system and I expect it to be installed in the next week. They have also ordered some caps that they didn't have with them. Neither of these are major issues and I expect complete resolution. I would recommend them to anyone who wants quality electrical work at a fair price.

Steve upgraded a very old push-button style circuit breaker panel with a new one and installed the whole house surge protector. Overall, I am very pleased with the work. Steve came back the next day with his son to help me label the circuits and didn't charge me extra. Will definitely use Steve for other electrical work, if needed.

Everything went very well; he and his son were most professional.

We had a short in a major breaker that wouldn't allow us to reset it - Steve and son came out promptly (in between other jobs) and worked quickly and methodically to track it down. The only issue I have is that three of the electrical outlets were not put back together and left dangling, and at each place he worked, all the old trash (sockets, screws, etc) were left behind and I had to clean it up.Good prompt work, but little in the way of clean up or completion of the little things that make a difference. In addition, he promised a follow up quotation on a different job that I still don't have, two weeks later.
