Hector came to look at job and had me waiting for an estimate that never came.

I contacted Hector the day before we were supposed to have a big snow storm to get an estimate for snow removal. He told me he would arrive at my home that same day to look at the property and give me an estimate. He was punctual and gave me a written out estimate (not just verbal). They removed snow from the sidewalk, 2 driveways, 2 walkways and front steps. They also removed the snow from our car parked in the driveway. They did not shoot the snow at my neighbors' property, which I appreciate. The price was a little high, but his team did an excellent job and were professional and punctual. I am willing to pay a little more since the reliability, quality and professionalism make it worth it. I would recommend them.

The two workers first put dropcloths on the stairs and hallways, then set up a shop-vac to vacuum the dust from the sheetrock before they started working. They worked for about 2 1/2 to 3 hours and then cleaned up so that all was as good as new. They were very careful with the paint and did an excellent job on the repair and the painting. They were thoroughly courteous and professional all the way. Hector, their supervisor, was here at the beginning and the end of the job. He made sure everything looked good and asked me how I liked the job. I told him it was excellent and they deserved an A rating on Angie's List.

They did exactly what I've requested. Very professional and punctual, gave good advise. Did not push me to buy unnecessary things. Explained important issues and was available via text after work was done to answers any questions I've forgot to ask about maintenance of sod.

He was one of the only providers to return my call in the midst of a quick succession of three gigantic snowfalls. I was kind of shocked by the price he quoted, but he showed me invoices from other jobs he'd just done and that was just what it cost. This wasn't the kind of job for neighborhood kids with a shovel; it required heavy machinery to remove the five feet of snow and ice from my driveway. So: price was fair and he was responsive, which is often worth the price itself.

Everything was done to perfection. They were quick and easy to work with. Their workers were prompt, friendly and professional. They were phenomenal!

He's on time and works quickly. He's very professional. He's reasonable and he can work with you financially; set a time line, no pressure to get the job done. I highly recommend him.

Hector and his crew are amazing. I needed to re-hab an apartment after tenant moved out. Hector came and gave estimate with utmost professionalism. His crew was there exactly when he said they would be and their work is amazing!! Better thank I expected. Can't wait to use them again.

The men came promptly after the snow stopped, sometimes during the evening and on weekends. They cleared the driveway, the front steps and sidewalk and put down ice melt or some kind of sand so these areas woudn't get icey to the best of their ability. They came when it was very slushy so it wouldn't freeze. This was very helpful.

Everything went really well. They were punctual, reliable, and did a beautiful job in all respects. In fact, they did such a remarkable job that they're coming back to do some additional work in the near future.

I needed a reliable snow removal service for a corner house (lots of sidewalk) located near a public school. I found Santon on Angie’s List and Hector was every bit as good as the many positive reviews I read here. Although it was a brutal winter with snowstorm after snowstorm, I was able to rely on Hector to get the job done every time. He is not only reliable but also polite and a pleasure to deal with. The prices are high, but I felt it was worth it for the peace of mind and excellent customer service.

Hector Sasaguay has performed a wide variety of construction and landscaping work over the past 2 years both inside and outside my home totaling approximately $47,500. He has consistently demonstrated dedication, superior workmanship, and attention to my very specific requests. His responses to my calls were invariably immediate. Mr. Sasaguay’s work was completed correctly the first time and my instructions were followed in every detail. I solicited multiple price quotes before selecting a contractor, and Mr. Saraguay’s prices were consistently among the most competitive. Moreover, all work was completed within promised deadlines. Mr. Sasaguay’s employees likewise demonstrated these qualities, precisely following instructions and completing projects with courteous service.

Overall, Hector and his team did a great job. They were professional and they cleaned up after themselves every time they worked on the project. They did a great job finishing off our pavers and the deck foundation and floor came out awesome in the Trex material we asked for. They only issue was we asked for a platform step up to the pool. We wanted all materials used to be Trex and during the building Hector suggested we go with white for the platform step instead of the brown we were using for the flooring to have some contrast. We liked the idea and ASSUMED he would be using White Trex materials. The project was started on 7/26 and we told him we needed the deck finished as soon as possible because we were having a party on 8/9. He didn't finish the deck until 8/8. On 8/8 he showed up with white NON-TREX material for the step. We felt we had no choice, but to accept the material he showed up with because if we didn't the deck would not have been complete for the party the next day!. The deck step looks good, but I am concerned as to the durability of the material he used. The remainder of the deck did come out awesome and as promised. He also originally quoted us $4,000.00 for the deck and then mid-stream told us because of the additional detail work needed for the step that he had to increase the price to $4,500.00. I would have been OK with that if the step had been completed in Trex as well, but it was not. Again, overall a great job, but a few sticking points that to me as the user are crucial. We would use him again, but would definitely ask him to give us better detail in the initial quote.

The pet enclosure is adequate (not beautiful), but it serves the purpose of keeping my pets safe while allowing them to enjoy being outside. The doors are just what I wanted,and the roof repairs are fine. The problems arose with the driveway. The concrete is rough, and now there is a hairline crack from one side to the other. The workers did a lot of damage to my lawn by getting concrete dust all over it, and they burned sections of grass by leaving their tools on the lawn in the hot sun. I have a brick wall around my lawn, and the bricks are covered with concrete. I tried to clean the bricks, but I was unable to get the concrete off. I called Hector about the lawn and the bricks. He came to my house to assess the damage, and he promised to return with some sod to repair the grass. He also said he would send someone to clean the concrete off of the bricks. It has been almost a month, and I have not heard from him. I had high hopes for this company. I even recommended them to some of my friends. I found that Hector was very responsive before I paid him, but now that there are issues that need to be corrected he is no where to be found. I actually have other projects to be done, but I will certainly look for someone else to do them.

Provider was punctual and courteous. Prices quoted for deck work and landscaping were placed on a proposal quote sheet. Appeared to be lacking sufficient detail. But also got the feeling that there was not a lot of thought given to the quote. Prices appeared to be coming off the top of his head without much detail to support the price.

Owner was punctual for the appointment; however, he never submitted a proposal and it has been two weeks since he came to see what we wanted his company to do. Also, he criticized work done in our back steps by a previous contractor. I asked him to come to my house to check the work that had to be done, not to criticize. He claims he has his own engineer and architect; never the less, it seems that the work was too much for his company.

Hector is a consummate professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and exacting, and also a really nice guy. From the assessment of the job to its completion, our experience was worry-free. Hector provided a reasonable, detailed list of costs the day he came to look at the job for the estimate, which no other company did. He assisted in choosing materials and gave informed opinions on our project. He was always on time for any appointment. He was onsite regularly, managing the job precisely. All the workers at our house were pleasant and professional. The jobsite was cleaned each day and thoroughly cleaned upon completion, which was important to us as we have a young child. The job was completed in a timely fashion and well within the timeframe Hector promised. When there was a minor miscommunication (not a mistake) about the width of a path they installed, Hector and his workers came to adjust it within days--after the project was completed and after payment was received. We got exactly what we wanted and MORE--Hector and his workers even replanted some shrubs that needed to be moved for our project and they're growing well now! This is a company with good ethics and incredible professionalism. We are already planning to work with this company again for future projects and strongly recommend to anyone with hardscaping projects planned. You will NOT be disappointed.

Hector was supposed to be at my house at 10 AM today 5/27/14 I waited two hours before calling. What I got was something happened and could I reschedule. I did not reschedule after hearing that they where still catching up from April's work. It would have been nice if they told me this at first. It would have been nicer yet if they had called me when they realized Hector was not going to show up at all.

I was in desperate need to have the front end of my walk and an overhang on my garage damaged by superstorm Sandy repaired. My current landscaper told me he could do it and never did. I had contacted a couple of other contractors on Angie's list who were going to charge me an exhorbent amount to do the repairs and do the bare minimum. I contacted Stanton and met with Hector; he said he could take care of everything in a week, and he did. He also discussed options on how I would like to have the repairs done and I took that as someone who cares about enhancing the look and value of your property. His crew was prompt, extremely professional, courteous and they definitely take pride in their work whether the job is big or small. I definitely plan on switching from my current landscaper to Santon.

Got my estimate on Friday, dug out the walkway path the following Tuesday (in the rain) finished Wednesday. They did an excellent job!

I don't feel as though I should have to run a company down and also pay them. Good service should begin when the initial contact is made.

Called Hector on Friday, 3/21 - Rang numerous times before going to voicemail. He called back a couple of hours later and agreed to come over the following day at 1:00 pm to provide estimate of masonry/lawnwork to be repaired. He never showed up and never called to explain why not. I tried calling him at 2:30pm - Interestingly enough, it rang once before going to automated voicemail. We all know that only happens when you manually force it or avoid a caller. Totally unprofessional. Three days later Hector left a voicemail asking that I call him back - no 'sorry' or anything. I never called nor do I intend to. Fortunately, this happened before any work was contracted - Otherwise, I would be stuck with a half-assed repair job. I would never recommend or hire this firm. I note that most of the high ratings are quite stale - You should reassess this vendor and only rate based on recent comments. The vendor doesn't need to 'bless' me in his rebuttal - I'm already very blessed as I saw his true colors before hiring! Thanks, Angies' List.

Hector and his team responded right away while the other service providers I contacted did not. I needed the snow and ice removed because it had built up over two huge winter storms, and I had been away from the house for both so I missed my chance to hail a young entrepreneur wandering by with a shovel. I was initially shocked by the price he quoted me, but he showed me invoices from other jobs he'd done and they were all in the same price range. Plus, the snow was deep and packed solid, so it would take some power to get rid of it. They did the job in about an hour or so and I was very happy with it.

It was an excellent job. The carpenters were exacting with measurements, clean and polite . The job looked beautiful when finished.. Clean up was excellent and i would recommend Hector's construction company to anyone.

Hector and his crew arrived in a timely fashion after a big snowfall as promised and worked as the sun was going down - was brutally cold outside. My driveway is quite wide, wider than the men realized, and so there was some valuable space still covered with snow after the job seemed completed and paid for. I was going to need that space for guests who were coming to visit. I called Hector the next day, explained things to him, and he came back to correct the situation with grace and a smile. Hector is a man of his word, and I very much appreciate his fine work ethic. I will surely be calling upon him again next time the need arises. Many thanks again, Hector!
