Masten and Commander Drywall

We needed some odd handyman jobs done around our houseâ and truly feel like we hit the jackpot by hiring Andrew & his dad Craig. They showed up at 9am sharp and workedâ ¦happily, efficiently, and cleanly. These two rebuilt the front stairs, painted, took apart a wall fixed a pocket door, went to Home Depot to pick up my momâ s order for a TV mount (lol) and then returned and installed it! They took a look at things I had questions about, went above and beyond, were NICE, and treated us like family. Andrew (& Craig!) are top notch professionals and we are already working on our next list of things to hire them for. We have already raved on our personal Facebook pages to our local friends and will drop a referral for them in a heartbeat! The Mastens are awesome. It is so hard picking from a list of names on the internet when you need help at home. Look no further. We feel great about every aspect of our experience with them. Wish I could say more. Andrew worked hard to remove the awful popcorn ceiling throughout our home. He also was very accommodating in allowing me to pick several paint colors for the various rooms we needed painted throughout our home. He was very fair in his prices and did a great job!

Simply Stated, Andrew Masten is a dyeing breed. If you also read his other Reviews, you will find that he is Honest , Trustworthy, On Time, Extremely Hard Working and a Perfectionist in the work that he does. All of what is stated here is also stated with the Better Business Bureau. Andrew fairly quoted repair of water / hole damage in Master Bedroom ceiling. He set a perfect time line for repair completion. Advised us of every step taken in repair. Even to the point to notify us as to when he was enroute to be on time for the repair. Personally, we have lived in our home in Queensbury for 21 years and have never found a contractor that I would describe as â Outstanding â . Andrew Masten is an Outstanding person and Contractor. There is no hesitation in recommending him for any project that requires his expertise. Also adding that if additional work is needed, he knows and can call on other Sub Contractors with the same work ethics as his. We know for a fact that if we ever need a contractor , there would be no hesitation in calling Masten & Commander.

Andrew was responsive and prompt. Barring the amazing, professional work and craftsmanship, Andrew was friendly, communicative and very honest about our job. Andrew is an extremely friendly and experienced drywall repair and painter. Always showed up on time. and explained what he was about to do. The drywall repair was way better than expected - you would not know that there was any damage in the first place. He chose the exact same color of paint for the walls and celing. Andrew is a great craftsman and a very hard worker. The drywall demolition and install job proved to be much more difficult than originally anticipated because of issues with the original construction of an old house. He and his team overcame the challenges with grit and positive energy. We are delighted with excellent work product at a reasonable cost.

Andrew is an incredible craftsman and an exceptionally hard worker. From the second he came through the door, over a several day project, he did not stop moving. He brings the sort of energy and attention to detail you can only hope for from a contractor. We have 1927 craftsman that needed a new kitchen ceiling, as well some repair to the original detail on the wall. He took a room that was quite frankly overwhelming, and transformed it into a clean modern space while still keeping the original details. It is no small feat to reconcile old and new and the finished product was seamless. I highly recommend Andrew for any project you can throw at him. I would trust him in my home alone if you were hiring him for work on a second home or during the work day, for example. Just a straight up hard working pro, which is getting harder to find these days.
