Worst Movers… Zippboxx Moving & Storage WORST MOVERS EVER Do not use this mover unless you like to pay a fortune to have them “lose” any of your valuable possessions. I paid a crazy insane amount extra for their Insurance. Their insurance says my very valuable possessions that zippboxx lost are worth only $30. I had 2 parts to my move and storage. When they unloaded my items that actually did get delivered, I kept seeing other people’s furniture in my home labeled with my name on it. Those are not mine, so I made them take them back and I suspected that my stuff could be in someone else’s house. They “lost” family photos, collectables, pots & pans, blankets & pillows, a designer bag, etc…. The furniture that did arrive was somewhat dented as they taped the packing material too tight. I am honestly devastated. I paid a fortune to allow these people to lose or take my belongings, some of which can never be replaced. Supposedly I was paying this huge amount for monthly storage to afford me “replacement value” if lost or damaged. I do not think I can replace even a single item with $30 that their Insurance is willing to pay out on my claim. This is a nightmare. From beginning to end, this move was a disaster.

Not only were their customer service reps informative, thorough and kind - they didn’t leave you waiting for days or weeks on end for a reply. We moved from a three story walk up in Queens (no elevator) to a house in Eastern Long Island NY. They had an entire team of workers who trudged up and down three flights of stairs repeatedly until the semi truck sized trailer was full to the brink. They wrapped all our furniture so it wouldn’t be damaged. Any odds and ends that I didn’t get packed they placed in boxes and did it for me. The price was really good. I honestly expected it to be a lot more considering all the stuff we had. They were great. And I would definitely hire them again and recommend them to family and friends. Sidenote: you may notice that we moved a year ago today and I’m just doing my review now. It’s because I forgot. LOL

It was great! These guys were right on time, quick and efficient. I would definitely use them again and I would certainly recommend the company to anyone.

I was moving out of my apartment in January and was looking for a pickup/storage company I could use that was affordable. When i used them they were relatively new so I was a bit skeptical but they were amazing. Two gentleman I worked with were great. They were very patient and kind.

Zippboxx was amazing! Can not say enough good things about Rob and his team. A pleasure to work with. We had wood floors refinished and had to move everything out. When our move back date changed multiple times they were always accommodating and helpful. Would definitely use again.

We had to move and store our entire 4-bedroom home while we waited for our new home to be ready. It was an overwhelming process that Zippboxx made so much easier! The estimate we received was accurate and without any hidden or unexpected expenses, the plastic bins they provide saved us tons of money and made it so easy to organize our packing, and their professionalism made us feel so comfortable trusting this company with all of our possessions. Rob and his entire crew were a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for moving and storing services!

Zipbox was an amazing company to work with. I was doing construction on my house that took over three months. Zipbox worked with my schedule to my vet all my furniture out when I needed it. The team went above and beyond on a project that was long. I would recommend Zipbox to anyone needing storage or moving.

Zippboxx is FANTASTIC! Great rates and EXCELLENT customer service!!! I found them after hours of searching online and couldn't believe their prices! I gave them a call and they informed me of their even more incredible student plan! They dropped the bins off exactly as scheduled and explained to me how to use them. The next day, the same friendly guys arrived at my apartment a little early and very generously helped me pack up my kitchen (I was having trouble with the pots and pans!) at no extra charge (although they did let me give them a tip!). Finally, we figured out that I would need an extra bin. They ran down to the truck to grab one, got on the phone, and had that box added to my account in all of 3 minutes. In August, they returned my boxes directly to my apartment (this is important to mention because I was at an all-girl's school with very tight security-no men allowed upstairs except movers and they had to leave their drivers licenses at the security desk and put up with the security guard escorting them upstairs to my apartment and waiting until we were finished) and let me keep the boxes for as long as I needed to unpack. I ended up having to leave school due to a serious illness but I forgot about my boxes until they very politely reminded me MONTHS LATER. They cheerfully worked with me as I tried to work out a solution with my former roommates and, when we finally figured it out another few months later, they picked the boxes up AT NO CHARGE! Bottom line, they're incredible and I recommend them to everyone who will listen!

Amazing. Zippbox is in a league of there own. Think of it as a storage facility with movers. You don’t have to do a thing. They will wrap, pack and take your items to their spacious warehouse and safely store your belongings until you need them. Then, just call them and they’ll deliver them to you. It’s as simple as that. They itemize every article so they know exactly where a specific item is. No guess work. Whether your storage needs are short or long term, Zippbox is the place to call.

I can't say enough about this company, the employees, and the owner. I currently hold a large storage unit with ZippBoxx and also regularly use their services for move-in/move-out for my clients. As a real estate broker who routinely stages apartments before selling them, this service is absolutely perfect for my needs. Rob, the owner, and his staff are relentless in making sure that I receive excellent service each time and at a fair (maybe too fair!) price. When you come across a service that offers an abundance of value you never look back. Highly recommended!

Our company participates in charitable events during the year, which require a lot of supplies and equipment. We used to use a storage unit to store everything and it was jam-packed to the ceiling. We'd inevitably need to get something that was in the back and it would take hours to drive to the facility, pull everything out, find what we needed, and pack everything back in. Zippboxx has been a godsend. Their on-demand solution has been perfect for us. Not only do we not have to go work up a sweat in a tiny storage unit, their online inventory makes it very easy to see exactly what we have at a moment's notice, and requesting pickup or delivery is very simple. To top it off, everyone I've dealt with has been super friendly and helpful. If you need a storage solution, ZippBoxx is the way to go!

Zippboxx was fantastic. I was leaving New York for the summer and needed to store my belongings. Traditional storage places were MUCH more expensive and I had to deal with getting my items to the storage unit myself. The movers that Zippboxx sent were very efficient. They picked up all my stuff in 45 minutes. I was worried they would have trouble with some furniture items, since I was in a walk-up, but they took everything down the stairs no problem. One down side, anytime you want to get your stuff, you have to pay a delivery fee. I think it’s around 50 or 60 dollars.. so if you plan on needing access to your items often, you might want to consider the storage companies that let you actually visit the storage facility yourself. Oh, and also, they can drop off boxes ahead of time so you have time to pack. I asked for boxes an entire week in advance.

Zippboxx was truly awesome. I wasn't sure exactly what to expect when I signed up--I was slightly worried about hidden fees, etc. Fortunately, Zippboxx was everything I was looking for and more. They bring you boxes, you fill them up at your pace. Schedule a pick-up, and they'll be there the next day. The website was super simple and nice too--easily photograph the contents of your boxes and add them to the site. I needed to move out of an apartment with a roommate, but my next apt wasn't available for a month, so I had them pick up my stuff, then I couched surf for a month, and they delivered it to my new apt, for no extra cost. It was literally like getting movers for free with only the price of storage for a month--which was cheap! I would absolutely recommend Zippboxx to anyone looking to move or store stuff as efficiently as possible. DO IT!

It was a great experience. Zippboxx was professional, yet flexible and very accommodating to the uncertainty of my daughter's moving situation. We did not know until the last possible moment if we were storing or moving her possessions and Zippboxx was with us all the way. The move went perfectly and the cost was amazingly reasonable. I would use them again and recommend them to anyone who either needs to move or store items.
