+ -1 moreOur job went extremely well. This project was very involved and took a while to complete. They arrived as scheduled EVERY time. They were professional, efficient, and cleaned up each time they came. They are family operated - brothers and a nephew Derek. They are all knowledgeable and did everything they promised to do with great communication. I would and have recommended them to anyone looking for a professional job with minimal stress.
Description of Work: We had a new bathroom installed in our playroom which required a sewer ejector pump to accommodate a toilet, sink, and shower. We also had a sink installed in the laundry room, new baseboard heat, a sump pump, and other plumbing done in other parts of the house.

+ -1 moreOver the period of time I used Colango, they fixed or installed faucets,toilets and garbage disposals; cleared blockages; and fixed leaky pipes. The first time I called Bill in 1997 with a garbage disposal problem, he won my trust by talking me through a quick and easy fix to the problem over the phone at no charge. One service they no longer do is to clear clogged drains, but they will refer you to someone who does this. I highly recommend this company for plumbing work at residences.
Description of Work: The last service was to provide a certificate required for local Building Dept to sell house. Colango Plumbing was my plumber for a house in Larchmont, NY from 1997 to 2013. Previous owners recommended him and I recommended him to buyers. The company was responsive, reliable, on time, on budget and did excellent work.

+ -1 moreOne gentleman came out and repaired the pipe leaking under our porch. He was quick, courteous, and completed the work well. Unfortunately, after he left, now that the pipe was fixed, we found a leak on another part. Scott (I think that's his name), came out and fixed it for no charge. I've had a great experience with them and would use them again in the future.
Description of Work: We had two leaks in an outdoor pipe that were fixed.

+ -1 moreArrived on-time for estimate appointment, as scheduled. Arrived exactly on-time for installation appointment. The old sink and cooktop were (no surprise) more difficult to remove than I had imagined. And the new sink and cooktop required ingenuity to install properly. The plumber delivered. He was super intelligent, creative, friendly, speedy, reliable, fastidiously clean, and -- for a plumber -- extremely reasonable in price. Overall a fine value.
Description of Work: Remove old and install new sink and cooktop. Install new gas shut-off valve and gas supply line (to bring up to code). Install new lines for new faucet and modify lines for instant hot water dispenser.
