Highland Hearth & Fireplace

Needed fireplace replaced with wood burning insert, and Terry and his team got the job done. Prices well within the range I was told to expect by company that cleaned my chimney. I greatly appreciate Terry's time in guiding me through the process. This insert kicks out a tremendous amount of heat. Thank you, Terry!

I called them and left a message they didn't call back. I emailed them and they didn't email me back. Ok, they are only about 1/2 from my house so I drove down and spoke with either a sales person or secretary , I wasn't sure. I waited about 15 minutes until I was able to make an appointment. He gave me 2 dates a couple weeks away. I told them I had to check my schedule and I call back. I called back the next day and the dates were not available. Not a big deal, I made an appointment 4 weeks later. I live out of the area and made a special trip in for the servicing. The day of the appointment they called and canceled. They also said they would call me 1st thing next week and reschedule. 11 days later and I haven't heard a word from them. If you do decide to go with this company be aware they don't seem that interested in servicing fireplaces, I think new sales and installs are they main interest.

We were told by another company that our chimney was condemned and unsafe. I called them for an estimate and Highland Hearth came out to give us an estimate. A gentleman came to my home, looked inside our chimney, and told me that we did not need to reline our chimney. He mentioned that the other company was just trying to sell us something we did not need. He gave us a number of a chimney sweep, Kyle Beckstein, to provide a second opinion. Kyle came out and reconfirmed that we did not need a relining of our chimney and that we were in fact being deceived by the original company. Highland Hearth was very honest. He could have deceived us because we did not know any better. He passed up a sale in order to do the right thing. That was really impressive to us.
