Junk King Hudson Valley

They came out to remove garbage left by previous owners of the house. We called on a Sunday and they came right out on Monday morning. Turned out we didn't need them to get that, but had other junk in the back which included a shed full of lumber, metal and other miscellaneous junk. Even though we changed what we needed to be picked up, they were easily able to adapt to this. They worked quickly and thoroughly, stopping when truck was a quarter full as asked. They were polite and friendly. We will definitely be using them again in the future.

From start to finish, Junk King has never failed us. We used them three times in the process of getting our house ready to sell and then removing all that remained after the sale and just before the closing. They had to work with my neighbors, because we had already moved out. They performed above and beyond. We were in contact throughout the job via texts and cell phone, and it worked out quite well. The only thing that remains to be done is that I get a $25 credit, because I had a coupon!!

The entire process was easy and painless. The truck arrived on schedule and the three young men were courteous and helpful. They loaded everything onto the truck and even swept out the garage before they left. I will definitely call on Junk King for another pick-up before we move and wouldn't hesitate to use their services... truly excellent customer service.

Everything was done in a timely fashion and with a smile. The bonus was that they cleaned up after they were done. The bigger bonus was catching the Angie's List Big Deal.

He was a very nice young entrepreneur. They swept up after themselves. He called in advance and showed up when he was supposed to. I will use him again.

They were very punctual, and gave me a good price, I think, less than what it would have cost for a dumpster, and they did all the work, moving stuff from the basement up a slope and stairs to the street. They did leave a bit of debris on the driveway,. but it wasn't much.

It went well after there was a frustrating mix-up on time. The owner, Gene, was very apologetic and then extremely accommodating to make up for the mixup. The movers were all nice and efficient - if anything, too fast! I was sentimentally taking pictures as they were emptying. We filled more than a full truck, and there was a lot of just old wood, dirt (unfinished concrete walls, etc). My only "issue" was that I expected the basement to be completely cleaned and while they swept up, I still had an enormous cleanup job ahead of me for the first. Again, though, that may have been a misconception on my part. Overall, I was absolutely satisfied and would - and likely will! - use them again.

I called for a quote and 3 hours later they were at my house with their truck. They offered me a free quote and said if you like the quote we will remove everything for you right now. I used a $25 off coupon and the job came out to $363 for half of a truckload. They accept all forms of payment and were very friendly. The original time scheduled was around 3:00 pm, but they showed up about 45 minutes after that. They did call and tell me when they would be arriving and they completed the entire job in less that 15/20 minutes. I will definitely use them again. You can seriously call and get in contact with a person and then get the job done the same day. You may be placed on hold for 5 minutes when you first call, but the wait is well worth it. A+

They were very polite and cleaned up three piles of things we wanted to throw out. They did the work quickly and thoroughly. I would definitely use them again!

They took mostly the wood which I could have recycled, though it would take me time and effort. The thing that I wanted them to take which was the bricks, they did not take. I did not see that in the fine print.

Called ahead to notify of slight arrival delay. Willingly accepted direction and identification of select items to save while removing the rest. Broom clean. Adjusted billable quantity when asked after using partially filled truck from a prior site.

Jean, Chris and Lucky did a great job. I had them come over three different dates. I recently moved had so many empty boxes and extra furniture that didn't fit in the house. I called Junk King to remove the boxes and contribute the goods to charity. They were great. They broke down boxes, disposed of trash, and brought me back charity receipts for the items delivered to charity. They always called before their scheduled arrival to confirm timing. They did exactly what I asked for and saved me lots of time. I will definitely call them if I need anything taken away from my home.

We were late setting up the date (only had a few days remaining before expiration of the coupon). However, they were very courteous and accommodating. The truck arrived late due to road detours, but again, the men were pleasant and anxious to please. We were quite satisfied with the way they handled the job; it was done quickly and well.

I purchased the big deal coupon for this service. The service went very well and I was pleased with it. It was good value, but I checked the website to find out how much they would charge and it wasn’t much. So, I had to pay some extra money, which I did not mind because they did a good job. The quality of work was very good.

Two nice guys, one was the owner, came to review the work needed and to provide a free estimate which they told me verbally and the owner gave me his business card. I liked them instantly and was comfortable chatting with them. I gave them my email address, but unfortunately I didn't receive the email with the written estimate. Anyway, a week later I called the number from the website, which is a central office number for the whole area, and made an appointment for pick up and they offered me the next day, which was a Saturday. Great! The guys showed up, but said they had no room in the truck and would have to come back another day which was a waste of my time, but no problem, I wasn't in a hurry. I contacted the number on the business card and spoke to the owner. Very apologetic, friendly and helpful. He made an appointment with me for two days later and the guys came and took the stuff away. It was pouring down and they were soaked through, but cheerful and hard working. They made sure I was happy with everything, which I was, and then I paid with my credit card through the Square card reader on the guys phone. Easy! I tipped them too, and was happy to.

It went well - not much to tell that wasn't covered above.

They wasted no time and quickly did their job in a professional manor. These guys are the best!

All reviews I read about this organization were absolutely glowing, so I didn't hesitate to hire Jean and crew, especially in view of other quotes received for the same job. From the first phone call to job completion, Jean communicated in a timely, informative and extremely gentlemanly and professional manner, never leaving us wondering about schedule or the job to be done. He kept us abreast of when he and his team were arriving, approximately how long they would be here, what they were undertaking, and the progress being made. They were here for segments of 3 separate days as they hauled multiple truckloads away and did exactly what we wanted and as promised. They worked tirelessly and quietly, never accepting more than a few bottles of water. Thanks to Junk-King, our wooded areas are now a natural delight, a pleasure to behold and a peaceful barrier against our surroundings. Thank you so much Junk-King Jean and crew.
