Steve came to our house within a hour after calling him. He quickly determined the cause of my problem and corrected it. He worked very efficiently and wasted no time in completing the task. His cost was very reasonable.

Mr Nichols arrived promptly with his son on a Saturday morning. They were both very courteous. Mr. Nichols answered all of our questions and it was obvious that he was extremely knowledgable of his profession. Although he had an emergency electrical issue that he needed to tend to he was still willing and gracious about doing all of the little things on our punch list and completed everything we asked. He left knowing that we would be calling him again in a month or so to address a couple of other electrical projects we have in mind and that we would and will recommend him to all of our family and friends. We are VERY satisfied with our experience with Mr. Nichols and look forward to doing business with him again.

He came out and looked at my situation but the Deal will not solve my problem. I have 150 amp service and the Deal is for a 200 AMP upgrade. I have a circuit that is always blowing out or tripping because there is too much on it. He told me that putting in a 200 amp service wouldn’t do anything; I need to separate things on the circuit so that it won’t be overloaded anymore. I think he is an honest individual. He did reach out to me within 2 days to schedule and gave me a window of time when he would come and he was punctual.

I bought an Angie's List Big Deal from Nichols Electrical for $99. Steve called me before I had the chance to call in order to schedule the service. Scott, one of the electricians, came when scheduled and completed the job quickly and perfectly. He cleaned up after himself, and other than the electrical box that was installed, it was as if he hadn't been here. I would definitely recommend using Nichols' services!

We used the Angie's list big deal for a whole house surge protector. We were happy with the ease of scheduling, the actual installation, and the quality of work. All work was done quickly and professionally, and the installer took the time to explain what he was doing. We were happy with the results of the big deal, and with Nichols.

They were able to complete the job below their original estimate by installing a multi-breaker unit into existing box and not having to install a separate sub-panel. Also, there were major issues running the power cord into the room without any wall damage. Very precise and professional!

I first called about 2 outlets that weren't working, and Mr. Nichols returned my call immediately and told me over the phone how to fix one of the problems. I called again 2 days later to ask him to look at the other outlet, and he came out the same day and fixed the problem. He was prompt, fast, and professional.

He came with his son and within 1/2 hour had solved all the problems. He charged me for the service call and 1/2 hour of labor plus parts. It was all handled very professionally. He obvioiusly knows what he is doing. I would definitely use him again if anymore electrical problems arise.

The 2 men arrived the same day I called. They were polite and did a good job in a short period of time.

I was able to get on the schedule in a reasonable amount of time, they showed up on schedule & finished in the amount of time they said they would.

excellent, Steve arrived in a timely manner, was very professional and got the fan installed quickely and without any troubles. I have waited for another electrician from the victor area (Rogers Electric) since August) to install the fan and they never showed up).I will definitely use Steve at Nichols again for my other electrical repair/installation needs. Steve & his son came - they were very helpful, professional, and quick. They did a great job.

Steve was in and out in about a half hour with both outlets complete. They were on-time, very polite and friendly. I am very happy with the install and will use them again in the future.

This was an inspection package that includes a house inspection to find potential electrical problems, My problem is not with Nichols Electric. They are OK. The problem was with the deal package which for most people may be unnecessary and gives the electrician (or auto dealer or home inspector) a chance to look for potential problems, serious or not so serious. If you are considering buying a property (or auto) it is worth hiring someone to look for potential problems however if you have owned a home or vehicle for a period of time, I suggest you follow a routine maintenance guide and call a professional to troubleshoot a specific problem. Something like...don't fix it if it ain't broke.

After someone from Nichols came to look at the job, we found the deal I purchased was not going to work for my needs. I was very impressed with the company, though. I was happy with the representative that came. He was helpful and showed up right away.

This is the second time we used Nichols Electical and we were not disappointed. As expected from his first job, Steve provided excellent technical performance, effective communication and timely completion of the multi-day job. We agreed the price would vary according to how difficult the trenching of the wiring would be. I actually had the people who were repairing the irrigation system do the trenching, to save Steve time - and me money. As I have come to expect of Steve, the job was very cleanly done. Steve is highly professional, easy to work with and eager to perform a first class job. This job was somewhat different from his usual line of work, but Steve adapted well. I have found that the key having work done effectively is to communicate exactly what you want to the contractor. Steve wants to understand your expectations and will work with you on this.

First, I did not know there was a time limit on my Big Deal. When I found out it had expired I agreed to pay an extra $59.00 service charge to have someone come over and install the light fixture I had bought for my bedroom ceiling fan. He was punctual an professional. He had to rewire the bedroom outlet and looked at all the house outlets as part of the service. I appreciated his thoroughness in examining the house wiring.

We lost power to all the outlets in our family room, the fan/light in the family room, and a few more lights throughout the first floor of the house. It took a little longer than I expected to find the problem, but it was difficult! Once found, Scott corrected the problem right away and put everything back the way it was. He also taught me a few things about electrical circuits. The price was fair and Scott is a hard worker. I appreciate their help and will be doing business with them again in the near future for some expansion work.

I highly recommend Steve Nichols Electric. We hired them to install lighting and electricity in the house on three different occasions. He did the job absolutely perfectly and efficiently. He and his sons work together and all of them are extremely professional and polite. They showed up on time, worked quickly and carefully, and the cost was less than I had expected. The chandeliers that they installed for us were very large, awkward, and EXTREMELY fragile. I was very impressed with how carefully Steve and his sons handled the entire job. Also, we have a cat that likes to sneak outside and Steve and his sons were all very careful not to let the cat get outside when they were coming and going. I would recommend them for any job you need done.

He was running about a half hour later than he first thought. He called well in advance to warn me and then again when he was on his way. He diagnosed my bad plug and changed that and another bad breaker in about 35 minutes. Very nice gentleman.

At the last minute we decided to use our old electric stove to help with preparing our thanksgiving dinner. My wife called Nichols Electrical on a Monday morning. By lunchtime they had come to our house, installed the outlet and fixed another non-related issue we were having. All of this was done at a reasonable price. What a pleasant experience. These guys are real professionals and I recommend giving them a try.

Called Steve and he was hear within two hours and replaced switch promptly. Nice guy to deal with, very professional and very fast. Couldn't be better.

I called Steve and he arrived within an hour of my call. He scoped out the extent of the problem and very quickly found an old electrical receptacle that was causing the problem because of pressure from furniture against the plug in the receptacle. He was knowledgable, prompt, and charged what I thought was a reasonable amount for this great service. I'll go back to Steve [and his helper, his son] anytime!

When I first called Steve I discussed my problems. He came prepared and got right to work. He was professional and quick. His son came also to help and educationed me further on the fuse box.
