Unfriendly, pushy sales atmosphere, everything is overpriced, and lots of quietly hidden extra fees. We purchased equipment form ACR almost 20 years ago and didn't like them then, but decided to give them another try - what a mistake! They act like you are lucky to be there. They talk to you like they are doing you a favor or giving you something (even small things) - saying things like, "Here, take this, it will come in handy when you're diving" but this all ends up on your bill. They act friendly and say "That's no problem!" when you have to make a slight change in scheduling (like joining a different class that isn't even full) or switching out something little (like a strap or connector) but then after the fact, there is a fee you have to pay. They will nickel and dime you for everything, but when it comes to expensive dive equipment, it's often hundreds or thousands of dollars! PLEASE DON'T GO HERE, there are better options out there. We ended up going to a place in Buffalo, NY to get the rest of our supplies just to avoid going back to ACR!!
