Pat came to our house to provide an intial assessment and to take measurements. After that, we met at his office a few days later to look at the layout he came up with. We made a few minor changes and then Pat finalized the design -- we selected cabinets from the samples in his showroom - and picked out our wood type and finish. We also got a quote on countertops from Pat, but ultimately ordered them from somewhere else. He was very knowledgeable about the advantages of different types of cabinets and countertops -- and provided us with costs for three different types of cabinets so that we could factor cost into our final decision. He didn't try to upsell us -- he worked with what we were comfortable with. He's a very honest and reliable person -- great to work with. He also promotes American made products, which I thought was refreshing. He emphasizes quality craftsmanship over cheap -- if we highly recommend working with Pat.

Were not sure he really had a contractor on hand for installation so we went elsewhere

I was/am extremely pleased with my overall experience with Southtowns Kitchen and Bath. The finished product is beautiful with Mouser cabinetry (the Junior League Decorator's Showhouse at the Knox Farm Estate featured Mouser kitchen cabinetry), which had numerous styles and stains/colors to choose from. I chose Corian countertops (granite, concrete, laminates, etc. also available) and sinks. There were plenty of samples to look at and I took several home before I chose the finished products. Patrick, the owner, came to my home to personally take the measurements and returned to my home numerous times, as I wanted to change this or that, trying to maximum use of a small kitchen area with walls and doorways that limited my options. Patrick researched several possibilities to see if we could do something in the kitchen that may not have been readily available but would have been the right thing to have in my kitchen. He listened to what I wanted and took good notes. Patrick set up a consultation appointment and we went over his computer generated drawings. I changed things around (mostly small, some big) several times and Patrick was extremely patient as he noted all the changes on the drawings. He was very thorough. Patrick worked with my remodeler and countertop fabricator/installer, discussing my plans and expectations. He was at my home when the cabinets arrived (they took about 5-6 weeks to be made from the date I ordered them). Patrick was there again when the countertops were installed to ensure everything was just right. I researched other cabinetry at the big box stores as well as several other local kitchen cabinet/remodeling companies. I chose Southtowns Kitchen and Bath and would refer Southtowns to anyone who wants beautiful, all wood, high quality cabinets for a decent price. Remember, you get what you pay for. They weren't inexpensive but neither were the inferior cabinets I checked out at the other companies. For a little bit more money, I have a finished product that I am very pleased with and a kitchen I love walking into.

Southtowns quoted a price based on our drawing and our Corian selection. To avoid any mistakes, Southtowns came to our home and verified our measurements. A new counter top was delivered two weeks later. Southtowns installed it and took away the old counter top. The new counter top is very well constructed and a perfect fit.
