Wetzl Development LLC

Wetzl developed a group of Patio homes off McKinley Pkwy. He exited the development leaving many problems for the Home Owners Association (including a sewage system that is inadequate, incomplete landscaping, lawn irrigation systems that are defective). My unit was left with lots of problems (electrical, property grading, landscaping, etc.). Wetzl grudgingly responded to most (not all) issues.

We paid more than we had planned but we are very happy with our decision. Everything went well--from quality of materials and work to ease of dealing with all workers to promptness to you-name-it. I'd go with Wetzl again if I had the chance.

I have a history of moving around and have bought new construction several times. I have come to expect mediocre work and responsiveness from builders. This latest home built by Wetzl was a brand new experience for me. It is hard to believe when I report this, but absolutely everything went well, from the very beginning. I think we paid more than we have in the past, but everything was done with such high quality and attention to detail, that it was well worth it. Wetzl has standard models to choose from, but are very happy to customize homes to the customer's needs. Wetzl will not laugh when the customer asks for something--instead they will do their best to accommodate the customer. If they think there might be a problem down the road with what the customer is asking for, they will tell the customer. But if the customer insists, they will listen. They seem to know what is best and are honest about providing costs and benefits to whatever the customer wants. Glen Wetzl, his wife Cindy, and all of the employees are friendly, respectful, and cooperative and understand that a home purchase is a big deal and that it is important to get it right. Glen does not disappear after the customer moves in to their new home. He makes himself available and there is no doubt that if something, even minor, needs attention, Glen will take care of it. I cannot emphasize too strongly how easy this man is to work with.
