Automatic Irrigation Design

The service person was rude and did not answer my questions. At the end, he charged the labor from the time he came including the time for fixing a pipe he broke and the inspection time which I have paid already for the tuneup.

It couldn’t have been nicer. They were on time. They did what they said they were gonna do. They were a little bit messy, they moved the plants around but other than that, they were fine. The workers were very professional.

Excellent. Fast, courteous and for the exact price quoted.

I had a great experience, everyone was very professional and helpful. They even arrived early. I love my sprinkler and my lawn has never looked so good. I highly recommend them.

It was okay. I had no problems. He came out 2 weeks after I purchased the deal. There was an additional $49 and I don’t know why. It was not cheap. I need to call them and ask them.Without contacting me, they came and then left a note saying that they missed me. So I called them to tell them that they never called for the appointment.

I gave them two weeks completely to contact me. I had to leave town after that and I never heard from them. I understand that it was a busy season and maybe I will get another big deal again. I am having a problem with my sprinkler system. I wanted a second opinion on what was causing the problem of the sprinkler not covering my lawn. The order was put in. I paid and at least would of liked a phone call saying they weren't available within the three weeks.

I tried to schedule an appointment on line but they did not offer weekends or early evenings; so, I called the company and they scheduled me for Saturday, Oct. 12. They called me today at work and said that they had a rep in the area and could they come today. I told no, because I work. Then I realized that Saturday Oct. 12 is not a good day for us because we won't be home (plus rain is in the forcast). I'll try using them in the spring before we turn the sprinklers on. They were very nice on the phone.

They came promptly which I appreciate. I have three dogs, I mentioned to the man that I did and he saw my dogs. I told him to watch his step in the backyard because I cleaned up after my dogs and didn't want them to be inconvenienced. When they left my house, they left the side gate open. I let my dogs out without knowing the gate was wide open. My dogs ran off and one of them almost got hit by a car. I called them, and the lady who answered was extremely rude. She did not seem concerned and didn?t seem to care. I am horrified and I can?t believe their irresponsibility. I am so angry and would never, ever recommend them. Today in the mail I received my check back with a note telling me to find someone else next year. I certainly will.

There was nothing they could do being the system was in need of repair per the serviceman so the $69 really went to waste. I am still awaiting a price for the repair of the system and pipe or cost to replace the entire sprinkler system. I received a bill in error, called the company and was informed it was a mistake, then inquired about the repair estimate I have been awaiting. I was told that I would get a call back, but still no call.....

Purchased a inground sprinkler run through - reset of the clock and settings and inspection. They determined a few sprinkler heads needed replacement. Their pricing was fair, they did it then and all seemed well. I needed them to come back as days later i noticed the water was in the middle of the street; needed to be readjusted. Not pleased as that wasn't going on before, but a week later they came, fixed it and all is perfect. Professional, nice and accomodating. That's more importnat to me than if they had to come back as not life and death. Most definitely will consider if not make them my go to company.

The tune-up itself was fine. The person who arrived was friendly and professional and knew what he was doing. However, he pointed out that there was a root that was blocking one of the pipes to a sprinkler. He said I had to call the main office to find out how much it would cost to have the pipe/root fixed. When I called the main office, I was told that I would be charged $75 to have someone come out and look at the pipe and give me an estimate to fix it. I did not use them to fix the pipe and will not be using them going forward.

Garden was very productive this year. They came when they said and did the job in one day and explained how to use the system so I could easily switch from auto to manual etc. There was minimal disruption to the lawn especially considering they had to get the line under my driveway and sidewalk etc. lawn looks great. good crew very professional.

Carlos (highly recommended to ask for him) arrived 10 minutes prior to appt time. He was polite & courteous and made clear what I wanted to accomplish. He took his time and did a thorough walk through the property making notes of any areas that weren't getting full sprinkler coverage. He also noted that we had extension pipes in areas where it wasn't needed (which creates an eye-sore). At my request, he gave me his full assessment on his recommendations along with a job estimate. After one subsequent phone call to the office (Debra, very courteous and helpful) to fine-tune the job parameters, I've agreed to hire them to implement all of Carlos' suggestions and I've been assured that Carlos himself will be on the job (with others). I'm looking forward to an equally smooth experience this coming week.

They were reasonably priced. They came right out. We had called a different irrigation company and didn’t show up. The representative from there explained everything well and I feel very comfortable with them and would recommend their services to others.

They are EXCELLENT! Initially, Scott Silverman came to my house and went over everything, giving me a brochure explaining the entire system and what kinds of parts they use. I thought the price he quoted was very competitive considering how large and complicated a job it was. The system seems to be working perfectly, and everything is watered beautifully. I also noticed that the elder owner of the company stopped by toward the end of the day to note the progress. I was very happy to see such hands-on management. After watering the entire yard by myself for 18 years, I can only say that Automatic Irrigation has made me very happy (and so is my gardener)! Once again, they are EXCELLENT!

They came when they said the would. The showed me a beautiful proposal and did a great job. The gentleman who did the work showed me how to use the irrigation system. My lawn was never destroyed and it looked like it did before they showed up. They fallowed up with a phone call to make sure I was happy with the work.

This project went really well. My phone conversations with Automatic Irrigation were always pleasant. When I needed to change the date of the installation, they were very accommodating. Scott, the owner, came to review what would be needed, and explained how the work would be done. The work team arrived on time, were very efficient, and when the job was complete, they left the yards clean and tidy. The foreman explained everything to me, programmed the timer according to my wishes, and showed me how to program the timer if I needed to change anything. When I wanted a change in the height of some of the heads for the flower beds, the foreman accommodated this with no problem. Same for when I wanted some heads directed away from my fence... they changed a single head to two heads so they could cover the area without hitting the fence. The only thing that did not happen as expected is that Scott did not stop by to see how the work was proceeding, as he had originally said he would. However, that was not really a negative... had he not told me he would be here, I wouldn't have expected it. I am very happy with the work, and so far everything seems to be working beautifully.

Called Automatic in the beginning of April 2013 to get my irrigation system turned on and the earliest they said they could get to my address was May 10, 2013. Called back a few days later to see if I could get someone to the house earlier--due to my grass starting to burn-- and they said they would give me a call if there was a cancellation. As of April 30, 2013 no one has called. Called company today, April 30, 2013, and asked to talk to a manager and was transferred to a woman named Debra's voice mail. Asked Debra to give me a call back and low and behold I never received a return phone call. So, today, April 30, 3013, I turned on my irrigation system myself and water started spraying out of a main valve that should have been properly winterized in October when I had Automatic Irrigation come to my address. Do not use this company unless you are happy with shoddy work.

$75 charge for the privilege of an estimate. Other sprinkler companies don't charge, so why pay for the courtesy of a bid, especially when their Angie's List says they provide free estimate? They should update that information if it's incorrect.

Automatic Irrigation Design were good but they were a little costly so I am not sure if I will use them again. They showed up on time and did what they needed to do quickly and efficiently and they clearly marked who it was that came so. Everything about them was good except the pricing.

The crew that did the job was highly skilled. They did minimal damage to the lawn, and were able to work around some tricky situations with the water valves and the yard. the system is highly customized for my yard. The job was done in one day. They have come back for adjustments under warranty and everyone I've dealt with has been very good. I highly recommend Automatic irrigation.

Workers came on time,neat and clean up after they were done.Tested system all sprinkles were working great.The only thing the saleman forgot to tell me you a electrical outlet for the timer.

I had met with Scott a few years earlier for an estimate. When I was finally ready, he honored the price originally quoted, plus 10% for the two years that had passed (5% increase for each year). I had gotten a few other estimates, and his was still in line with others, plus I knew that they had worked for neighbors and friends who spoke highly of them. They scheduled the work, arrived on time, and installed the entire system in one day. Their crew was courteous and helpful. They explianed the control panel to us, which was very user friendly. We had them winterize the system last fall. Somehow, during the storm (Sandy), one of the pipes must have burst. I called them and they came and repaired it right away. Their service guy was also very nice and professional.

The workers were neat and did their best to clean up afterwards. I was given a lesson on how to use the controls. I was shown how the zones were set up as well. The only regret that I have is that I did not get a map showing where the irrigation pipes are buried. This would be very handy for future projects that might require digging. A day or two after the work was completed, I realized that one of the sprinkler heads was too close to my driveway. i have to park close to the edge of the driveway and was afraid that I might run over the head and damage it. I called the company and they scheduled someone to come and move it to a safer location. The work was done neatly. Overall, we were very satisfied with the sprinklers and how they worked all summer. My lawn never looked so green. The company also winterized the pipes for me .

This company uses contractors for lawn and sprinkler service. Usually they are on time and will do the work correctly. There are other services but I cant depend on them. So I'll use them again. I need them for the Backflow analysis also that's why the bill came to $250.
