Automatic Irrigation Design

I got sprinkler system installed in summer of 2020 and the initial team did a fantastic job. They were professional and knowlegeable. I often called once or twice per year to get tuned up. The guy they usually send, Steve, was always very unprofessional and always in a rush..but he's just there for tune up so what? In november -december of 2022 I called Automatic irrigation design frequently, keeping them up to date on a project I would be starting, which would involve moving a few of the sprinklers further back to do an extension. Steve came out several times and always made excuse about not being able to do something, or why the job cant be done. Finally he came out on 1/30/23 to move and re-run the water lines to the sprinkler main box. My contractor didn't want to have anything to do with touching the sprinkler system nor plumbing to prevent the issue i am having now. I updated Automatic Irrigation System on everything, asked their opinions and agreed with them on when to do what. I paid $754.94 to have this new main run. When my project was finished in March, we called them back to reconnect and turn on system to prepare for spring. Again they sent Steve, and as usual, within 5 minutes of being there he started shouting that its a bigger job than he thinks, and that he cant do it alone, because the sprinkler valves were damaged and blocked by the contractor. He tried to explain that when the contactors were doing their plumbing they might have gotted sauder dust in the system blocking the valves. Only probem is, Steve was the one who ran the pipes from the old building to the valve box. He and my contractor had a back and forth about who did what, while I have to finally come up with the funds to get my system fixed. This happened in March, and today May 16th, they have not been back to repair my system, even though I agreed to pay the $950, plus what ever issue come up after they are done with the job. Debra , the office clerk at first seems ok. Later I found her to be rude and unprofessional. First, they gave me a 6-weeks date for service, after the damage was announced. Each time I called..she would pull Steve into our conversations ( and for some reason, Steve is always in the office as busy as they say they are...9am, 11am, 2pm, 4pm, he is always there). My final call today was to request an earlier service date as my newly laid grass was drying out and dying from lack of water. Why do I have to suffer anymore, when we have been going at this since december/november. Debra became upset when I mentioned, that even though it could be Steve that cause the damage, that im willing to pay for, they were not even showing common courtesy by trying to work with the customer. Instead, she put Steve on the line, and after several minutes of me and him going back and forth ( where he stated, "how can you blame me? I blame you for digging up your yard before calling us." (That was a total lie as I mentioned before, that i kept calling them every step of the way, asking them what they needed to do, and working with them. They did nothing to show loyalty, they were not apologetic, and they did absolutely nothing to de-escalate the situation. Debra tried to get me to stop talking, after having difficulty getting Steve to stop shouting at me. I could not believe I was a loyal cutomer to a company that was rude, disloyal, defensive and watented to take no responsibility for their part in destroying my 2 year old sprinkler system that was working quite fine before Stee made the cahnges and did his saudering, without blowing out the pipes. Still, I have no prove who did what. But my plumber /contractor was willing to go half with me to get the system up and running. Even though I was not asking , AID offered nothing. All they did was gave me a date of May 28th..6 weeks from problem...and had Steve in the office cursed me out on 2 separaste ocaasions. The one star i gave this company is for the work the guys did initally in 2020. Overall service, especially customer service, 0 stars.

It started few years ago and I kept calling them 3-4 times a year because of poor quality work. You get them and they will sent someone else, they will give the employee specific time to finish the job and the job cannot be finished in that time so the people will not take time to do the service and ended up not completing the job properly but you have to pay them properly. We ended up loosing about 10 or more plants in my yard.

Excellent work at any capacity . You would be happy to hire this crew .

I had an old System That no longer worked Removed And this Company was so clean and polite. they took care of everything when they left you could barley tell i had a sprinkler put in my yard. 3 workers all extremely respectful making sure whatever they did they cleaned up afterwards and when they were all done they walked me through the entire system and did not leave until i was satisfied. My Grass Is already Looking Green

Well let me tell you that this is a great company and very professional. I will recommend them 150%. What ever they offer you is what you getting. One of the owner (Scott) is very knowledgeable and will give you the beast deal available. It did not go well. Upon arrival of the team I needed to call the office to ask a question but was handled by a condescending, bordering on rude, person who I'd learned from the worker on site was the office manager. I literally hung up the phone as the person dictated to me in an excited and elevated voice what I 'needed to understand'. I've never hung up on anyone before but I've also never been talked to like that. That person ruined my day.

They arrived on time, and quickly repaired my sprinkler. I was very pleased with my experience.

Receptionist was rude and not helpful at all. Its like once they install the system and have your money you can go jump in the lake. The install was done 2 years ago, I'm getting faults in the system, heads have broken, areas are not properly watered. My advice is shop elsewhere for a more reliable company.

Great, punctual, professional service.

They come every year and blow out the system for the winter. They come back in the spring and check everything to make sure it is working properly. They recharge the system and reset the computer. Their technician came on time. Was very professional. Did the work in what I thought was record time. It would have taken me two weeks to do what they did. Even though, they had to dig up a lot of the garden to put in the irrigation system. They left the property as good as it was when they started.

Perfectly. Technicians arrived on time and took the entire day to setup my 6 zone system. After they had left, I noticed a couple of changes that I needed them to make. Another technician came a day later to make everything perfect.

see above. All in all, the water filter was removed. I replaced it with another company and system. I am still waiting on a resolution for the damages incurred.

They're fine. I use them every year. I think they're very good. I think their pricing is not so great. I think their responsiveness and punctuality are good.

The crew came on time. One person did the excavation for the underground water lines and the other person did the electrical, plumbing and programming for the system. They were neat and where they had to dig up plants to run the lines, everything was replaced as it was before the excavation. The system works flawlessly. I wholeheartedly recommend this company.

There were two workers. They did good and fast. They had the parts that were required and were in and out fast.

After 2 missed appointments without receiving a phone call, I called to complain. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was hung up on. I eventually located another provider. The company has poor customer service. Highly suggest finding another company.

when scott came to give me a Estimate he told me that the pit would be put behind the fence out of sight when the installer came he told me that it could not be put behind the fence that the only place it could be put is right in front of the house in the flower bed I found out that was not true .that it could be put behind the fence i called scott and he said he would come by and look at it. I sent him 3 email and called him he still has not come by and make matters worse there was paid in full when the job was done and I give them my debit card over the phone for the fee to open the systems and close the system there charge my card 150.00 dollars. then there made 2 unauthorized charges to my debit card and it took several calls to get my money back and the last time there made a unauthorized charge to my debit card for 1,140.56 dollars it overdraw my account and cost me 40.00 dollars in fees i sent them a letter and a email requesting a refund for the fees for this and there refuse to refund me the 40.00 dollars for the fees.. it you are crazy enough to use this company do not give them your credit card information.as I had to cancel my card so there would not make any more unauthorized to my card there got my money and there don't seem to care at all

Automatic installed a new sprinkler system in our yard with many heads and 11 zones. We have low water pressure on the street but the installer changed the pipe at the meter to allow for increased pressure to run multiple heads at a time. The crew was neat and clearly knew what they were doing.

Their people were good very professional. They had the tools and knowhow to do whatever was necessary to thoroughly evaluate what was needed. When done with final check, everything worked perfectly. Good crew.

Received a quote from this company late march/early april for a sprinkler install. They came with a very professional handout and booklet, and the quote was very competitive. Scheduling the install was very easy and they communicate very well in terms of permit handling. Installers came when they said they were going to, they were very professional, communicated to me how many zones they were installing, any issues that came about, and were very nice. They left little to no mess, which was expected as they used a pipe inserting machine, and any grass/dirt they dug up, was immediately corrected and leveled. My yard now looks great and I could not be happier with the service provided. They showed me how to use the controller quickly and easily. One of the best companies that I have had used ever. I would recommend them greatly.

Everyone I dealt with from the first call to the finished job were very affable and professional. The work was done quickly and well, the men taking care to leave the place as clean as possible. I would definitely recommend this company.
