Okay but after that lights started flickering. Instead of showing concern and volunteering to come back,out to look at problem, stated he would have to charge me 85.00 to come back out. Talked with other electricians regarding this, who were appalled at his response, and stated he should have come out immediately to see what the problem was at no charge. It wasn't until I was insistent he come back out that he did.

Dave Dix is a total professional! I got three quotes for the work. One (Schwel Electric) was about $ 2900.00, another (Empire Electric) was $ 1500.00, and David Dix at Dix Electric was initally about $ 2100.So why did I select Dix Electric instead of the lowest price quote? For two reasons. First I asked Dave to reconsider his pricing, which he did and came down about $ 200 and most importantly David did a vert through job of defining to me the great many details required to complete the work to insure the result would exceed my expectations. During the quotation process he earned my confidence because of his attention to details and his quick reponse via cell phone to all my questions. He arrived yesterday to semi complete all the major extrenal work without any power loss. Today he arrived as sheduled, cut the power, exicuted the many changes required, and had our electrical power back up only about 4 hours later. Dave scheduled the electrical inspector who arrived today and stated that all work done was totally to code. I would strongly and totally recommed that if you have minor or major league home wiring or electrical work to be be done any where in the Southtowns that you should hire Dave at Dix Electric. You my pay a little bit more, but you will be totally satified with his work and professional skills. This is a truly great knowledgable electical sub contractor.
