They told me I was "on the list," but six months later, despite my repeated calls and e-mails, they had not made an appearance. I consulted Angie's List and saw that Craig Kruszka Roofing was located near me and had good reviews. I called them, and Craig stopped by. He gave me a reasonable proposal, and because he had time available, came back the same day to replace the missing shingles. The repair looks good, and I think we're ready for winter, which was beginning to worry me. Good work all around- I would use this company again.
Description of Work: We lost a few roof shingles in a wind storm and needed them replaced.

+ -1 moreCraig came and saw the problem suggested a flat roof. Explained why other methods had not worked for long and why newer ideas like a metal roof wouldn't work either. Once I decided to go with his plan, he was here within a week and in a day the repair was completed which was about 2/3rds of the roof and there was no mess or bother. There also no leaks with the rain. Wonderful. I would gladly call him again.

They did exactly what they said they would do and there were no surprises for us at the end (any problems they ran into during the replacement, they would contact us immediately and let us know, that was great, kept us at ease). They were extremely punctual and very neat (cleaned up everything, no debris left laying around anywhere). From start to finish, Craig was easy and great to work with, everything was spelled out for us. We had no worries and would not hesitate to hire Craig again or recommend him to anyone.

+ 0 moreWonderful...Craig came over immediately to diagnose the issue. He was the only one out of 4 people that I had over that knew what was wrong! He also targeted other items in the house that needed fixing before I had additional problems down the road. (He told me what to do for those) Craig is very honest, doesn’t take advantage of you or rip you off by saying you need a new roof as I heard from one guy when it was the chimney and not the roof at all. If you want someone who’s honest as the day is long, call Craig, he won’t steer you wrong.

+ 0 moreCalled Chet and left a message, in the meantime called another contractor who said he would call me back later this afternoon and plan on showing up the next day. Chet returned my call later and since I had spoken with another contractor, told me that if he didn't call or show up the next day to call him. The other contractor (also on Angies list) did not call or show up. Called Chet and he said he would come out that afternoon. He arrived as promised, climbed the roof in spite of the snow and ice and fixed the problem. Because I assisted with setting up the ladder,gave me a discount. EXCELLENT!

Clearly explained the issue in terms of the problem and repair. Money he charged was fair. Only one of four contractors that I left a message with that responded. Would recommend him & use him again.
Description of Work: Called Craig from out of town location to have a repair performed on roof shingles. Some came off of Mother's home in windstorm previous night. Snow was on the way and I wanted repair complete before we had a water leak issue to deal with.

Description of Work: I had a leak in my one closet. I figured it had it be coming from the roof. I received Craig Kruszka's name from a co-worker at work. I called him and made arrangements to have him come out to look at my roof. He was right on time and wasted no time. He fixed my split shingle and replaced 2 pipe vents for me. While working he explained everything he was doing. He assured that it was not going to cost a lot and was very willing to work with me as far as payment would go. Afterwards,he advised me to have someone, in the spring time, to look at my chimmey and said I still had a number of years before I would need to replace the roof. I know I will have him replace my roof when the time comes. I will hire him in a heart beat. He is an honest and trustworthy professional. He is not going to rip you off. He was very empathetic to my situation. I recommend him highly without reserve whatsoever.

Complete professional when it come to response and doing what he said would happen with the timeline. Clearly communicated the issue and the repair process (and the root cause of the issue). + -1 moreIt took approximately 4 days due to 2 being half days because of a lightning storm. They arrived early every morning, worked steadily throughout the day and cleaned up debris at the end of every day so we weren't tracking grit in and out of the house. They removed more than a couple bees nests and once got stung for their trouble. They also went out of their way to do a couple of repairs while up there that were not part of the job,(My husband and I being seniors really appreciated that) In the end everything was left probably cleaner than it was and we have a beautiful new roof to show for it. Extremely pleased with their work!
Description of Work: We needed a new roof due to age and wind damage. He also came and did an emergency repair in the middle of a terrible storm before he replaced our roof.
