Contractor (owner) was never onsite, did not show up when stated and failed to respond via call or text. Issues with engagement: - Contractor equipment was broken (dump truck, trailer, tamp) and levels damaged/inaccurate - Failed to setup forms correctly (shape, level and pitch). After 4 days of arguing I set them myself with my own rotary laser level. - Failed to install stone base (used fill dirt) and base was not level or pitched - Failed to pour the concrete flat and with standard pitch. Only had 1/2 inch of pitch and was above grade in some spots. Literally a roller coaster. - Failed to deliver correct color. He opted to buy a cheaper color agent that was completely off and did not mix evenly or completely through concrete - Ran out of concrete and tried to hand-mix and blend bag concrete which ended horribly - Slow to work stamps and concrete hardened to the point where it would not take stamp pattern over 2/3 of patio Contractor yelled profanities frequently while on the job, offended neighbors and blamed his shortcomings on the home owner. He did significant damage to my lawn and neighbor's with equipment and damaged my deck staircase and siding on house. He did tear out the mess of a patio and left a wake of destruction that he walked away from. He refused to correct any of these issues and kept my deposit. We are now going to court, so steer clear so you do not end up in the same situation.
Description of Work: Contracted to have large concrete patio poured, stamped and stained. Job was moderate for complexity as it included a curved cantilever step and smooth boarder.

it went terrible the owner wasn't on the job the one kid had to go wash his clothes leaving the job to another young person the cut was crooked you can ski off it the slope is so steep the finish is smooth easy to slip theres no broom finish like in so called scribbled contract id much rather be writing on what a fine job they did but that simply didn't happen they don't even pay what the judge awarded me to protect there name if they would have least paid that this message would not be done
Description of Work: they did a simple front walkway and theres no foundation concrete floating in aid the owner said it was a pristine job the small claim judge didn't think so I'm very sorry i hired them they have owed me the money since fall of last earthy told bob that they don't have the money i tried to give them a chance being a new company only to have them do what they did let them practice on some one else you r warned

It went extremely well! I could not be more satisfied with the end product they created for the job and will definitely hire them again in the future with not only similar work, but anything that involves concrete!
Description of Work: Built Concrete Ballasts for a large Solar Power system on a landfill. They built the forms, poured the concrete, finished the concrete, removed the forms after setting, and cleaned up.

I had it inspected by the Better Contractors Bureau and the inspector said that there was no finish, no support for the concrete, that the job should have been supervised, and that it wasn't a professional job. Moosehead masonry did not respond to the Bureau, and they referred it to the Attorney General. It is now going to small claims court. It was a very poor job. They would not do the right thing by tearing it apart and doing it again. Update: I won the small claims court case and they are refusing to pay.
Description of Work: They put in a patio.
