 + -1 moreIn my first contact by phone I spoke with Alarm Tech's representative, Joe Coffey. I was immediately impressed by the scope and depth of his knowledge about security. During the installation of the additional equipment for the upgrades and in the ensuing months, my initial impression was confirmed by his thoroughness. Furthermore, Joe is a terrifically pleasant person with whom to deal. But Joe is not the only talented person on the Alarm Tech staff. The installers, Craig and Joe, were skillful, neat and careful and fastidious in cleaning up. Also like Joe, they were a pleasure to have in our home. Now that the system upgrades have been in place for almost a year, I must admit that in the course of learning the new equipment, I've triggered two false alarms, so I've also dealt with the monitoring personnel. They were helpful and responsive and like the other staff with whom we had contact, very pleasant. The quarterly monitoring charge of about $90 is very reasonable for the level of protection our home has. Good work Alarm Tech!! We unhesitatingly recommend Alarm Tech to anyone considering having a first class security system installed.

 + -1 moreAgain, I have been impressed with the professionalism and quality of the on site installers and with the wilingness of all of the representatives of the company, especially the president, Jeff Bertuccio, to assist me on the phone whenever I have a question or concern. I have not had a single complaint since first using the company in 1999.
Description of Work: I have used Alarm-Tech since the company first installed my home alarm system in 1999 and have always been impressed with their service, professionalism and integrity. They installed an elaborate alarm system by using my old hard wire system and adding impressive wireless hardware. Their reputation is excellent and their technicians are highly skilled. I have contacted the company through the years for minor servicing. A few years ago they contacted me about updating my control panel to add additional features. They did the job without any extra expense to me as long as I maintained my central station contract. I had no objection doing this since I have been very happy with their central monitoring. The phone staff is polite and willing to work with their clients and they never push to send out their service technicians out to a job. In fact they have solved problems on the phone for me on a few occasions. The president of the company, Jeff Bertuccio, has always been available to discuss issues with me and I have never felt rushed or obligated to request a service call. In fact, I just picked up some additional equipment from his company and he spent considerable time with me explaining how I could install it. I do know that Jeff is community minded, too. After hurricane Sandy he was able to secure generators which he sold to people for his cost. That says a lot about his integrity and honesty. I highly recommend Alarm-Tech. There are many alarm companies on Long Island. I think this company is certainly one of the best.

 + -1 moreTHE WORK WAS VERY GOOD AND I HAVEN'T HAD A PROBLEM SINCE THE JOB WAS DONE. THE SERVICEMAN CAME RIGHT AWAY AFTER I CALLED. HE WENT RIGHT TO WORK WHEN HE GOT THERE, IT ONLY TOOK TEN MINUTES.
Description of Work: THE PAD ON MY HOME ALARM SYSTEM WASN'T LIGHTING UP, SO IT WAS REPAIRED.
