We were very disappointed that after making an appointment they never showed up. We called the day of the appointment and 2 days afterwards and left messages both times. No call back was ever given. We were looking forward to having them service our furnace since they sounded great on the phone. However, it was very unprofessional for them to no call, no show.

Not done . Called and sent email with no response. Had requested service in March when I paid in advance for furnace cleaning.

I don't remember the exact price, but it was fair.

Good. It was immediately diagnosed. Unfortunately it would have required about an $800 -$1000 repair. They offered a second temporary option which we went for, costing only $150. We are hoping to do a kitchen remodel this year and planning to replace the refrigerator, so it made no sense to spend the big bucks. Frig is working fine for the moment.

It didn't! They never called me back even though I contacted them repeatedly. I now have to go through Angie's List to get my money back.

He explained a few things that I had never known about, and left it to me to decide if I wanted to proceed (I did go with his recommendation). He was very professional, and responded to all my questions thoroughly. I mentioned that in the past, I had a contractor that I wasn't comfortable with (not from Angie's List). I learned that he trains police dogs, and as a result has been vetted with regards to background checks.

On the way to my house, Tim had an unfortunate run-in with a deer that ran in front of his van. Instead of cancelling the appointment, he came over anyway with a smile on his face and a positive attitude. The service call to clean my furnace will end up costing him way more than it cost me. Not once did I ever feel like he regretted being there for a discounted service. He even took the time to explain some things to me about my furnace that the original installers never mentioned when it was replaced 3 years ago by a "big" company. It's obvious that Tim takes pride in his work and the company name is a reflection of the owner. If you want someone who will go above and beyond, call him!

They couldn't have been more professional, friendly, punctual, or helpful. My "A" grade for each category has not been given casually. They earned them!

Great! Tim came in and did an inspection and estimate. We asked about high efficiency furnaces, and he gave us a quick lesson about how they differ from standard furnaces, but didn't push one furnace over the other. Work was done the following week. He arrived on time, and he did great work. He explained how all the buttons work for both the furnace and the water heater. He even attached the power cord from my air conditioner to the house so that I won't get electrocuted while cutting the grass. Great guy. I'll be using him for anything heating and cooling in the future.

Absolute no show- no service provided. This could be considered a fraudulent activity. I will request a credit card refund

Quality First provided us with a thorough assessment of the worked that needed to be done. The part was ordered and completed within two days. Everything went well and we were pleased with the equipment and the service.

I call him Terrific Tim. I deleted all the other HVAC guys from my Contacts. He's now my "Go-To" ! More details....? Tim was able to meet my timeline (no overtime or rush charge). He was prompt, thorough, efficient, and equipped with all the right tools. Not only did he fix the immediate problem, but gave additional feedback on other potential issues I should be aware of. No pressure to go beyond the fix I needed. Very reasonable rates. The A/C was back in operation in less than a half hour. I am COMPLETELY satisfied and definitely recommend him without any reservations.

It was 4:30 p.m (Friday) on a 95 degree day when I arrived home and my air conditioning was not working. I called a two heating and cooling places, neither of which could provide service for 3 days. (My 5 month old nephew is staying with me) The second place I called, kindly mentioned looking for a place more local. I looked up Hamlin in my search and immediately found Quality First. I called Quality First and relayed that I was in a hurry as I had to leave my house by 6:15. He showed up within 40 minutes, and not much time to work. After troubleshooting, he replaced a few parts on the unit and informed me on maintenance procedures that I was unaware of. By the time he left, my a.c. was working. I paid him a more than reasonable price for the work he had done. Around 11 a.m. the following morning, the a.c. had turned off again. I called him back, and he returned to my home shortly after. He immediately looked further into the issue and found wires that were shorting each other(in a place extremely hard to reach). He replaced the entire wire and had it fixed within 45 minutes. Tim was more than professional, and extremely genuine as well. It is clear in his demeanor that he loves his job, but more so, he is doing business to help people.

I gave a bad review due to a miscommunication on my part. When we got together Tim came right out and looked at my a/c and furnace. He did a very thorough job and didn't try to sell my items I didn't need. I was very impressed with his professionalism and his friendliness and will look to him in the future for any repairs I might need. Sorry for the initial review Tim.

Very professional and nice. Our A/C unit is 25 years old, so it was unfortunately not worth fixing but he did diagnose the issue and gave us a quote for a new system. When we have the money saved for a new system we will be calling him!

EXCELLENT. Prompt, thorough, informative and above all honest and fair. Quote was for installation of a 3 ton unit. In between both estimates and the nicer of the three gentlemen. No sales tactics and very upfront. That was much appreciated! Would not hesitate to use for yearly furnace cleaning also. Very very pleased.

Quick Response, reasonable pricing, small local business. My wife and I purchased a coupon from Angie's List for an inspection for my HVAC system. 5 minutes after purchasing this coupon, Tim (the owner) called my cell phone to schedule an appointment. Very quick! Tim made room for us in his schedule on the following Saturday (only 3 days later). Tim came out, did a thorough inspection of the system, finding that the breaker had popped, and that the compressor was the cause of the issue. He approximated a repair cost, and we decided that it would be better to have a new AC system installed. He made room in his schedule to install it 2 days later on Monday. The old system was removed, and the new one set up and running within 4.5 hours, and it went very smoothly. Tim went so far as to follow up the next day (today) to make sure that the system had performed well and was up to our standards. Very thoughtful. I highly recommend using Quality First Heating and Cooling. He is a stand up guy, his equipment is top notch, and his customer service is even better. Tim will be performing all of the service for our HVAC needs, and I hope that he will be doing yours, as well.

Angie's List and Quality First company owner Tim Growth both worked out great. I joined Angie's List at 7 AM and Clicked on Tim's AC ad at 7:15 AM. I got a call from Tim at 7:25. Tim came for his 2:30 PM appointment on time and spent two hous here and found and fixed both problems. Tim was great to work with. I would recommend him to others. Everything done in 10 hours.
