Description of Work: DO NOT USE COOL POWER. We bought a service contract from them. They came to check out the unit before signing the contract and told us all was ok. We reminded them that they has serviced one of the units last year and that they said the compressor was short of freon They said it looks good and that there was no leak. We paid $300 for the contract. The first time it got hot out and we turned on the central air they came out and told us the unit needs to be replaced and that they could not get here for almost 2 months - after most of the summer is over! They also charged me $180 for a service call that shouldnot have been necessary if they had done the job correctly in the first place.I said if they had told me in April that i needed a new unit i would have gotten it and that now they should come more quickly to install a new one. The owner himself told me he could not help me. There are plenty of companies out there. Do not use Cool Power

Description of Work: Replace central AC unit, techs were very pleasant and worked very neat. I had an issue with the outside unit 4 days after installation due to a storm and power surge, they immediately sent a tech who analyzed the problem and had the part shipped overnite. Overall i was very pleased with Cool Power, and would highly recommend them, i also plan to use Cool Power to service my gas heating system.

 + -1 moreA DAY AFTER THE WORK, WATER STARTED LEAKING FROM THE OUTSIDE UNIT INTO THE HOUSE, THE COMPANY APOLOGIZED, THEY HAD NOT HOOKED UP A DRAIN CORRECTLY. THE PROBLEM WAS RESOLVED AND THEY PAID FOR ALL WATER DAMAGE IN THE HOUSE.
Description of Work: PREVIOUSLY WE DID NOT HAVE CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING, THE OUTSIDE UNIT WAS INSTALLED, VENT WORK WAS DONE THROUGH THE ATTIC AND CONNECTED TO ALL VENTS IN THE HOUSE.
