Repairman came to check my broken washing machine on May 22, 2014. Said it needed a new pump. I told him please order the pump. He said he be back the next day to install the new pump. He called and left a message the part was in and call him back, but he never gave me his phone number so I could not call him back. I called the company back and the receptionist said she would tell him I called and he would install Friday, May 23. I waited and waited on May 23. I called the company several times and the receptionist said he claimed I wasn't answering the phone. The phone had rung a few times with no one saying anything. My daughter was visiting and was witness to this. I called the receptionist again and she said she told the repairman I am waiting and he should just go to my house and work on my washing machine. He never showed. He never called. If he did call his call didn't go through to my home phone which was working fine for everybody else. His company directed him to come to my house to perform the repair. He did not. I told the receptionist about this and said I would have to get another company as it was Memorial Day Weekend, and this repairman said he wouldn't come on Saturday or Monday. Early (7:00 a.m.) on Wednesday May 27, this repairman calls me and says he is sending a service contract. I wasn't even awake. I don't know what he means by service contract. There was no mention of any charge for checking my washing machine and then failing to fix it. And why wait until Wednesday to call? No one at the company had the courtesy to call on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and explain anything. Complete failure and discourtesy on their part. My machine is still broken.

I had explained to the receptionist on the phone the problem with the top rack wheels on my dishwasher. She said that she would send her guys to look and give me a price. She never mentioned a service charge. The men came and without even looking in my dishwasher said that I would need to replace the whole tope rack. They said it would be about $150 for parts (maybe x2, they were unclear on that) and that there would be a labor charge and a service charge of $90. They demanded the $90 today. When I questioned why they wanted a service charge and then a labor charge, they changed there story and said that the service charge was for the first 15 minutes and after that the labor charge kicks in. I feel totally taken. They were in my house for 5 min and I had to give them $90 for something they could have told me over the phone.
Description of Work: I called with a small repair needed to the top rack of my dishwasher. The provider came and looked at the dishwasher.

The technician was careful to listen to the problem and provided the proper fix for each problem. From appointment-maker to technician, they weren't bothered by the number of small fixes I needed. It was very satisfactory. It took a week to get the gasket for the oven installed. Not bad! I'm thrilled to have these things done!
Description of Work: Fixed leak in front loader washer, fixed level of dishwasher so rack would not roll forward, fixed an igniter in gas cooktop and leveled it, determined cause of uneven baking in oven and ordered new gasket for it.
