+ -1 moreThey stole the front part of my Kirby vacuum cleaner and swapped it out for an old rusted one, which I ended up throwing away. They broke both me and my mothers beds and lost pieces and broke a lot of things and refused to pay for any of it even though I had full insurance with the moving company. The driver told me I needed to sign for the load delivery, when I told him that I really didn't want to sign until I was able to see if any of my belongings were broken, he told me I had 90 days to report. When I did report the damage both the Manager and receptionist talked to me like I was a piece of garbage. I am so upset with this company and would never ever recommend them to others. Also, the movers admitted to breaking my beds and advised that they would go back to the warehouse and try to fix it.
Description of Work: I hired them to move me from Buffalo, NY to Atlanta, GA.

Description of Work: I was moving across the country. The company estimated the price of the move which I accepted. The movers came about two or more hours late . The were friendly and professional. Sandi tagged each piece to be moved very quickly. All boxes were moved to my porch. (Boxes had already been packed by us.) I had to leave for an appointment and left a friend to oversee the move. I expected that they would be gone when I returned. They should have finished during that time period that I was gone. But when I returned The truck was still there running and with lights on as it was now dark. Furniture was in the driveway and boxes on the porch. It seems that the household they had packed the previous day had to be disassembled since it was felt that it wouldn't survive the long trip. But the movers did the best they could under the circumstances. My furniture and boxes were carefully loaded and I had very little breakage across the country. I lost one wine glass an a knick knack. They arrived at my new home within the time they had told me and unloaded and placed the furniture in my home and boxes in the garage where I had asked them to. Also they repacked my flatscreen TV as we had packed it improperly and did not charge a fee. At the end of the trip they packed my dining room table and six chairs into my daughter's van as I had given them to her. If we had packed them it would have taken two trips. To conclude I was very pleased with their work. They were professional and friendly.

+ 0 moreFISHER MOVING and STORAGE- North American Van Lines are great. They are delivering a piano and an old sewing machine for me, they have it in their warehouse. They haven't given me a day of when they are delivering it yet, but their service has been good so far. They have been polite and they gave me a reasonable quote. I haven't finished the deal yet. The price is $580 or something like that to move a piano and later on a threw in a, I asked if I could throw in a sewing machine and they said no problem. They gave me the best quote of anyone. I was happy with their service and they are insured. They offered me additional insurance. There was a big window so I haven't gotten the items yet, but they were really good on the phone.

+ -1 moreThere was some miscommunication regarding what packing supplies would be needed for the move. However, the owner, Dan, was very responsive and resolved these problems promptly and professionally. I couldn't be happier with their work and the price.
Description of Work: This was a local move using 5 men and two trucks. They moved from South Buffalo to Hamburg and picked up boxes that was in a nearby storage facility. They also moved furniture from within the Hamburg home to the garage.
